Dramegno Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 I got three questions all with the Flowering Spriggan Quest 1. is this quest supposed to make me bald? 2. is there a bodyslide download for the flowering spriggan, I know that there is one listed in the spriggan armor original mod but since this is just using the assets I have no idea how to implement it in a working fashion. 3. the first time I started this quest (thru CCAS) I was given a sword, bow, and some arrows in theme with the quest but not any of the times I have started the quest, in the same way, have I got them. is that something I need to report here or in CCAS's thread?

First when I get whipped since I have the deadly combat mob it staggers me and breaks the animation i.e me tied to a cross. Is there anyway around this? Now I can turn off staggering in DC but I still get pushed around when hit which when you're tied to a poll that shouldn't move is a little immersion breaking. If there is a fix to that that would be amazing. Secondly I killed my master and he didn't have my stuff on him. According to the PDF if he dies in my vicinity he should have my stuff. Thirdly, and hopefully I'm not an idiot for asking, but how do I get gold for my master or pay off my slavery? Everytime I find gold while enslaved it's immediately removed from my inventory. I've read the pdf and it says get gold but doesn't really explain how that system works (unless I failed at reading comprehension). Also I've gifted my master items that have been put toward the price of freedom, but that's not always the case even with high value items. Draugr enslavement also was rough for me as the conversation options are different, and a lot of options didn't seem to work. For example I would give him gifts which normally would change my master's disposition for each gift given but I was given no notices when I was giving gifts. Also there was no why me option or an equivalent that I noticed my status. I also ran into a bug several times where I couldn't speak to my master. The option was there press E to talk and I could talk to other NPCs just not my master. That said it's only happened twice. Once with a thalmor master and once with a draugr if that makes a difference. Thanks for any help and all the hard work you've done and are doing.
DeepBlueFrog Posted March 14, 2017 Author Posted March 14, 2017 Heads up - I will be moving support for Frostfall to my customized version of SexLab Warmbodies in the next version of SD+ This means: - the SD Frostfall addon will no longer be necessary (one more slot for you in your load order ,,, yay) - SexLab Warmbodies will be required if you care about Frostfall compatibility (one less slot for you in your load order if you don't have Warmbodies already... although seriously you should if you want to survive sexlab mods in the snow). - that will allow me to add Forstfall compatibility patches for my other mods for better cold and wetness detection (Stories, SD+, Parasites, etc) - maintenance will be simplified for me - updates will be easier for you

If there is a fix to that that would be amazing. Don't use that mod, I don't believe there is a "fix". Secondly I killed my master and he didn't have my stuff on him. According to the PDF if he dies in my vicinity he should have my stuff. Sanguine probably got your stuff in his chest. You'll be able to get it back once you visit the dreamworld. Random expensive stuff, like jewels or armors, that you find laying around. Or maybe by stealing? Or even begging... Draugr enslavement also was rough for me as the conversation options are different, and a lot of options didn't seem to work. Also there was no why me option or an equivalent that I noticed my status. I believe draugr falls onto the "creature" enslavement. There are little interactions as of now, will be better with 3.7 and the task system. I also ran into a bug several times where I couldn't speak to my master. Once with a thalmor master and once with a draugr if that makes a difference. Yeah, no idea what's causing it. You can "fix" the issue by opening the console, clicking the owner and disable then enable it. Enter disable then enable. That should "reset" the actor. Be sure to use the latest version of sanguine too. Thanks for any help and all the hard work you've done and are doing.

I don't have a lot of time to mess around with bodyslide. Yes - that would be a question for Content Consumer. I think he adds items to his side of the starting point. If it turns out he removed them to make room for me adding them on SD's side, let me know and I will add that to the list. Edit: The next version of Stories will have a dead spriggan next to where you start as a spriggan, with a bow, some arrows and a sworn (forsworn models, closest things there are to spriggan natural weapons).

