well, it's easy:

open BodySlide2, load your outfit, set the sliders as you wish and then push the button "save preset".

Done.

Just as in bodyslide++

I have a problem using the brushes with the sliders.
When I hit the edit (pencil icon) on a slider to and set the number to a negative number (for example I hit edit for "slim thighs" and set it to -100%) then use the brushes to solve any clipping,the changes aren't saved at all.
This is a problem because my personal body preset uses some negative numbers on some sliders and when creating the outfits with body slide they end up clipping exactly on the areas I can't fix using this method. Masking is not really an option for the outfits I'm trying to edit.

soo... I have an issue. When I convert an armor/clothing everything looks as it's supposed to in BS preview, in game however, it's though the breast slider options have been inverted? where I select 70 for 'breast' and 'breastsmall' in game it looks like they are down to only 30? any thoughts?

Did you use the latest version (v2.0.0.10)? Did you make sure your preset was saved correctly? Maybe you've used something like RaceMenu accidentally to scale down the breasts?

I'm also having an issue like this. And I really don't think it's mod related. I've created a few CBBE TBBP armors with Bodyslide v2.0.0.10 and it seems on the armors I've created the breasts get smushed in. This is with or without any animation mods installed.

I've attached some screenshots below to show the problem better. The TBBP nude body is the built-in "CalientBodyAdvanced TBBP" preset and the daedric outfit is one I created via Outfit Studio.

You can see the side view looks smushed:

post-13895-0-21951600-1387923541_thumb.png

The front view looks normal as far as breast width goes:

post-13895-0-31016100-1387923559_thumb.png

Seems this youtuber is having the same issue with regular BBP:

Any thoughts?

Thanks

EDIT:

I don't think I made it clear that this only seems to happen when I make a TBBP outfit.

Are you making both the armor and body tbbp? it could be caused by bone position on the skeleton, and also by the female_skeleton.hkx if you use it with HDT.

I also encountered something kind of similar with the older version of BS2 (2.007) and earlier where armor would match with the body in the tool but upon loading in game it would be offset. I found the cause of it is due to the offset in the nif file itself. I found that opening the shape after its finished in nifskope and correcting its offset would solve the issue i'm speaking of when you go to make a shape with BS2.

Yes both the body and the armors are tbbp. The issue persists no matter the animation type I have installed. That part about the skeleton seems to make some sense. How would I do that change in nifskope? I've attached the _1 torso file if that helps.

then you have to be more specific about what you want and as much clear as possible.

If you don't know how bodyslide works it's hard for someone who wants to help you understand where he should start with the advises.

Just tell me what you know about this program and what you want to do with it and i'll help you :)

I have the same kind of problem. After some investigation I think it is caused by incorrect skin transformations applied by outfit studio. When loading the included TBBP body as reference, outfit studio applies an offset to the body and recalculates the skin transformations. And for the breast bones the calculated transformations are incorrect. I compared the reference nif and the output nif using nifscope and this is what I found out:

1) The vertices of the body are offset by x:0 y:-2.5443 z:3.2879 compared to the reference body.

2) Most of the skin transformation entries are also offset by x:0 y:2.5443 z:-3.2879 (and they also differ a few digits behind the decimal point).

3) The skin transformation entries for the breast bones have a different rotation than the reference and they do NOT have x:0 y:-2.5443 z:3.2879 as offset.

4) When I take the skin transformation values for the breasts from the reference, apply the offset x:0 y:-2.5443 z:3.2879 and change the output nif accordingly, the breasts show up correctly again (not 100% correct, I had to apply another x:0 y:0.5 z:-0.5 to get a better matching result, which is still not really 100% the same as the reference, but 99%).

5) When I try to use the corrected output nif as reference, then I end up with crushed breasts again, as outfit studio still seems to recalculate the skin transformations and does not use the ones from the nif.

The points above are also true for the  body in the _1 file from evilsage4.

