Ok so I'm new to sex modding Skyrim. I can't seem to get this to work. I followed all the steps in this post and downloaded Radiant Prostitution Tweaked 1.07f as I didn't install the original mod. I followed all the steps and downloaded all the reccomended mods and the dependancies and put all the appropriate files into my Data folder (installed SexLab Framework newest version first) Followed all the steps for the reccomended mods and dependency mods. Starting up Skyrim I get no crashes or errors. I go to an Inn tried Riverwood Sleeping Giant Inn and talked to Orgnar which is the Inn Keeper but there's no option for prostitution or anyhing of the nature. So I tried going to Whiterun and went into the Inn there and talked to the Inn Keeper and no options for prostitution or anything. Not really sure what I'm doing wrong here. Its almost a fresh save my character is still level 1 and is male. Please help, I would love to get this working!!!

 

EDIT: Actually turns out i'm just stupid, ignore all that. I didn't realise I hadn't enabled the mod in NMM. I am still having an issue though, everytime I get a client and try to perform a sex act nothing happens and in the top left corner it says I've blacklisted whatever sex act I try. How do I fix this? I looked around in the in game mod settings for SexLab, This mod and Zaz Animations. I saw the different sex acts proficienties in SexLab and they all say unskilled and wouldn't let me change anything. Help please. Thanks!

Maybe it's better if you first learn how skyrim modding functions in general. Then I suggest using Mod Organizer as a manager, you can read\watch these guides:

It's a painful step we have to take, before asking for help to the modder.

 

If you already know how it works, remeber to check for:

- the correct load order

- if you have a custom skeleton

- if, once you installed all the animations (sexlab, zaz,...), you run FNIS

- that you don't have mods that create conflicts

- preferably start a new game if you didn't already (to be sure you have a clean save where to test)

you instalet a mod that chances the way animations working (cant remember its name)... with that you need to see the animations to learn how they working, once seen the animition will be unlocked. disable that mod then you are fine.

I'm having a bug where if I leave the inn to wander the town the innkeeper puts a bounty on my head of 0 Gold and it cancels the main prostitution quest.

 

The 0 gold part is weird but if you go to far from the inn in a town while doing the walk around whoring quest it will place a bounty on you.

 

Even while you're still in the town now? I thought you had to leave city limits before you would receive a bounty.

 

Are you talking about a town or a city? You are using both terms and they are different. Cites in skyrim are there own zone and you should be fine to go anywhere with in that zone. A example would be Whiterun. A town is part of the main skyrim and you can only go so far, a example would be Riverwood.

 

 

I was talking about Whiterun in this case, so I guess city would be the correct term. As soon as my character sets foot outside the Bannered Mare in Whiterun I get the bounty notification. As a fix, I found that if I clicked the "restrict to innkeeper's own town" option  to "off" then the bounty issue went away; but it would be nice if I could get it to work the way it was intended.

I usually play with realistic room rental and a RND mod and always play with the innkeeper as a really mean pimp keeping most of the money I make and thus making it hard to make money, pimp needs to keep his prostitute working hard.

I have a couple of ideas that would help make this harder and I thought I would post them here. If they have already been addressed or suggested before I apologise.

1 Would it be possible to add a chance of the pimp wanting a free sample when you go off the clock?

2 Maybe have a patron refuse to pay, (possibly have a slider to set the chance) but the innkeeper would still want paying? Harder now that they take a percentage rather than a flat fee, but see next idea.

3 Could the innkeeper payment be set as the highest of either a fixed amount or a percentage of your fee?

 

A new quest, similar to the camp job but having to visit the local barracks and "pay off" the local guards for your innkeeper, possibly make it the only available job until it is completed?

 

As a level 4 quest how about having to visit the Jarl and put on a show with a dog and/or another prostitute before having to service the Jarl and maybe their advisors? Not sure if that would be possible without breaking their scripts.

 

Overall I think this is an awesome mod and I am in awe of your modding skills.

Well then welcome to a whole new world. If the animations are not working run "GeberateFNISForUsers.exe" under "Skyrim\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users"

Well then welcome to a whole new world. If the animations are not working run "GeberateFNISForUsers.exe" under "Skyrim\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users"

@manta: maybe it's nothing, but I'll say it anyway. Check the sexlab menu on the MCM, if you go where the animations are listed you should see all of them checked.

And pls read the instructions of the mods you install, you should have known how FNIS worked.

Does anybody know why, after the Installation of Radiant Prostitution actual Version f, on the upper left Corner a message appears aprox. every 10 minutes :

 

you didnt pay for your gear in time and a bounty has been put on your head.

 

of course nothing of this happens, but the meassage appears and i dont want to play a 200 hours + game with that message appearing . and yes there is no doubt that this is from Radiant Prostitution right after installing.

