Sanguine Debauchery (SD+) (January 2025)

Speaking of changes, I am taking this opportunity to make several changes to the mechanics of enslavement in SD+.

Some of these changes may seem drastic but they improve my testing experience so I believe they are for the better.

 

- Asking guards or other NPCs to help you leave your master now require a speechcraft test (Average or Hard depending on who you talk to). This will make escape a lot harder in early stages.

 

- Cycling from standing, kneeling and crawling is now manual and up to you. Wearing an armbinder or yoke will prevent you from crawling. Wearing a yoke also prevents you from kneeling. That will allow me to have the master expect you to stand or kneel when you address them and punish you if you forget.

 

- Punishment items now come with their own expiration timer. You can accelerate certain punishments with some actions like pleading.

 

- Armbinders (and cuffs from ZAP turned into armbinders for DD) are now punishment items, which means you will have your hands free more often to work for your master but you will be punished with armbinders if you don't behave.

 

- The main quest for Sanguine with Dreamworld visits will have a percent chance to automatically start after you sleep in a place where Sanguine may notice you (or after A Night to Remember, whichever will come first). The probability of start will depend on which place you are sleeping in. You will only have one option to turn off automatic start triggers if you want to delay the main quest.

 

- Leaving a cell without your master no longer triggers a choking effect. The only effect triggered from the collar will be the shock effect with increased arousal. I may adjust a pain/health effect as well by the time of release. During that effect you will be considered as escaped and you will lose twice the hourly amount of trust allowance.

 

- You will be able to register new races as masters if you use the surrender key to submit to them. This is an alpha feature with unexpected results depending on the race. Speaking races will be treated the same as the Redguard slavery gear profile. Animal races will be treated the same as the Dog slavery profile.

 

Also, DD 4.0 removed the default dialogues to ask NPCs to unlock your restraints, so you will have to rely on NPCs leaving your hands unbound after sex from now on.

 

I am still working on adjusting the trust allowance system but I don't think it will be much improved for this release. If I can get enough testing time in the next few days, I may be able to release the changes before Christmas. Keep your fingers crossed!

Ooh I really like those planned changes! Particularly the first three in your list.

 

Looking forward to the next version! Good thing I'm not far into my new game yet so I can easily start a new one when the next SD+ arrives.

- Asking guards or other NPC - at low level that does sound harder but at higher level with speech and speech perks might be a bit easy, will you be checking npc morality as well? seem to think this is checked when you use the dialogue option to enter slavery

 

- Leaving a cell without your master no longer triggers a choking effect - How will that effect moving about? had it a few times with the choke effect i'd be trying to change cell, like leaving an inn to move to a new location as all sex/earning profit for master options are exhausted, and i'd then get teleported back inside after the choke kicked in so the new thing sounds good although we might start escaping when we arent trying to

Will the upcoming version fix the "Can I go now"  topics?

 

The options don't correspond with their results right now—"[...] stay loyal [...] wish to be free" leaves you with the collar still equipped, for example.

For some unknown reasons I can't seem to make the enslavement work. the surrender button does nothing either for me.

I tried setting all SD+ events as the only ones possible in death alternative to no avail. I started the mod, got all the notifications except "sanguine is watching you" (i managed to get it once but on the other tries) adn I still don't get enslaved. I'm clearly doing something wrong, I just don't know what.

 

I've attached my load order for any kind soul willing to help; I'm going to keep experimenting on my side.

If there is an error or some badness, a log would help too.

 

Edit:

NonEssentialChildren.esp is known to fuck with sex mods. Or to be more specific, sex mods are known to no like it when children are not essentials. Some LL mods just shut down when that happens. The reason being is that the only way to know if an actor is a child is because of that essential flag, that flag cannot be removed unless you change children into non-children.

If you mean the issue with magic associated to the player's hands for hand to hand combat, I still don't have a solution I am afraid.

but i have no wephone, or magic equip. i have no other mod to hand fight. trust point get low. i can't playing this mod.

Remove all item from your inventory, so you're naked. Open the console and enter: player.showinventory. That will list every item "hidden" from the inventory, with their mod ID. If you don't know what those items are, use that ID to find them through TES5Edit. That is the only way to be sure that you truly have no weapon.

Use your best judgment for troubleshooting this. If you have nothing on you while free, is there something on you while you are enslaved? Put on your Sherlock Holmes hat and investigate :-)

 

It may also be your character being "stuck" in a fighting stance or something. Try to reproduce your problem and identify what is breaking by having datasets for when the error occurs and when the error doesn't occurs. Is the problem also happening with the bare minimum of mods required by SD+? Etc, etc.

First of all, where do I find the log files if there is no crash or anything apparently wrong with the game except the slavery not starting? And do you have any mod alternative for non-essential children that I could use?

Any alternative to make the children non essential will result in the same effects.

The only way to make children non essential is to turn them into adults as far as the game engine is concerned... which runs into issues with SexLab's safeguards against children and sex animations.

I am happy to announce that version 3.6 of SD+ is available with these changes:

 

- Added: Add starting quest stages and objectives for ‘The Truth'

Here is the issue in github - https://github.com/SkyrimLL/SDPlus/issues/34

This is more of an occasion to close down an old issue than anything else. Inte and I have been taking different paths for this sort of thing.

 

I haven't begun exploring what DDi 4.0 has to offer yet but I will as I find out more about the new changes.

 

My current focus (for January actually, since I will be away most of next week), will be to deliver complete quests/stories for SD+ and Parasites first, then for SexLab Stories and the rest of my mods.

So vampire slavery mah dood??? AND custom races??? I'll cry in joy if yes ヽ(^ロ^)ノ, also I see that you recommend new games for updates anyways but would you say its REALLY important this time around (im on the last version before this one)? Cuz configuring all the MCM settings for my mods the way I have to is a massive pain in the ass, especially thanks to Defeat & because there's no "import settings to another game" function (god i wish there was). Also I'm wary about DD 4.0 cuz of all the horror stories I've seen so far & alot of my mods haven't updated for it yet.

A suggestion for a minor tweak.

 

Can the chance of a dreamworld visit slider be changed to allow 1% increments - At the moment, with the minimum of 10% dreamworld visits can happen so often they can become a bit repetitive.

An old bug of SD came back in last version.

 

It prevent TFC from sexlab from working while enslaved

If i remember correctly was also present in a really old version and was fixed... 

 

I just updated this, and dialogues, and it only happens while enslaved.

Quick Query, pls?  You say Zap 7.0, but NOT Zap 8.0

 

Any particular reason?  Lots of ppl seem to be using 7.0 just fine, and it doesn't seem to change/add anything to the original other than the furniture.  Does that somehow conflict with SD+, or is it anything else?

My main reason is that I have not installed it so I can't tell if it works or not.

 

If anyone can confirm it is working fine with SD+, I will remove that comment.

It is still needed for better control over slavery gear. I have plans to expand on the addon to allow people to fine tune slavery options.

I will make the change. That one is easy. I can't promise I will have time to release a patch before I leave though.

I don't use TFC so I didn't notice this issue. Did you also upgrade Devious Devices to 4.0?

That will help me understand if it is likely to come from my code or theirs.
