germanicus Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 One tip about this mod - if you hired Serana as prostitute and you are running Cairn soul task, you would be able to enter into Cairn soul world. You have to dismiss her first as prostitute, otherwise she will not open the portal and you can't finish the task. No console command helps if you do not dismiss her first. That was the reason? I was racking my brain trying to figure out why she wouldn't continue the quest. It all makes sense, of course; the AI package that this mod assigns to prostitutes may take precedence over the AI packages of other quests. I'll note that in the descriptions page until I can figure out a good way to fix this. I have a bug, it was in 1.6.7 and now in 1.7 When i pick female NPC, and try to pimp her(myself) with other NPC there is dialog, all is ok, NPC runs to my female NPC and... they just stand there and look around. No animations start. But, if i start dialog with pimped NPC and client and cut dialog with "TAB" in short time, they start animations. Same goes with Pimped NPC looking for clients on her own. She picks up client NPC then they stand untill i "quick talk" with them, then they start. i tried Resetting mod, setting other load order, nothing helped. EDIT: Ok i got it, it was all about dialog without sound stuff... "Fuz Ro Doh" mod fixed it. And i think "optional" is not good term if stuff like this happends. Thank you for informing me of this. I wouldn't have expected that the behavior was a result of an absence of audio files. I'll certainly rewrite the Description page to this effect. Yes, TDF, that was the reason. I lost hours to figure out why she doesn't want to open the portal. Used all possible console command on the net until, out of despair I dismissed her as prostitute. Then she immediately open the portal.
Khurm Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 oh, and there is some strange animation pick mechanism. At SLFramework i had to turn off restriction of Agressive animations to be only at agressive situations cuz when it came to pimpin there ware just... 5-6 of them (from pool of about 50). With SL Agressive off i have all of them now. Dont know if it is bad flag on some animations or SLFramework or this mod related. My mod uses the StartSex() command to begin all of the sex animation. Use of this command literally lets the Framework do all of the work, from which slots to strip to which animations to use to how long the animations should play. So, this is most likely an issue with the Framework. Comments on this thread as well as others have led me to believe that there are some occasional bugs related to the StartSex() command, and that a thread-based approach would help to reduce these bugs, but I just don't have the commitment to learn how to use threads. Yes, i was thinking that was Framework stuff. But as i observed it was constant, as if animations had bad flag marking them as agressive. Or... no flag at all as "normal", since SL Framework dont have Normal animations submenu, just Forplay and Aggresive(and menu to enable anim. to use it at all). So some animations (triangle) dont have"normal" flag ? i actually dont know how this works in scripts but... it looks like just like it to me.

So some animations (triangle) dont have"normal" flag ? i actually dont know how this works in scripts but... it looks like just like it to me. To be more honest and accurate, even using the StartSex() command, my scripts do (to a degree) choose which animations are valid. Specifically, with the exception of a couple scripts, all of them choose animations by the GetAnimationsByType() command. Here, depending on the gender of the prostitute and the client, I just fill in the number of participants and the number of males/females involved. Additionally, I have also set the "aggressive" boolean to false in most of the scripts, which would disallows the selection of aggressive animations. Essentially, this means that I am allowing the Framework to find appropriate animations based on the gender and number of participants, and then limiting that list to animations that are not marked as aggressive. If what you are experiencing is inconsistent with the configurations you have made to the Framework, perhaps there is some sort of issue with the installation of this mod or of the Framework.
volfin Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 yes I noticed this mod became kind of 'ridgid' about what animations it allows, especially if you are a female having sex with other females. it would only pick female on female animations, not understanding a woman can use a strapon ;p I ended up modding it so it chooses from any two person animations for female on female. This gives a much wider selection of positions.
NicoleDragoness Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Hmm, that's a bit strange. Or, maybe, I'm not understanding well the problem. When a client says "I'm one who prefer to watch" the animations choosen between me (female) and my pimped prostitute (female) are randomly from ALL available animations, as I set them in the SexLab Framework MCM. So, I think it's not right that this mod chooses only female-female animations for FF actions. Am I wrong?
TheDriedFinger Posted November 18, 2013 Author Posted November 18, 2013 @Khurm: I was sitting in class and I realized that perhaps you were right. If you've been following this thread for long enough, you'll realize that I sometimes reject an assertion on the basis that I've never experienced it myself, not because I'm being particularly defensive of the mod. Then, after a bit of reflection, I realize my error and I that I was being inattentive to what was really going on. After reading volfin's post, I realize that while the script is theoretically sound, the way that animations have been tagged by the Framework explains the symptoms that you (as well as I) have been experiencing. So, I'd like to apologize for being so dismissive. @NicoleDragoness: The scripts used for female/female interactions only allows the selection of non-aggressive animations marked as appropriate for female/female scenes. Though I haven't looked at the way the Framework has dealt with this, I can say that I am experiencing the same symptoms as Khurm. If you are not experiencing this, may I ask what configurations you have made?
NicoleDragoness Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Configuration of what? SexLab Framework or your mod or both? About the Framework, I've set "restrict aggressive animations", never use beds (because it makes some strange things when inside two or more stories buildings), use malenudesuit, not use foreplay, use creatures, set my own hotkeys, set my own timings, set normal sex full naked, set rape sex partially naked, left out some voices, set random voice for PC, left voice and sounds timings as default, no undress animations, yes cum (180 seconds), no female cum, allow female strapons, allow hotkeys for aggressive, automatic advance of stages. Normal animations: I left out some of them I don't like but I left in the lesbian, zipLesbian (or whatever is called). Left out tribadism and aggressive ziplesbianrape. The two threesomes are set as "normal" only. Male and female masturbations are set as "normal" only. In fact, I have really few animations set as "aggressive", mainly because I no longer use Rape mods (like Defeat or SD) because I had serious problems with them. If you need more infos, I'm glad to help.
TheDriedFinger Posted November 18, 2013 Author Posted November 18, 2013 @Khurm: From what I perceive as relevant to the issue in NicoleDragoness' report, perhaps, setting fewer animations as aggressive might allow more animations to be used by this mod.
magicrealm Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 there is one thing i will ever avoid : having sex Animation dialogues always at every npc i meet. some mods share this taste and Switch to spells or create a specialised dibella amulet you have to wear to start dialogues to appear. i wish this mod would do that, so i could use it. but with up to 4 new dialogues, Player + 3 prostitutes to offer, with no choice to avoid them to appear, this mod is nothing for me, sorry.

