I have an old problem with the orc .. when I am sent to him the second time I can still say "Hey" to him.

After I have entered Set CDxSlavePropQ1Done to 2  the dialog goes on and I can finish the quest.

Back again in the mine repeats itself after three days however again .. The command
setvalue set CDxSlaveTaskAdjust to 1 is not recognized (unknown variable CDxSlaveTaskAdjust).

 

Which command was that again please to come forward and work in the smithy?

 

 

Edit: Ah I found it, CDxSlaveTaskLvL was on 8, now on 9 it continues.

Hello,

 

first of all, I have no expierience with the Creation Kit nor Papyrus scripts - I just did some fiddling around

and try to make sense of things. I hope this helps somehow.

 

As a reminder: the quest Assist Customer started for me, but Master did not have the dialogue.

 

1) Although the quest started and advanced to stage 50, the global value "CDxAssistActive" was still 0. That was the reason why the Master only had the standard dialogue. I did a "set CDxAssistActive to 1.00" in console, and the dialogue showed up.

 

However:

 

2) In the scene that played, Mr. Tavish did not appear and the scene got stuck.

 

3) Reloading - a  (captured dreams is #3F in my plugin load order) "prid 3f01c2d2" and "moveto player" did not move anything to me. Should have been Mr. Tavish.

 

Because of my inexperience with the tool, I have no idea, where and how  the NPC should have been spawned, nor where the global value should have been set.

 

Hope this helps somewhat in debugging.

 

The quest shouldn't be running as it hasn't been fixed yet as far as I'm aware, but I had it start when speaking to the assistant Nissa.

For some reason even with the quest turned off in the MCM, CDxCustomerAssist01 is running and gets set to stage 20 at some point during early gameplay.

Speaking to Nissa starts the quest but Master has no dialogue for it despite moving to the location where she would have in older versions. Attempting to use setstage to complete the quest is fatal to my game - I am unable to use most furniture (seats, smelters etc.) after this point.

The only resolution was to load a save before speaking to Nissa and using the StopQuest command on it.

 

 

As for customer assist 01 I recommend not using it currently as it has been having various problems starting and there are a number of different reasons is may not start or run properly. A number of different reasons have been reported and my issue has been different from most of them so it seems to be rather unstable though the only thing that changed was the trigger and technically it is simpler than it was before. My issue is that he appears and the session is set up to start (everyone there) but the first phase of the first scene fails to finish, it just stalls out and never continues which is especially odd as that part was never changed between v3 and v4.

 

As for the reason for not being able to sit or use crafting stations it is because it believes you are being spoken to (forcegreet active) and when that happens in most cases you stand up. 

The problem I have with this quest's bug as it stands is it can be quite a while in game before I realise that I have to roll back - I could use forges without any issue, but smelters and the Campfire campfire wouldn't function - the camera would flick to where it should be but the animation and menu wouldn't occur until the action timed out and I was in control again.

 

There's no warning that the quest is about to begin, which would be fine if it worked correctly. I wanted to see what Nissa had for sale and instead her greeting started the quest. Master's forcegreet never actually happens but the game thinks it is, locking out certain furniture irretrievably.

 

Fundamentally though, the quest should reflect the MCM setting; if unchecked the quest shouldn't initiate at all.

 

Everything else that I've come across respects the settings, but CustomerAssist01 does not.

I kept all the load stages so can go back and test with the latest CD version but if it's the same there's not much point. I tend to use CD mainly for the fetch and delivery quests so v3.84 works fine but it may be good to upgrade if it keeps the log clean

The quest is started when the guest control system which controls when guests arrive in the VIP house decides that Tavish should show up. If he does it should have a check to see if the quest should run but it is missing. I am disabling the quest entirely including him showing up at the VIP house until I get things worked out or the quest replaced.

 

Master isn't set to do a force greet but a blocking dialogue initially from stages 20 - 50 but the assistants dialogue is on from stages 20 - 40 and stage 50 is a holding stage, basically just waiting for you to speak to Master. Setting the stage to 990 at that point would reset the quest but I suggest using stopquest on it at this point since it is a quest that is run on startup there is no commands to start the quest if it is stopped.

To remove those, all you need to do is to open those script properties window in CK and click 'OK' not the 'Cancel' (even tho you did not change anything there). This will update CK properties to the corresponding script properties and CK will not try to find the missing properties in the script.

To remove those, all you need to do is to open those script properties window in CK and click 'OK' not the 'Cancel' (even tho you did not change anything there). The script properties in the properties window match the scripts, all of those scripts were rewritten and those properties removed entirely several versions ago and they either have no properties now or have all new properties. I am adding the properties back to the scripts and hopefully that will fix the issues.

 

 

Edit - fixed all but one of them, apparently the property type was not correct so I will have to go look at older versions and see if I can find out what it was originally.

I have uppgraded to 4.09 and the new ESP....

Seeing you later message it looks like you've found the source of the other log errors so I may hold off and put the latest version in if you're releasing a patch soon (I assume fetch and delivery quests are working as per v3.84 as those are what interest me the most).

Most everything works currently except Customer Assist 01 and I am disabling that entirely. I have been going through Chaste Life and there are some issues that need worked out with the furniture. Someone had pointed out that when escorted to furniture the player was not getting into them and I confirmed that, I may have to change the scene and if I can't get it working then make the player enter it manually. With the spouse as the slave she went from furniture to furniture until she decided on what she wanted to use, not sure what was causing that.

 

I am adding the dialogue to purchase new finishes of belts during Chaste Life and they will be available during Chaste Spouse. The CK has been picky about playing with the scripts in the dialogue so it has crashed a few times so I lose progress each time.

I still have to add the plug preferences back in and their use with CD Devices, they are use in a few spots but it references a random script so what you get is entirely random.

 

Overall it is getting closer to the complete release of v4.9.

I think something is wrong with the Manor House Slave Quest.. I'm doing for Markus the tasks now for weeks and it's been a long time since he sent me to Rayani's room. I do four daily tasks in time but in the evening he says to me I should go out of his sight... (why I do not know all 4 tasks were completed in time and correct order). I think he does not like my face?! :P

Should not even the part come that the master wants me to speak?

It's funny, sometimes Markus told me I did a good job and am done for today and sometimes I'm supposed to go out of his sight, even though everything was fulfilled.

I did not look up, but I think those days had not counted, but no matter how a slave life is not easy ;)

 

Do you know what I would be interested in the story.. why I am put at all to Rayani in the room? I can not do anything with her? :s  :D 

 

..and rather a more important question.. where are all my things before the enslavement, the chest in the room in the one Markus is empty^^

It's the sixth time i try to play proprty slave but it just bugs

i like that quest marked items cant be removed.

 

my characters master, serana via deviously enslaved, wants me to thank you for making her lovely necklace (dcl slave collar) not removable.

If you had sweeping twice the way it is set up it will only count it once so it technically thinks you didn't finish a task.

 

Sleeping in Rayani's room was not finished as I wanted it to be just as spending time with her or Ariasha, the were rather rushed.

 

The items are stored in a chest under the floor of the room you are given at the start.
