Anurabis Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Sooo i accidentaly started SD+ without checking Dawnguard and Dragonborn compability can't fix it cause sd+ breaks if uninstalled but i didn't notice any bugs is there something i should worry about?

They can both use Death Alternative. Defeat uses the Bleedout stage (first stage, where you're on your knees) and then a percentage chance that whoever put you in bleedout will take advantage of you. SD+ uses the Blackout stage (second stage, you fall unconscious) and then a percentage chance that when you wake up you'll be enslaved. Basically, Defeat goes first, if Defeat doesn't trigger then the enemies keep beating the shit out of you until you fall unconscious and then SD+ gets its turn. I don't think there's anything to configure beyond that. It's a pretty simple "if not x then y" thanks to DA.

I usually disable SD's in favour of Defeat's.

Fenderstat Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Mod works geat. no issues so far to do with SD, Sexlab CTD is different though. Regarding Buyouts, I have given over the required amount. Do I wait until three days are up to ask to go and will I be released?

If you do, you need to install Devious devices for Him. I'm playing as a female character, I tried to update my SD from an older version. Everything seems to work but not the equipping of the restraining items.
nooblet123 Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 So... Once you're "enslaved" all you have to do is run to the nearest town/guard post, where the guard disables your collar. If it was a choke collar, guards will kill the owner because the owner teleports to you. Then you loot the master key and you're free.

Personally I'd prefer them to just let you go without permanently altering any faction settings.

Examples of the kind of situations I was curious about: Starting an enslavement with a replacement collar (like the pet collar or DCur collars, or specific DDi collars instead of the random themed collar) Starting an enslavement that forces a specific enslavement personality (forced sadist, forced perverted, ect) Starting an enslavement with alternative start clothing to the rags. Starting an enslavement, either, without resetting the NPC home location (middle of nowhere start) or setting the location manually. I could imagine Enslave() functions that just take arguments with the given objects, I was just curious if any of these exited already, or if there was an easy way to implement them I could use
Jmathers Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 hey guys, i got a question, i'm really confused with this. i installed all the dd & SD+ then i started my game, after about 1h i got defeated, my character got enslaved / got a owner the owner then started going for a walk.. 7hours ago.. we (me and the owner) started of by knife point (north-west of falkreath) he walked around past markath, windhelm, winterhold, solitute, past the Embasy w/e above solitute, pasted marthol, and now he's dragging me down to riften.. is this "going for a walk" going anywhere? as this is boring as hell. he has been zapping me from the start, and my loyaly poll is at this moment at -100 dispite the fact i do what he says. and when i do what he says. he beats the shit out of my character. so? i am asking "HUH??, is that it?"
howboutthis Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 so here is my problem, I've installed SD+ and am able to make it into the dreamworld with all of the Alicia's and sanguine and such, but when i talk to sanguine and he sends me back I get a message that says "after nearly freezing to death you wake up back in sanguine's lap" the only option is to hit "OK" and the message keeps popping back up endlessly. If I am missing something or someone has seen this before I would appreciate any help.

That is usually a sign that you are using the SD Frostfall addon and Frostfall is either not started or just not installed.
Sacremas Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 I'm having some weird issues with Death Alternative not cooperating entirely, when I get knocked into bleedout I just stand there, there's no secondary health bar that appears, and I'm stuck in bleedout phase while everyone around just goes back to normal routines (draugr roaming, bandits going back to idle places), no rapes or other events are starting. Obviously that's stopping any progress on both SD+ and Defeat. I made a papyrus log but nothing appeared from Death Alternative or any of the mods related to it, and no stack dumps that could explain why it wasn't working either. I'm a custom race (Angelic Temptress) vampire via Vampiric Thirst. I've had Death Alternative active in the past successfully. No idea what I'm doing different now.

It is more fun than being restricted to same cell. Of course it would be fun, if the owner would seem to have more important things to do than just wander around, but I don't think it's really in the scope of this mod itself. A dedicated character AI modde might be able to create more complex routines for Skryim character. I hear that isn't that easy and not always performance friendly. I haven't took a stab to it myself, so there is little more I can say about it. The choke collar worked quite well and even pulled my character back to Bard's College, where Viarmo had decided to enslave her. I was actually pleasantly surprised, when I first thought that sneaking trough the second door to freedom would be easy cake. Now she is hanging on the wall and wondering how to get the key from the bard master. SkryimII: thanks for your work. Recent updates have made this mod much more challenging and fun. I still sometimes find it a bit too easy to pick the key from Owners pockets, but sometimes the rate gets quite high. That seems to be the case with Viarmo, who seems to have quite keen senses to notice when my character is trying to flee. Good thing that I had already decided she would join to college, because she might be unable to run away from this one.

If it is not your first enslavement, you can always throw yourself at the mercy of Sanguine and pray your way out of that situation.

They're supposed to be taking you to the locations listed here: https://github.com/MinLL/SDPlus/wiki/ENSLAVEMENT The author has mentioned in the past that it's basically impossible for a code to be written which would distinguish between a "good" and a "bad" place to be enslaved.

Often when Sanguine ports me back to the real world, after a fun filled visit, my toon winds up naked and hands tied in some very cold location. Now since I use Frostfall, long before I can find shelter (hands bound wont let me access inventory), I freeze to death and end up right back in Sanguine's realm. My question is, is this working as expected, is this the sign something is amiss or I am missing something I really should have (if true links are always appreciated). Thanks I'm surprised there has been no response. More info, I do have the Frostfall sections enabled in MMC. There are two that I can see but they give no explanation for what they each do. Is there at least a guide somewhere for what the MCC selections do for the mod? the freezing to death yoyo is getting old.

These menus are there to capture your current submissive or defiant behavior. They also add a pause into sometimes overlapping sexLab scenes and give you a chance to opt out and avoid a crash.
