My symptoms have been: punishment scenes get stopped, devices do not get unequipped, etc. I have tried to minimize my mod loadout to eliminate conflicts with other mods as much as possible pretty much down to deviously cursed loot, captured dreams and their requirements. Attached is my papyrus log that I captured before the punishment scene froze and the master just said "well thats disappointing" and just walks away. Any guidance on what is going wrong with my setup and how I can fix it would be much appreciated. Â Â Â Papyrus.0.log

As it seems to me, your chosen animations freeze, like face etc. Â The updates of DDa, DDx and DDi also brought me nothing good. It can also be due to a small error in the installation and already some devices are not created for you. If necessary, manually insert everything, with me that helped. Â Of course, a new game can help if you should use an old save. Â Important is the Zaz and Sexlab in the MCM Menu is registered. If you use other animations, then the error can be synonymous with those.
CuriouslyMods Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Hey I'm back just to give a status report. Resetting player idle did in fact fix the issue. I've run into a few other issues of the scene freezing, but all of them are solved by resetting player idle. Thank you for the help troubleshooting.

Â But should not normally be that you have to use this option in the MCM menu frequently. Maybe one or two times at most with smaller bugs. Â Other mods and / or an improper installation of loverslab or zaz can disturb the animations very strongly or crash. Â I know what I'm talking about, I did not have them like this before, and it ended with crashes and more.

Â Make sure you have the most recent versions of CD, there were a number of updates in it that bring it in line with the new DD versions though in a few quests there still may be independent commands that have not been updated so CD Quest items are not removed. Â Also, if you are using the latest version of ZAP by t.ara some animations may not be set correctly and just stall in place. The issue is with the tags that they may still be set to not end. If you are bound and it just stops use the Player Idle Reset function in the CD MCM menu and see if that lets it continue. Â I can see where you met the bandits because of XPMSE errors after that there are a number of errors from Cursed Loot and Creature Framework. After that it looks like you reloaded a save and it ends out with a few more Creature Framework errors. The point that you were at is the transition point between the Delivery Quest and Punishment Quest startup and it is possible that the errors kept the startup from beginning it or possibly finishing it though there are no CD errors from the quest. The startup of the quest has to set aliases in it and then figure out your punishments before it continues, it is basic for the most part but a number of errors successively can cause papyrus issues. It is a possibility that the errors are letting her move away and for the force greet that starts her dialogue to not begin though it is set so she should come to the player. I will add an additional phase and AI package that will move the Master to the player prior to the force greet and hopefully that will fix the issue people have with it not starting properly. Â Overall, there should be few mods that conflict with CD but the thing that will is if another mod tries to take over during a scene as mine are set to pause. If the other mod never relinquishes control and gets stuck then CD will also stay stuck. The most common is ones that start sex scenes, if they happen you will likely have control of your character again but will need to disable them in the MCM menu for the CD scene to finish.

Â Â From what it looks like the slider for the chance to happen is not being used by the calculation on if it should run, I will fix this and make some other adjustments to the chance of it going off.
Veladarius Posted May 7, 2017 Author Posted May 7, 2017 Ok, I have just played through the second Embassy quest and other than device issues it worked perfectly for me. It looks like I will have to go over the devices being used for both Embassy quests so they are removed properly when they are supposed to. I am getting much closer to finishing v4.9, just have some things to add and one or two more quests to look over. The Embassy quests were my biggest worries but they ran smooth other than the devices. Â

Â Â That's true! The Master also takes keys to himself. That works perfectly!

You will be able to set your preference in the MCM menu and they should be used whenever preferred items are used. Much of it is in place or I have various parts stored on a blank script so I can make adjustments then copy/paste where I need to. The MCM menu part is already there but disabled as it originally did not want to work even though it was set up correctly (of course it started working once I disabled it everywhere else).

Â I won't be using those or most of the other new plugs in DD. I have placed some filters on the random selection functions but I believe there is one or two that I missed doing. The plugs used/selectable will be the standard DD plugs as well as the CD plugs. For the most part I am looking to block the use of the more extreme devices that were added.

Â So my question is: Now that the debt is paid off, when do the CD items get removed? Â Tried asking the Master about it, was first told it would cost extra (even though she was the one who put them on), and then informed that she wasn't wearing anything the Master would remove. Is there a time limit, or is something bugged in my game?

When the bandits took the package, i just returned to the shop and i believe this should stop the quest, but the items won't come off. You have to search and kill the bandits, and finish the delivery. Not entirely sure if it's a bug or feature.

I can confirm that this can happen as I experienced it today so I will be looking into the scripts to make sure that they are using the new removal mechanic. You can try using the MCM menu command to remove CD devices and see if that works otherwise try the Free Me option in Cursed Loot as it may be an issue with the device placed on you. Â If neither of these work let me know and I can tell you how to remove them manually via console. Â Just for my reference, what items were placed on you that you can't remove? I will make sure they have the proper keywords.

CD Chastity Belt Padded Open Silver CD Collar - Black Leather  Long version of the story works like this: I've had no interactions with CDS in this game other than to see about getting some DD items removed.  The first time I came in with one item I wanted removed, and Master claimed to find a bunch of them, and wanted 4900 gold. (Not sure if this was just for my character, or for her follower as well.)  I declined, and continued my game. After Cursed Loot put her into a large group of high security restraints (and a long string of other attempts to remove it), I went back and decided to see how much it would cost to have them removed. This time, it was closer to 30,000 gold.  I ultimately decided to resolve the situation with a cheat, and used CL's safeword to remove all of the items. I did, however, want to be able to use CDS to remove items in the future, so, to test it, I threw one DD item on and asked to pay to have it removed.  Once again, a bunch of items I didn't actually have were "found," and I was asked for 4900 gold. I paid what I had, and was given the belt and collar to wear until the rest was paid off. I paid the remaining balance...and was left wearing the belt and collar.  The only option in dialogue was to ask to have them removed. This time around, the list of items were completely correct, but Master flat out refused to remove the two items.

This time around, the list of items were completely correct, but Master flat out refused to remove the two items.   Some items can trigger multiple detections depending on the keywords they have as some items have multiple keywords as they do multiple things.  As for cost, Cursed Loot items have a higher multiplier than standard items and the cost goes up per level of your character so it can get quite expensive. I am looking to make the scripts for detecting the devices more efficient and possibly change the cost structure as well.  She won't remove CD items as she has usually put them there for a reason. Assuming I want to experience the beta 4.09, which files do I need?  If you are on v4.8 you need v4.09 and the extra esp which fixes Confiscation.  For a full install it would be v4.05 -> 4.09 -> extra esp and let it overwrite as it goes. If you have issues with odd text then install the LESP file then 4.09 then the extra esp.

That's what I was confused about; didn't know if that was supposed to happen or not.
