Guest Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Here's idea some of which aren't really "daily tasks: 1.) go get some firewood ( I use this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32448/? for instance with an axe you can chop down any tree and get firewood) 2.) Go down to the lake and get some water fill via bucket/container 3.) Set up a bear trap for some event to rob someone. 4.) go to nearest town and ask a female warrior that you need help lead her into a trap to also be enslaved, (female can be spawned by SD+) 5.) take there weapon to a blacksmith to get it tempered (gives you a special mask thinking of the metal mask from heretical resources so you cant interact and a note to give to blacksmith) 6.) catch fish/ collect food/ sweep area/ collect ore / feed horses/ cook meals for them 7.) They could start brawl events with you if you win you get respect/points 8.) with bathing in skyrim they could force you to take a bath depending on your dirtyness level. 9.) pay a crooked guard off money and sex, deliver a message to there spy. 10.) service their horses.

Pressing the arrow keys causes the prompt to state that I am, but no animation takes place. I am of course running FNIS every time and all that, so not sure what the problem might be or how to correct it. Any advice? Quick question: Where exactly do I get the crawling animations? I read somewhere that FNIS Sexy Move has to be installed which I have (latest version and all) but my character is still walking normally when I enable crawl. Of course I ran fnis x) Also: My character tends to kneel instead of standing even when the option for that is disabled. Doesn't bother me that much though. I don't know what to say regarding troubleshooting issues with animations/idles. It is working on my end, so I can't reproduce that issue. I tried using the up/down arrows and I can cycle through standing/kneeling/crawling even before getting enslaved for the first time. Outside of the arrows, your owner will make you crawl at times. If it is a beast, that will be the only option available. Informal poll/survey. (...) So... what would be a favorite daily challenge you would like to see in SD+? How do you define the amount of food? Some "food mods" (iNeed) are implementing foods with "parts". Or how much does a full cheese wheel counts toward the goal (could be broken into 12 parts)? It would also be nice to know how free the tasks can be, or limited. For instance, can an owner set you free in a city and give you a task? If so, it could be to go shop some wood, or go buy stuff from different merchants and report back. A bandit could tell you to be a bait to rob an NPC (spawned by SD+). Or even to simply cook something with given ingredients. Food from my point of view are items with the right vanilla 'food' keyword. Eventually, I am hoping to have complex tasks like sending you on an errand for a few days even, like a courrier. Right now, tasks are limited to a count and a threshold, and a flag to decide if success means going over the count or staying under. That should give me plenty of variations to begin with (things like 'no clothes for a day' or 'only have sex when master is present').

That's something we could add to Content Consumer's SD Addon eventually (list all creatures and add a checkbox to enable/disable them for enslavement). hehe 2 legged creatures make sense to me to be able to enslave you but 4 legged don't. Still that does sound like a good idea for CC's addon

I definitely understand you might not be able to help considering the massive possible variations in mods and effects they can have on things, but you never know. I'll share a little more info, and if you have any suggestions then awesome but I won't be surprised if there's just nothing to be done. I just haven't been at this very long so I'm not really as familiar as I'd like to be with narrowing all these things down. Anyway, I just used an Immerslave LAL start to see what would happen, and that enabled me to use the kneel/crawl feature just fine, even after the enslavement ended for some reason. I was hopeful that whatever it changed on the engine side of things might carry over to my previous save, but sadly that failed to work. Both when reloading my game and a fresh game, it failed to cycle through with the arrows. So it's not exactly a big deal. It seems like it'll work for me once I trigger an enslavement in my game for the first time, and seems like it'll continue even after that ends. But you say you're able to do it even before a first enslavement which makes me wonder what what the limitation is. It's almost certainly a difference in mod setups, but I can't think of anything I'm using which would require an initial enslavement to unlock the SD feature. I doubt any of this will help you narrow it down any more than before, but again, you never know so I'm throwing it out there just the same. I love this mod, and appreciate all the work you've put into it. <3 EDIT: Also I'd like to give +1 to the suggestion of adding more of the monster options to the SD addon at some point.

By the way, the next version will allow you to disable to condition for release if you set the duration slider to the maximum value. There will be a daily 5% chance of being sold to another master if you exceed the maximum duration from the slider and your master is not happy with you. Any chance that we can adjust that chance in a slider? So we can set it higher if we want?