Yes - that would be a question for Content Consumer. I think he adds items to his side of the starting point. If it turns out he removed them to make room for me adding them on SD's side, let me know and I will add that to the list. Edit: The next version of Stories will have a dead spriggan next to where you start as a spriggan, with a bow, some arrows and a sworn (forsworn models, closest things there are to spriggan natural weapons). I can't remember off the top of my head which CCAS scenarios add items and which don't. Most do, though - I think only two or three scenarios don't add (and equip) various items. EDIT: CCAS does add a custom sword, bow, and arrows in the spriggan scenario. So starting the spriggan scenario with CCAS will give you those items, while starting it normally would not. Really, the only reason I did it was because I like the look of the Forsworn and Riekling gear and felt it complimented the spriggan aesthetic nicely. I should probably get rid of them, considering that Stories will be duplicating that (sword and bow anyway). Also, @skyrimll, it uses a Sexlab Stories modevent but doesn't it still require SD+? Currently I've got both SD+ and Stories down as requirements, should that only be Stories, or should I bother with messing with it now or wait for a few months until the scenario is moved over to Parasites (and, I'm assuming, with a changed modevent call)?

Eventually, that will be moved to Parasites but I will keep the mod event calls backward compatible, so you won't have to change a thing.

Dramegno Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 I was looking more into the meshes for the spriggan armor in your bsa since the look of it has been bothering me in the game and I found out that in my games that something is wonky with the armor weights and it looks like I have just the spriggancuirass_0.nif being used it doesn't look like the weights are being added at all and/or it is using a different version of the mesh since the armor doesn't change shape at all in regards to the females use cbbe option in the MCM I am assuming that I would need to do a load screen to change the mesh used if it wasn't done auto-magically. Also I noticed for the first time earlier today the spriggan mask on my face when I put on a ragged cap and only a ragged cap out of the hand full of similar items I equipped to further test this, so what could be the cause of the mask to be non-viewable when equipped, I am using a custom race that uses the Breton head as a base with some animated animal ears as an extra head part if that helps out any. Also, the bodyslide download for the armor is located here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12101/? in the optional downloads section, I don't know what all would have to be changed in your mod or in the files provided by the original author of the armor to make it work though. joe_stevens Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 So, your master is supposed to go somewhere right? Not just stand around in the same area doing nothing? According to the github wiki, if the master is outdoors, all personality types should start marching towards a destination. However, it doesn't seem to matter who I wind up a servant of, my master just loiters where I got enslaved. This is a bit problematic if the location I got enslaved doesn't really make a lot of sense, such as being in the middle of the wilderness, or atop a snowy mountain. There is a similar problem with the Simple Slavery connection to SD+. The master never leaves the auction house once they pick you up. Although I think this is because the master is inside, and will just idle there. I believe this is on the Simple Slavery author to fix though.

But yeah, I think it can be improved as in make the owner directly march towards the closest "faction" camp or village. As for SS, the owner wants to leave but is trapped by the idle commands. What should be done is move the player and the owner outside the auction house after purchase.

Try using the surrender key ( / by default ) and use the 3rd option (resist). That should get you unstuck in most situations.

