I was wondering if there was a way to make this spell less of a "cheat" spell, and some what more immersive as an actual spell. For example: 1. Change the cast type to be similar to the healing spell, instead of the projectile 2. Have the spell, while casting on a target, drain both magicka and stamina, simulating the effects of deteriorating both physical and mental strength. 3. Once both magicka and stamina are reduced to 0, the puppet spell takes effect and the npc is now under your control. 4. perhaps also increase the limit of puppet npc you can control with higher level spell type ie, novice puppet, master puppet, ect. Is there a way to do at least 1-3 solely in the creation kit without additional scripting?

I think you need to use the dialogue option "I need you to do something for me" under the [Puppet] menu option. Then you can order them to do actions like sit, chop wood, ect. I know it works on non-unique npcs in a custom player home, but vanilla furniture. I'm not so sure if it works on custom furniture though.
Fredas Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 - When using the 'sex' option on a dead body, it kinda resurrect the NPC and the NPC moans and acts like it was alive with some arms and breathing movements but the good thing is there is just one animation sequence triggered : the cowgirl one... so this functionality is good but should be improved... in Defeat for example the body doesn't move much and there is no moaning... which is more immersive and realistic, imho. I and some others were discussing this earlier. I had suggested that what would need to be done on the animation front would be to create a version of the animation which lacks the data normally sent to the head and limbs (or find a way to force animation playback to ignore said data) and allow the Havok engine to have control over those parts as normal. The torso would still be subject to the animation so as to maintain compatibility with the active actor. I still feel this is the best way to achieve the desired effect. My understanding is that no animation can be made to play on an NPC which the game considers dead, so the solution to that would be to resurrect them for the duration (like it currently does) but in a paralyzed / unconscious state, which I know can be done. The moaning should be trivial to fix.

There are voices and un-equip clothes, but nothing more. I have Ultimate Follower Overhaul and Animated Prostitution (uninstalled via NMM for testing Puppet Master). Please, help.

More dialogue options also, in particular vampire dialogues. Also would be great to have option to turn puppets into cattle.

Mod still works, author may return to an active role here sometime later but his contributions to the game as a whole also include the Papyrus Util mod which makes a major sea change in how mods can store data for items within the game and it will still probably be a year or more yet before most modders start to take advantage of the capabilities he provided.

Fredas Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Currently I'm attempting to fix the bug in this mod where the Arrok Lesbian animation is calling stage 1 rather than the intended stage 2. It hinges upon determining how to force SexLab to begin with stage 2. I already tried just replacing the entire sslThreadModel process with simple debug.sendanimationevent calls, and while this does cause the correct animations to play, the overall effect is incongruous and unsatisfactory since it's bypassing SexLab altogether. I don't know if this part of PuppetMaster has ever actually worked as intended, but it certainly does not currently. Once I have that sorted out, I have other plans, such as some cross-compatibility with PrivateNeeds and/or iNeed. I have already slapped together an add-on which uses extra sounds to enhance the "something else in mind" subcategory. I call it "Pupper Master Swallow".
Tdoogity Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I have multiple character saves and the mod works well on some of them. But my main character save has no puppet spells. I get the MCM menu, and yes, the 'add spells to player' option is checked, but still no in-game spells. I did 'help puppet' in the console but it only gives some of the group spells, not the main puppet spell that I need. Again, it works well in my other save games, but not my main one. I stopped scripts, waited, uninstalled it , saved & exited, reinstalled it, loaded & saved and waited, blah blah blah, but nothing changed. Any ideas?

You actually need to check a SexLab animation of course. PM won't play any animation as long as you haven't checked at least one sex animation in SexLab (and it should be a normal one, not a threesome when you actually command your puppet for a twosome). Same for masturbation animations. On topic: This mod is awesome and very stable, no conflicts with other mods and AFT so far. I wanted to get rid of Private Needs (as great this mod is, it is very script heavy because of its permanent checks and me seems it has compatibility issues, I think at least with SexLab Squirt). PM is a mod that at last uses almost the complete Zaz Animation Pack. PM misses one option, a possibility that my puppet spanks my player char (and maybe even uses the tools I equip her, Zaz cane, crops etc.). You might be able to achieve a similar effect by getting a puppet, leading the puppet to a place where no other NPCs are around, give them a Zaz tool (and remove all other weapons) and let the puppet go berserk by the alignment adjustments, but it's rather complicated and time consuming.

I spelled many animals and NPC's and had not problem afterwards. So you have to check the other mods. (I also have latest SL, latest SKESE, latest ZAZ)

If it's the problem I'm thinking of, changing your equipped weapon/spell, then hitting R once or twice will fix it.

So as long as I remember to do that it shouldn't be a problem! - using console commands sometimes might really damage your game if not being cautious. ***"Warning: Use console commands with caution! It is easily possible to mess up your game if you modify settings at the console. Even if short term the game functions normally, you may later discover that you have made it impossible to complete a quest and therefore you cannot proceed normally with game play; fixing that problem can then make new glitches pop up elsewhere" *** quote taken from official Skyrim page. That happened to me when I had a player level 87. Oh, God, how I hate this.