Content Consumer Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Edit: The next version of Stories will have a dead spriggan next to where you start as a spriggan, with a bow, some arrows and a sworn (forsworn models, closest things there are to spriggan natural weapons). Really, the only reason I did it was because I like the look of the Forsworn and Riekling gear and felt it complimented the spriggan aesthetic nicely. I should probably get rid of them, considering that Stories will be duplicating that (sword and bow anyway). Which reminds me - I'm using the Falmer tree-root bow mesh from the Real Bows mod. While it doesn't quite fit the vanilla spriggan theme (though I do like the asymmetric look for that kind of organically-grown thing), IMO it's a bit better than the forsworn bow, and has the added advantage of not being identical to all Forsworn gear. Still haven't found anything that looks like a decent spriggan sword unfortunately. Though something club-ish might be possible with this wooden quarterstaff. Too bad you can't load Dragonborn, because those Riekling spears are perfect as arrows.

I really only started playing about a week ago, so I downloaded your mod on the 10th. I'll go ahead and download the newest version and see if it changes anything. I think I've finally got everything else in order so I can actually start a first real playthrough. It seriously takes forever when you don't have the experience to know ahead of time what to do. But anyway, I'll let you know if it changes anything. EDIT: So I updated to the newest version and started a brand new game. Let everything activate, reloaded and tried again and still no joy. It continues to give the message saying I'm kneeling/crawling, but there is no animation for it.

Just one question though, do you plan on putting gags back on followers soon? I'm also curious if you'd ever work with Devious Equip in any future makes? Lots of good gear there . I need to do more tests with followers to see if their behavior is/was linked to equipped devices or not. I don't use Devious Equip and my load order is maxed out, so there is little chance I will add support anytime soon. Cheers! I hope it's soon because I'm waiting for that before I start a new/continue this Skyrim playthrough. There's just a lot of fun in it when you have your character and her followers are helpless because of your bad decisions

I currently have two daily tasks implemented - find x amount of food and find valuable items worth x amount of gold. For now, failing to do the task will cost you allowance points / completing the tasks will give you allowance points, but eventually tasks can have greater consequences (punishment scenes or devices, permanent consequences like being sold to Simple Slavery, etc). My question at this point: What would be a good daily task to add for this release? I want to publish the update with 3 tasks to randomly pick from, so at this time I only need one more task. So... what would be a favorite daily challenge you would like to see in SD+? I want to mimic what some others have said, I'd really like it if you added some cleaning/maid/waitress menial tasks. Like being instructed to clean the area that could include playing a sweeping/scrubbing the floor animation a certain amount of times, or being a waitress and bringing drinks/food to customers in a bar (and maybe if you aren't enslaved to a inn owner then the master could travel with you to one where you would be lent out as cheap labor to a inn in exchange for free drinks or something for your owner. It would be doubley cool if there was a chance your owner would pass out while you're working, giving you another opportunity to escape). I think maria eden or wolfclub has some animations that had to do with being a waitress or cleaning, can't quite remember because those mods messed with my game's stability too much and I needed to remove them, sadly.