Hey, I recently decided to get my bodslide files for the spriggan armor working with this mod, took me quite a while to figure out how to do it. After downloading a bodyslide conversion, running bodyslide, and locating the updated meshes in your data folder I'd recommend unpacknig the SD+ bsa file into a temporary folder. I used BSAopt to do this but I'm sure there are other programs, I just found it the easiest to use as I don't make mods for skyrim regularly. Anywho, the extracted bsa files well give you an idea of the file structure and file names you need to replace. This is where I ran into a bunch of problems because there are a ton of copies of this armor in many different locations. I ended up just replacing all of them. I use a cbbe body and at first i replaced everything but the files in the _unp folder. I was still running into the same problems I was running into with the base vanilla SD+ mod, the body type was different and the body textures weren't lining up. So, before just giving up, I went to the _unp folder to replace those with my bodyslide conversion. I find it interesting that even though I have the cbbe mesh option enabled in the SD+ MCM menu, the mod seemed to be pulling meshes from a _unp folder. Anywho, that ended up fixing it for me. Now a bit more of a indepth tutorial for how to update the files, after extracting to a temporary folder you need to copy the file structure for the files you want to replace into the skyrim data folder. I eneded up adding a _sd_ subfolder to my meshes folder, a sprigganarmor folder to my _sd_ folder, a female folder to my sprigganarmor folder, and a _cbbe as well as _unp folder to the female folder. So the deepest path looked something like this ...\Skyrim\Data\meshes\_sd_\sprigganarmor\female\_unp. then I placed a copy of my spriggan armor conversion into every subfolder starting with the sprigganarmor folder. You may not need to do this and just place the conversion files in the _unp folder as that's what finally got it working for me. Anyways, hope that helps, I use a 0 weight body but i have the Milk Mod Economy mod that increases breast size and the increased breast size showed up with the new armor so I figure that it will scale correctly to your body too. Worst case you could probably just swap the spriggancuirass_0 and _1 nifs as a temp fix. Also, you don't need to repack these files into a bsa (that's an alternative method which would have you replacing the bsa file) but be warned that loose files with the same name as bsa files will always be used over the bsa files.

I am moving away from a uunp / cbbe folders and only using the main male / female folders instead. I also pointed the armor addons to the _0.nif files instead of _1.nif file to fix the scaling issue.

I came across some important performance fixes for SD+, so I would like to push the update out this weekend at the latest. I currently have two daily tasks implemented - find x amount of food and find valuable items worth x amount of gold. For now, failing to do the task will cost you allowance points / completing the tasks will give you allowance points, but eventually tasks can have greater consequences (punishment scenes or devices, permanent consequences like being sold to Simple Slavery, etc). My question at this point: What would be a good daily task to add for this release? I want to publish the update with 3 tasks to randomly pick from, so at this time I only need one more task. So... what would be a favorite daily challenge you would like to see in SD+?

By the way, the next version will allow you to disable to condition for release if you set the duration slider to the maximum value. There will be a daily 5% chance of being sold to another master if you exceed the maximum duration from the slider and your master is not happy with you.

Or how much does a full cheese wheel counts toward the goal (could be broken into 12 parts)? It would also be nice to know how free the tasks can be, or limited. For instance, can an owner set you free in a city and give you a task? If so, it could be to go shop some wood, or go buy stuff from different merchants and report back. A bandit could tell you to be a bait to rob an NPC (spawned by SD+). Or even to simply cook something with given ingredients. A citizen could ask the player to clean his/her house. Or find some items misplaced in said house. Be a hostess at a party. Actually, for the tasks, the more limited a playground can be the better as there would be less unknown to interfere. Remember that we are supposed to take the task of a slave, which means limited freedom, which means "finding" stuff isn't really our job. However, doing stuff with what the owner give us is totally feasible. Basically, anything that could ease the job of the owner would be fair game. From a farmer point of view, that means free labor to tend the fields. From a tavern's owner, a servant to give customers their drink and more. It depend on the actor, the location and relationship between owner and slave. Anyhow, as general task, you can implement a "please me" which can means different things based on the personality type of the owner. A sadist would go and torture you while a greedy one would play with you nonstop, again, and again, and again, until you pass out. A nihilist would make you depressed with his philosophy, and explain to you that nothing really matters, because that's what they like to do.
way2co0l_2003 Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 I've seen previous reports of people not being able to use the Kneel/crawl feature, but I didn't spot any resolutions to them and I'm currently experiencing the same thing. Pressing the arrow keys causes the prompt to state that I am, but no animation takes place. I am of course running FNIS every time and all that, so not sure what the problem might be or how to correct it. Any advice?

I read somewhere that FNIS Sexy Move has to be installed which I have (latest version and all) but my character is still walking normally when I enable crawl. Of course I ran fnis x) Also: My character tends to kneel instead of standing even when the option for that is disabled. Doesn't bother me that much though.