That really does not make a lot of sense if you've actually tried out the mod, unless of course you're put off by the persistent dialogue for male PC prostitution. On the other hand, the NPC prostitution dialogue only appears if you've got three prostitutes in your employ. It can be removed if you just dismiss them. I mean, if you've got them following you for that purpose, it's only logical that you ought to be able to offer them to anyone you encounter. I just don't understand where the complaint is coming from. Maybe I could understand if you really liked Niruin's Business Plan; it only adds one universal dialogue option that deals with the PC and the PC's prostitutes, but at the cost of literally having no control over who would participate in the animations. If you've been following this file, you'd realize that I made it clear that control over NPC activity is a huge part of the reason this mod exists, and the current implementation is the only decent way (as I see it) to do it.
NicoleDragoness Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Maybe, if I understood well, he's only a bit bored to have these dialogue lines permanently. Could be. Sometimes, with all the sex-by-dialogue mods I have, I find some difficulties too to search the right dialogue line I need. Of course, this is not MY criticism about this mod. I love it!
volfin Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Thanks for 1.71 update. The changes are very apparent.
NicoleDragoness Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 This post is only to bring TDF on the first page. It deserve this!
WaxenFigure Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 This post is only to bring TDF on the first page. It deserve this! What a wonderful thing to realize, we now have enough mods for Sexlab that they don't all fit on one page.
tomcat456 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 will it work without Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS?
nameless701 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 will it work without Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS? You need FNIS for this Mod.
tomcat456 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 will it work without Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS? You need FNIS for this Mod. but I can't download from nexus...
tomcat456 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Can somebody just upload the whole set? So I don't have to keep crashing my Skyrim and search for files. Please~
NicoleDragoness Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Permission problems. No one is allowed to upload an Author's creation on a different site and, mainly, without the specific permission of the Author itself.
tomcat456 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 then the Author please upload what its Requirements and eveything it needs to 1 folder please~~~~I'm begging you. its really hard for me,cause I don't know anything about folders, so I hope can the Author uploading eveything in 1 folder. So it could be easy for everybody
nameless701 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 You can it download from Nexus manual only (Serverproblems) Than you start the NMM and install FNIS from your PC

So it could be easy for everybody Any sexlab mod that makes use of the animations will require FNIS. That's why it's listed as a requirement in the Sexlab framework download itself. And Fores' already said he doesn't want FNIS uploaded anywhere else, to help prevent people from using outdated versions of his program.

I, and any other modder for that matter, cannot simply package this mod and its requirements in one bundle without proper permissions. Beyond that even, to do so would be a detriment to the user because they would miss out on updates from those other mods if I didn't constantly update that package. Just be patient with the Nexus' servers. If your issue is with installation, from what I can tell, all requirements (except for SKSE) are Nexus Mod Manager-friendly, so you don't have to do any real work there. One more thing: on any thread, please refrain from making consecutive posts. There is an "Edit" button.

NicoleDragoness Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Hello TDF. Maybe I found a little issue. When you ask to a client (whatever npc) who is sitting into a chair, normally he/she will not follow you after. (The option to "Take care ... " goes in place, indeed). Could be a problem with the absolutely idiot priority that the fools Bethesda's Guys placed on the annoying sandboxes?