Doing some testing, while working at The Bee and Barb in Riften. If the check box in the MCM for Restrict to current innkeeper's town is checked:

if I choose to solicit work and have a client inside the inn, then if I leave I am arrested sent to jail. Once released I get my money back and when I go back to Keerava my job has ended, I don't owe any money and I can request to start work again.

If I choose to solicit work and leave straight away then I can not solicit work outside and checking with Keerava my job has ended.

Turn the check box off I can work inside and outside the Tavern without any problems.

So I started with it turned off: I worked inside, outside, inside and then outside again. Then having switched it too checked I could carry on working outside, then worked inside again but was arrested when I went outside a final time. Again i kept all the money I earned.

 

I also set her percentage to 90% worked several clients and earned over 2500 GP. I then put all but 20 in a chest upstairs before returning to Keerava to go off the clock, at which point she took all my money leaving me with the rest upstairs, OK it would count as stealing if I collect it so I tried again but with the restrictio switched off. Again I earned 2000+GP but put it in the barrel outside before returning to Keerava and clocking off, keeping all the money this time, not a very good madam is she.

 

Finally I could only start 3 quests from the strange letter option:

1 would not start

2 was meet  the fan near a farm / village

3 the companion quest.

 

I tried asking repeatably and using the MCM menu to reset jobs to see if anything else was offered, but had no luck. 

I hope this helps with bug finding, the mod is great.

 

Final strange thing, occasionally the camera would be stuck behind my toon when the sex scene started and would not move until the scene ended, but would be fine next time. Since I have read about this in the SD+ thread I imagine it is a sexlab bug and will post a comment there, just thought I would mention it too see if anyone else has had a similar problem.

 

Edit, I noticed that the mod was updated today so I downloaded the latest 1.07f file and was using that.

Ok sounds like you are having a framework issue and not a RPT issue then if the sexlab animations page is blank. I would recommend going into the tech help forum and making a new thread about it. You will get better help there, I will also go post and try and help you there.

I got a minor bug, when initiating a sex scene with this mod the first "phase" will be broken, the 2 actors won't sync at all, after that it starts to work perfectly, what addon/mod or sexlab setting could be conflicting with this problem?

Does it do it with other sex mods? It kinda sounds like you have script lag.

I'm having an issue where sometimes I loose control over my character after rough sex animations have played. I can move the camera around with the joysticks, but none of the buttons work. Any idea what might be causing that?

I often see some dialogue lines change, if I wait a few seconds..is it normal? It almost always happens when I tell them to "follow me" and then click again when I'm at the place I choose.

 

Normal Skyrim behavior if the response to the dialog option overrides the original text.

 

I lied on the number of clients and a bounty was put on me (400 gold)..strangely this didn't trigger the dialogue with the whiterun guards..I get the "I know you" comment once I click on them and nothing else. If I try to commit a normal crime, though, the prison dialogue triggers normally.

 

Odd i use the normal Bounty mechanics. did you run the run in the whiterun?

 

I'm having pretty frequent crash to desktop.

 

CTD it skyrims way of saying "something is wrong" and it does not create any hints of what is wrong. The only thing i can hit to is to use the Memory extender in skse 1.7 and the ENBoost.

 

Updated the CTD Fix Suggestion on the main page regarding that.

Is that a fresh install? if it is that should not happen as this message is from the "get your stuff back" quest after you been robbed.

Either way just open the console and type "stopquest  mf_GettingStuffBack"

mh can you tell me what you where doing? in some case i disable the player controls to avoid problems but seems i missed it somewhere. The other possibility is that you use the free float cam and it still some what bugged.

I got a minor bug, when initiating a sex scene with this mod the first "phase" will be broken, the 2 actors won't sync at all, after that it starts to work perfectly, what addon/mod or sexlab setting could be conflicting with this problem?

 

Does it do it with other sex mods? It kinda sounds like you have script lag.

but moving sexlab settings around did not do anything.

Well if it is only doing it with this mod and not the rest then it shouldn't be script lag but this mod has no control over animations it just called them up from sexlab. So I honestly have no idea why it would do that with one mod but not the rest.

Korial - thank you very much for your updates. I have one favour to ask. Since you frequently update your mod, can you add to you mod something like dialogue script save. You see, your dialogue is great and I love it lot. But I did some "adoptions" on some dialogue lines. So, whenever I update you mod, it change and overwrite existing one, and I have to go again in TES5edit to change it too. I have seen this possible in one mod on this forum. Would you be so kind to do that? I really wish to save my dialogue script. Thank you.

I've had similar things, ie: first stages of animations not lining up, being out of synch, one actor starting at stage 2, etc, but it is not at all unique to this mod in my experience, also, some animations seem more prone to it than others, but it doesn't appear to be consistent either, sometimes it happens, sometimes not. I have no idea what actually causes it, but I have had it happen regardless of which mods I use/have installed at any given time. You might check in the SL FAQ thread, or one of the other SL support threads.

if you could point to the mod maybe i can assimilate... i mean steal... adapt that function.
