All you have to do is type in maintenance and it will bring up the link to the page then you can go back to it whenever you want and get the picture. If it was true I don't play skyrim as much right now anyway and even if I went back and started to play it now and they placed that into effect into play I would of been OK whatever SEE you at your COMPITITION because your not the only site out there that has skyrim/oblivion/fallout nv mods.

Look, I know it's sale time again, but it seems that 80% of the time IN GENERAL I decide to look something up, I'm met with an infinite load/internal server error/maintnance upgrade. Consider this and his hypocritical stance on modders. Seems that the people who contribute to Nexus are the ones who pay the highest price. By Dark0ne's own admission Nexus generated over a quarter of a million dollars in revenue in a few years time. There is NO FUCKING WAY he laid out that kind of money for tech support. IF he did and got the level of service we all see on Nexus now, he's not only an asshole, he's an impotent dumbass AND an asshole. A note to all the kiddies out there: arrogant, drunk and incompetent is no way to go through life and he's living proof. And it tickles the shit out of me to see him squirm like a worm on a hot sidewalk beneath the blazing failure he's turning Nexus in to.

All of that changed in 2012 after Skyrim was released and he turned what was left of a community into a for-profit circus. As to making my own forum...no thanks. I have a real job and a life. I have no desire to be a 27 yr old pajama boy. And if he did shut it down for good, it would indeed be a blessing. This thread is getting too long. Yet you're posting in it...

And while I'm at it I'd like to thank you for the FO mods of yours I've used and had fun with.

I mean, everywhere people are bitching about the content industry going bonkers and filing lawsuits against everyone for peanuts (just take the latest Youtube-content claiming madness for example), and when one modder uses a pixel-sized part of another mod the big respect discussion comes up. If someone wants to use my mods on the Nexus or elsewhere --> do so. For the love of the great spaghetti monster, take the stuff and have fun. Just don't charge anybody for it. That's the reason why I would take down all of my mods from the Nexus if they would strat charging people anything. Besides from the ads crap, I mean.

I even encouraged foreign users to translate it and upload to their sites. Because when I lost a lot of rare mods I owned back on my now failed hard drive, Most of them were taken down on Nexus. It was because of Russian, German and Japanese sites that I was able to recover some of those rare mods. All I ever asked was to be credited. That's it... If money is involved, then yes, I better be the one making it or I'll see to it to be diminished from the site it's on.

Don't even get me started on cretins making separate accounts so they can favourite their own uploads. It's exactly the coddling of this kind of youtube "my dick is more imortant than yours" policy that is making the nexus one of the worst web communities I know. I know this is biting the hand that feeds you, but that hand is getting more and more covered in feces as time passes.

I didn't make money when I tinkered things as a child, and modding is the same except that it is for a game, for a virtual universe, in this case Skyrim. Since it's highly popular some people try to get a piece of the pie. Be it "fame" or money. Blegh. I'm highly disgusted by the attitude that it's money and nothing else that makes things happen. I don't want anything to do with gold digging arseholes and compulsive fame whores.

Thought they had modernised their Server, from single-potato-Server to Serial-fried-potatoes-server But this evening... Nexus Server down again. Oil become too hot?