Posted this in the PSB thread but thought it is wise to post here too

So i followed Aveck's video instruction. I successfully managed to create a pregnancy slided tera armor but there are flickering black squares on the armor(ENB only). Without enb there isnt, but when i turn on projectENB this is what happened. This is the ONLY armor that consist of these flickers. My other converted stuff dont have(but their pregnancy sliders dont work lol)

You can modify your body mesh as if it was an outfit no problem, though I suggest you to follow this steps (please note that this is just personal experience):

1) Load your body_1.nif as a reference;

2) Create a new slider;

3) Now in the sliders tab there's your slider, to modify it you must click on the pencil symbol to enter edit mode (it will turn purple so you will have not troubles recognizing you're in edit mode;

4) Use the various tools to morph the mesh until you're satisfied;

5) When you're finished exit edit mode clicking again on the pencil;

6) Repeat the process with every slider then save, exit bodyslide and open it to check if everything is working as expected. You can load your project whenever you want to modify it.

Everyone is fascinated with Outfit Studio, but i would like to ask a question about bodyslide body itself. How do i use it? I can't find any tutorials to that matter. If i try to install UNPB(for BBP acording to Caliente) > Bodyslide 2 and then build the body, it will have no texture and crappy normal map(body crushed around privates), if i try to go UNPB>CBBE>Bodyslide 2 it will always use the same default body, despite what i build in bodyslide.

I found a workaround for the TBBP problem. I modified the included reference skeleton and now there are no more crushed/smushed boobs in my game (I moved and rotated the breast and butt bones of the reference skeleton a bit).

Replace CalienteTools\BodySlide\res\skeleton_female_xpms.nif with the attached one and you should be good to go.

Edit: This only seems to work if I have installed Bodyslide outside of my Skyrim directory (and start it without MO). CalienteTools\BodySlide\res\skeleton_female_xpms.nif seems to be used only as fallback if bodyslide cannot find any other skeleton? Maybe MO is  also required as it makes it impossible for outfit studio to find an already installed skeleton?

Edit2: On my system I needed a fresh installation of bodyslide outside of the skyrim directory for the fix to work. Bodyslide can then be started with MO without problem, so that it finds the textures.

Edit3: Now I have visible neck seams even for armors not generated by bodyslide. Can someone using my fix report if he also has this issue?. Seems to be caused by some unrelated issue.

Edit4: Because outfit studio moves the vertices, the bsd files for the seams need to be adjusted afterwards. In the xml file NH_LockSeamHi.bsd needs to be changed to NH_LockSeamHi2.bsd, and NH_LockSeamLo.bsd to NH_LockSeamLo2.bsd

sorry guys i know its, probably somewhere in the forum but.

im using MO and had to install "body slide" outside of it to work.

my question is.

is there a way to use Bodyslide outfit studio using MO and still get the textures, its hard to get anything done properly if all is gray .

(sry for my bad english but its not my native(and im drunk))

Sure you can, you only need to add the bodyslide executable as described here.

People that don't use MO can replace the skeleton without having to move BodySlide somewhere else. The program doesn't search for skeletons in your Skyrim install.

I want to thank the creators of these tools once again, I'm having a lot of fun using them. Once more question, I find under the arms a lot of clipping and it's very hard to get too, is there some way to make this area deform better or enhance the outfit to alleviate the clipping? It would be cool if we could pose the models, say with arms raised to get at these places :)

Wanted to come back to give my thanks to everyone involved in making outfit studio. It is probably one of the best things to ever happen to skyrim modding since MCM.

While working on some meshes, however, I noticed that sometimes the smoothing feature of outfit studio will cause the mesh to split apart. Is there some way I can avoid this? Right now I need to manually move the vertices back into place, and that can get tiresome really fast. Perhaps I'm completely wrong about how meshes work though. I wouldn't rule that out...heh.

I was also wondering if outfit studio had a way to delete portions of a mesh. This would be another feature I would love to have for conversions.

Bodyslide is 'really' all about using the CBBE bodies from base, then making slider adjustments (including some that approximate UNPB) then then hitting the build body option. Now if you save that sliderset (I have mine named Arthur xxxxx) you can then apply that setting to any body/outfit you've installed, to mostly good effect. Even doing batch building. (Though I will admit, I'm not too fond of every outfit/body group automatically being selected.

Don't forget to make a low and high weight version before you build. And you have to save the settings to your saved version if you want to batch build.
