Spoiler Especially how Elisif the Fair eventually succumbs to Balazar's prowess over her husband, nice twist! One issue I had was that (in 3rd person view) I became invisible when entering Elisif's bedroom at the end -- was that intended or a glitch?

Glad you liked it. No. Invisibility not intended. There's nothing special about entering her bedroom. Elisif has a typical force greet package, but there's no code affecting the PC or the area in general. It's just the standard vanilla Blue Palace room. All I did was swap out the four-poster bed for a noble bed without the posts. (PCs get stuck inside the four-poster beds after sex.) 1

Spoiler Also, I thought the cuckolding of the Jarl by Balazar was a cool story twist; but even though Elifir mentions how "big" Balazar is, he is not rendered as such -- maybe this is due to the SOS mod? I think SOS randomly assigns a size? Is there a way to mod Balazar so he is actually always rendered big ? edit: it was SOS; I could select Balazar ("N") and in the menu for SOS change the size from 5 to 20 -- looks dremora lord sized now 🙂 Edited November 25, 2024 by Xhalia

I have updated the version and load with the earlier save. The door did work now but there is a problem. One of the NPC, Corwen still not following my PC into the cell and I believe this is the cause of other problems I encountered I mentioned in my previous post. If my PC leave the cell and with Corwen, the quest scene is working. But when my PC return back to embassy, the scene is not working due to absence of Corwen.

So, you'd have to reload a save before you got to the Thalmor Embassy area Another workaround for someone who faces vanilla door instead of modded ones (which are in previous versions a bit sunken in the building's wall - by a frames length I would say) is to: -- toggle clipping off, -- strafe a bit inside the building, thru vanilla door - just enough to "key required" tooltip on crosshair be replaced with something/anything else, meaning it is pointing at right door -- click that, to enter embassy regarding "disabling" - I've tried that too, but from my experience, (quite often) objects crucial for currently running quests (including actors) are immune to that (no idea what kind of protections is in action here - is it from vanilla engine or one of SKSE's hack'em plugins), probably disable/enable works but not after loading object/cell/whatever.

Garfieldcat Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 (edited) I have a bit of an issue. While on the Solitude quest, I got the signet and moved to Oblivion with Balazar. Got the book, got banged by the hentai monsters and came at the last fish-like monster. The pop-up came up, no sex was initiated (probably missing animation - had that with the huge golem as well) and after that I figured I'll just click the book the return to Solitude. It moved me to the town, but Balazar isn't there with me and the quest still shows find a way back to Solitude. Any ideas? A script to complete it maybe (although it says it's the last stage of that quest so, not sure how to trigger it as complete and then start the next bit). Thank you in advance! Nevermind! Figured it was Balazar Solitude Quest 3 and managed to move the quest past the non-banging monster Edited November 25, 2024 by Garfieldcat

Any idea why this is happening? I have animations for a horse and in a normal situation, animations are launched through other mods. The problem is that the character saddles a horse with the same key. And instead of running a sex animation, the character just saddles a horse. The quest does not continue because of this. The default action of the "E" (Activate) button on a horse is to mount it, but this particular horse has a script attached that blocks the default activation and adds its own code to run on activation. My guess is that you have a horse mod that is overriding this script. Are you running any horse mods?

You are ordered to return to the cage on quest stage 120 and the next quest stage, where you are locked in the cage, is quest stage 130. Are you running True Directional Movement?

I am running True Directional Movement , I have the setting turned off for stop on direction change. Is there something else I should turn off?

Is Corwen following you? There's at least three places in the dialogue where she will stop following you due to dialogue choices. She is optional in that you can choose to leave her behind, if you want. Is she following you after the conversation with the door guard? Under what conditions is the quest working?

There was a safeguard against this in the code, but I will add a second one in the next version to be sure.

Sometimes it's just bad luck. The guards are trying to get to particular spots and sometime a random NPC will get in their way and make them freeze up.

I don't remember that any other mods influenced the behavior of horses. I have a lot of combat mods that could possibly have influenced something. Also, your mod is located at the very bottom of the download and on top of the other mods. I'm not sure. *This horse became my main one and it began to appear in the stables. Just to add, it would be nicer if those guards would not carry a shield as that looks strange during the whipping animation (and perhaps no helmets as well).

All the conversation with guard outside the door is working fine and when my PC enter the embassy, Corwen is not following. When my PC go out again, the dialogue with Corwen about meeting her father start, but my PC and Corwen is outside the embassy. Basically for me, the problems start when my PC enter the embassy. None of the scene working intended. Only after my PC being sent to prison then the scene start to work properly.

Doors my look identical but they lead/teleport to rather different (copy of) reality.
