Each of the hired hookers is managed by a quest and any time your PC acts as a hooker a quest handling that transaction is started. If something happens to a client you can stop the quest to release the client lock and get a new client. Sometimes also useful if the client is stuck following you but can't be told "here's a good spot" to start the SL scene

No. This, in my opinion, is one of the most egregious flaws in Skyrim. You can get an NPC's BaseID via the Help command, but that's only good for a couple of the console commands- most of the ones we need to use from time to time require the RefID- which, as KarlPaws said, is not obtainable for non-unique NPCs without being close enough to them to click on them in the console. Your best bet is to get the QuestID of the relevant quest (you may have to use SSEEdit to find this) and use console commands to stop it, then save and use Resaver to clean the script remnants out of your Savegame.

I've had the opposite happen - an NPC following me all over Skyrim until I realised why it was happening. Is there not a 'timed-out' type thing with the script? As an alternative to Vyxenne's suggestion - get the quest ID and setstage to completion.

There isn't always that much forethought put into a mod, especially one as old as this. I think a timeout can happen but it might be more of a "check, time passed, check time passed, too much, end" kinda thing. 4 hours ago, Grey Cloud said: As an alternative to Vyxenne's suggestion - get the quest ID and setstage to completion. 38 minutes ago, Vyxenne said: Lol, I thought that was what I said... Yeah either Stop Quest or Setstage would work I think. I don't think script cleaning is needed since it isn't script based but dialog tree / global variable / quest stage based.

The SQV <questname> command will show you the Actor Alias value set for the NPC which will be the ID you need.

Tinkering Solderbro Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Some things are hmm cute, guess.... My new prostitute in training got the command "Look nice and see for yourself". Now she engage to the male manequins in the house. As long you stay in the room nothing else happens, but if you leave the cell it will be done. After that her arousal is down and the manequin stucks in the floor. So yes it's better to keep fresh prostitutes on "i find new clients for you" mode to prevent such happening:-)

And which mod would that be? I'm getting really annoyed to Mannequins reacting to TDF and SL Aroused (and other SL-related) mod events. Especially, they should be completely removed from the "hello event", which some mods use to initiate certain dialogues for example between NPCs.

It should be part of your basic troubleshooting kit.
BurnTyre2 Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 NVM, just going to add them to the SexLabForbiddenfaction, and that's it. Thanks, folks!
Ioe123 Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 Hi guys. After updating to the last version, I noticed that girls appointed to work in the cities or custom locations stopped interracting with customers. They pay, if they asked, but I dont see any sex scene or dialog. What can be causing it and how to fix it? Thanx.

So if you set a girl to work a town, leave and come back a week later she will have x amount of money. Come back 2 weeks later and she will have 2x. Sometimes if you stick around you will see her dash off to collar a punter "You look like you could use some company".

While you were staying aside you could see a few anumations triggered by them. I wonder what have changed and how to get it to the previous state...

I don't know what your problem is as it works correctly for me. How long have you waited around for something to happen and have you tried going off for a day or two and then coming back?

As far as I know, once you assign them and leave them alone to work, they don't actually do scenes constantly as they did in older versions of the mod. When you show up to collect your money, the Independent Prostitutes mod calculates some amount of gold based on your fee settings in the MCM and the amount of time since your last visit and just pays it to you, doing a Jedi Mind Trick to make you think the girl is actually paying it to you. It's good to see that it's working.

Most times when I set them to working they will work. When I come back, sometimes they will turn tricks and sometimes they won't. Note: When they will automatically turn tricks can depend on the time of day too. I believe it has to be evening or night.
leequiring Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 I'm having an issue with prostitutes in White Run. One of them always seems to get stuck standing on the left side of my Breezehome bed with her trick, but they do nothing and she can't be enticed away. They stay there forever. How can I stop the scenario by console commands, and free her to be moved elsewhere?

If the issue is that an animation is stuck, you might try using the SexLab "Stop all running animations" button in the MCM.

But if there is no running animation, what then? They are simply standing. I can talk to both, and even get a "dismiss" dialog with her. It doesn't work. I've even used the Combat Sex shout on them both, which only left them stationary in new positions in the room (and me feeling soiled from raping a man!).
