Guest Ragna_Rok Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Dude, tony stark built an arc reactor in a cave with a bucket of scraps. dinomagick Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 They don't like people pointing out the dirt they do. Hiding posts they don't personally agree with, yellow texting in debate threads when they know they are going to lose, etc. Everyone knows they do it, just can't can't talk about it. And if you do, they'll label you a trouble-maker or a liar. This sounds like what's happening in the US......
ElectricSheep Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I agree with you all: Nexus staff is a pain in the ass in what could otherwise be a good community. But as I asked 3 separate times: What are you going to do about it? Nothing? Awesome. And what there is to be done, a voodoo doll of Dork0ne? Simply don't support them: don't upload your mods there, do not purchase premium accounts, do not recommend them to anyone etc. The Nexus may not be sinking yet, but they're on the best way to joker themselves a Batman - an alternative mod hosting site ran by competent people. At this point the average nexus user is either annoyed at their retarded policies or constant technical problems, possibly both. I would gladly support a professional site where I can both share my mods as well as thoughts, without having to kiss asses every time I have something critical to say.

snsd4203 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Keep in mind that about 8~10 staffs are managing over 24 servers across the north america and europe.

Well you don't need to kiss ass to criticize something. as long as you stay within the border of criticize and not start a flame war. But if the criticize is long the border of attack rater then constructive be prepared to be attacked back. if you can't stand that back it is better not criticize others. Nexus has been the border of allot of attacks lately towards mod makers. like this mod suck.. And not saying why it suck. or how it can be improved this is considered trolling rather then criticize. This type of response even happened on must have mods like SkyUI, Safety load, immersive patrols etc..
Guest Ragna_Rok Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 *points up* ... what he said. *gives a cookie* hm. reminds me that there was this awesome mod "cookies of skyrim" ... hopefully i still have enough ingredients
Monsto Brukes Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 Dude your sig is outta control. It's like a used car commercial. Not saying "change it bitch!" i'm just sayin it's loud.

Umm no, you definitely don't have to start a flame war to bring the Nexus wrath upon yourself, all you have to do is to broach a touchy matter - be it about a mod or the Nexus itself. The pattern is almost always the same: they try to find some small detail in your post to dismiss it completely simultaneously imputing you impoliteness and/or lack of appreciation. The moderators, on the other hand, are just a fine example of politeness; they love to mock you around and call whiny to push you over your limits and prove what a nasty troll you are. It's actually extremely unlikely to see a flame war at all on the Nexus because someone's always hitting the alarm button preemptively. Nexus has been the border of allot of attacks lately towards mod makers. like this mod suck.. And not saying why it suck. or how it can be improved this is considered trolling rather then criticize. Yeah, it's really easy to make your viewpoints seem unassailable if you exaggerate any alternative into extremes and bring out anecdotal examples.

Not saying "change it bitch!" i'm just sayin it's loud. true, i still wonder how to change it to something more subtle... at this rate i run soon out of space for new mods. edit: since those bitch-nexus-threads get kinda boring for me im gonna unfollow them anyway
ElectricSheep Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 i still wonder how to change it to something more subtle... A conundrum indeed.
Jordan Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 What do you wanna do about the Nexus? Nothing? You're damn right nothing, because nothing needs to be done. It's falling apart on its own. All you need to do is not pay membership fees and make sure to use AdBlock while you're over there to make sure they don't get a penny out of you. Other than that, antagonizing them in the forums isn't gonna do anything and it'll only serve to keep their fanboys on their side, there's a reason my username over ther is 'DLandLeave'
ettorg Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 dafuck? loverslab is the site for nexus banned people? so sad:) but i think it's better than that (am i wrong?)...nexus is (what's the english for that?) it's like mass media:lots of shit, some good things? here it's more (for me) like the place where we can talk...well, a true forum. It's ok to talk about nexus, but it's better to talk about mods, or anything else...than "dark one is a bitch" for exemple . I often look the pics/mods here, give "likes" when i have the time..it's just some games don't forget it! like the business mans from nexus (or steam, fuck steam)