It's probably somewhere in the 98-page testing thread or 97-page modding questions thread. Have a lot of fun spending hours looking for it only to not find it! I did find a repeatable creature task list with a couple of ideas though. I tried to find a list of ideas I had about what creature masters could do - not just falmer and possibly giants, but less intelligent ones too. I could swear it was in the SD+ thread, but I can't find it, so I may have imagined making one. Here's a partial list of possible activities the player could be required to do for a creature master. Don't know if this helps, or is completely irrelevant, but it's either this or go to bed. Some of these events require random activation, not a schedule - i.e. an event happens every six hours, but it's random whether you get grooming, hunting, childcare, etc. Grooming. May require some animation or other. Your master needs you to groom him (and the whole pack) periodically. Different strokes for different folks - Draugr master might require you to moisturize their decaying flesh with a concoction or something, a dog will just want to be petted, a horse needs a brush, etc. Bring me food. Appropriate to type - bears like berries, honey, and meat. Sabre cats like fish and meat. Bristleback boars like vegetation and meat. Horses like hay, carrots. Goats like anything. Child care. Younger (scaled down?) pack members spawn, and need to be watched. Parent NPCs go elsewhere (run away then disable) for N hours, then return. This can be different for various creatures... falmer for example would have you care for the chaurus eggs - place a static version of the chaurus egg harvestable object, and interact with it. Place several (like 12-20 or so) and the PC must "tend" to the egg clusters each, by I dunno, wiping them down with butter or something. Sickness. If a pack member gets sick, they'll need to be healed somehow. Use a spell or healing potion. For low-tech areas (i.e. wolf pack den) can make low-tech variation of an alchemy stand so you can collect ingredients to make healing potions...? New furniture, different model. Mortar and pestle style of thing. Hunt. This only really applies to carnivorous or omnivorous animals. Not the same as "bring me food" but more "join the pack as we hunt" which would require fade to black, then spawning the pack (outdoors probably) and prey animal, then killing prey animal. Hunt ends when prey animal killed, fade to black, back to cave (or master's origin wherever it is), spawn dead prey animal as if the pack brought it to the den. Defend the nest. Useful for any type of creature - skeevers need you to defend the nest against a sabre cat or a couple of humans sent to exterminate (which can result in dialogue and negotiation or just attack). Giants attacked by group of orcs seeking glory. Wolves threatened by invading wolf pack (grey vs. white). Any creature in snowy area under attack by ice wraith. Child care part 2: Babies need to be trained. No, I don't mean sex (although that too ), I mean trained to hunt (PC takes the part of a "prey" the game is to run around, event ends when PC gets bitten or after X amount of time, subsequent training sessions increase child speed). Or maybe they need to be bathed? Bears bathe, right? Maybe not... Other training like "avoid humans they're bad for you" or "see this it is a bear trap and it hurts, watch for them" sort of thing...? Or maybe "games" are just that - play time. Tag is a good game for all animals. Variant on "bring me food" is "bring me important items." A spriggan master (if such a thing is possible without triggering the other bits) might require a bucket of water every now and then, or some fertilizer (have to duplicate+repurpose some vanilla items). Hagravens would require shiny things (gemstones, etc). Help yourself in "bring me food" - some method of stockpiling stuff. Bears like honey, so go get a living beehive (steal the activator) and bring it back to the den, taking minor damage along the way from the angry bees. Once back at the den, place it... somewhere? Hmm... Or maybe if your sabre cat master lives near a pond, stock it with fish by filling a bucket of water, capturing a fish, putting it in the bucket, and bringing it back for later. Free time. This should be relatively common... like, maybe every other event trigger nothing happens. So you can go stockpile stuff, wander, or take care of your own needs. Sex. There's always sex. Learn the language. This is a passive thing - each event that takes place gives you greater understanding of what the animal is saying. For some animals, this will be pretty minor - what starts out as "woof woof" with a dog eventually becomes "woof woof (play time)" but for Falmer it can be an actual language. I think I already talked about this in the SD+ development thread.

(My preference so far) My feeling is that it'd be a pretty damn foolish slavemaster if he/she trusts in his/her slave too much too fast. I'd say it's more reasonable to make them hard to gain and easy to lose. Of course, you could vary this by personality type, race, etc. Not sure how much extra work that would be...

(My preference so far) Don't let the player hang around doing nothing, that's boring. As I see it, the slavery part should be thought in 3 steps: training, living and resignation. At first, the player needs training to understand the new status assigned. To train, the owner should seek shelter or a safe place. During that very first step, there shouldn't be any loses or gain of allowance unless the player is really resisting. Once in a shelter, the owner starts to train the player by giving specific tasks. It is then that the player can earn allowance points, and lose them quickly if the owner doesn't think the player is doing a good enough job. A ratio of 2:1 (2 loss for one gain). Once the training phase is over, the player is still not really broken in but know how to behave to not ot get punished. The gain/lost of points should be of equal ratio, so the player can earn back anything lost during the first phase. It is also still possible for the player to run away or be sold off. Last phase is when the player character is totally broken in slavery. Can't think of doing anything else. The player could be sold for a high prize or be kept as a servant. The player would still get punished if the owner wants to, but tends to ask for forgiveness. Ratio could be 1:2.

I am doing the daily task system precisely to give the player something to do. I have ideas for hopefully interesting tasks but I have to keep them centered on the master, not on a place. Adding support for location based enslavement, like inns or mines, may come someday but I don't have a good idea yet about how to implement that efficiently. It is also a good point to make the 3 phases more distinct. What you described corresponds to what I had in mind when I set up the 6 slavery levels. Level 1-2 would be training. Level 3-4 would be living. Level 5-6 would be resignation (with level 6 being a special sextoy bimbo level). Before I can make the master find shelter, I have to fix the walk outside package. Maybe once I find a solution, I can look into something like what you describe.
