quick question; was thinking of starting a new character but wanted to know first how does the mod as a whole work with werewolves? do all the chastity items get removed as normal and will it break the quests/future quests? Wanted to find out before going to the trouble of becoming one

 

I have not seen any problems and I usually play as one or the other.

No idea, actually. I've never tested the werewolf / vampire lord transformations. Someone try that, and let me know how it works.

 

 

Gave my character werewolf beast form and transformed.

I still had chastity quest after reverting back and the devices still show as equipped in the menu but my character was totally naked. Rezoning or waiting didn't reshow them.

If I dropped an item it dropped a duplicate and the original then shows up on character again

If I activate the devices I get the usual open/force/leave etc options and then they reappear.

 

 

That's my experience with wolf transform. It works but with a few issues for me.

 

Also had an issue on another character trying it were I got the options again and the items reappeared on my character but I then somehow unequipped the devices fully. I was able to drop them and put them on and off at will but all the while my character wore them even when they wasn't in inventory

Alright, thanks for the report: I'm not making any more significant changes to 2.5.6, since it's being released later today. I'll make a note to fix that for future releases, though.

New version is up: v2.6.0 (Was originally going to be 2.5.6, but a fair number of features crept in to this):

  • Now uses Expression Presets from Sexlab 1.3 (And the MFG skse plugin) for better vibration effects.
  • Fixed several item duplication bugs (The old FTM-Patch, as well as several other fixes).
  • Added NPC support for the events/effects system.
  • Fixed auto-walk issue during animations.
  • Disabled the in-development Surreptitious Streets for curious players that had enabled the quest.
  • Disabled vibration-effects entirely while in combat for Hardcore-Off players.
  • Several other small bugfixes.
  • Fixed Vibration-Weak effect for existing plugs (Default Soulgem plugs)
  • Added new functions to API: EnableEventProcessing() / DisableEventProcessing().
  • Fixed desynchronization issue.
  • Fixed dragonborn boat-scene issue.
  • Added new item - Armbinder. Be wary of this rather restrictive item, for once it is equipped, you will find escape to be very hard without help!
  • Enhanced sexlab animations filter.
  • Added new spells to remotely activate plugs that others are wearing.
  • Added new key creation difficulty setting: Medium. Requires one malachite bar.
  • Expanded vibration function to better support multiple actors.
  • Other small bugfixes / tweaks / additions that I am probably forgetting to list here.
 
Upgrade Instructions:
  • Download Assets v2.6. Make sure you grab this, or the new items won't work correctly in your game.
  • Extract / install normally, selecting "Replace" if using ModOrganizer.
  • Run FNIS. This version features new animations.
  • Have fun!

Hey! Glad to see the new update going up! I do have a question though...

Being the clueless, prone-to-break-things person that I am... when you say (in the updating instructions) to Install normally/Replace if using Mod Organizer (I'm installing SexLab content manually just for consistency, as some stuff won't do well with NMM), how does that translate to upgrading both Assets and Integration if you're doing it manually? Just unpack and replace files? or uninstall and re-install?

 

Sorry about the dumb questions! just wanna make sure everything runs smoothly and prevent even more questions down the line :P

That's what I normally do and it works but before uninstalling the mod make sure you are not wearing the belt or other restraints..

or else DAH DAH DAHHHHH! <--- really I dont know but I would not try it :D

You should be fine just copy/replacing over existing files and continuing your existing save-game. You're likely to see a few errors in your logs (A couple properties removed inbetween versions), though after saving / reloading it should be smooth sailing. I do try to keep things backwards compatible.

Edit: Oh, you should probably change the Assets version number under the Requirements for Integration. It's one version behind still :)

Okay. I just gave it all a test run and this is what I've found so far. Mind you, I'm not sure if some of these things it's me doing something wrong, something is wrong with the update (not likely lol) or maybe that's just how things are:

 

1) I replaced all the files for both Assets and Integration, ran FNIS, fired up Skyrim, saved and reloaded as suggested. Then immediately headed for the Devious Devices shop to try and get the new gear but couldn't find it. Although come to think of it, the shop mod wasn't updated yet so it makes sense it's not there yet lol <_< I'll still leave this point up if anything just to show how I "updated" personally :P though feel free to ignore it for the most part xD

 

2) The Armbinder's standing animation seems to have a tiny bit delay at the beginning and the end of it of sorts. For example when I'm standing completely still, aka playing the Armbinder's standing animation, and then I walk/run forward the custom animation takes a tiny bit to "stop" and move on to the walking/running animations, resulting in me walking/running a few feet with the standing animation still playing, as if I had roller blades or something xD

 

3) The Armbinder's straps that go around the character's chest aren't coming completely around the body, resulting in the straps sort of going -through- the body towards the back (I'm using the UNPB version and my character's body -is- UNPB as well).

 

4) It doesn't seem like there are any special/specific animations to play during sex scenes while the Armbinder is on; it's either have SexLab remove the hands slot or have the character using the Armbinder animate for a couple of seconds and then going back to the custom standing animation each time a new stage of the sex scene kicks in.

 

5) When I was using the console to give myself the Armbinder I noticed there is an Armbinder quest, I think? though when I put it on no quest triggered. I imagine it had to be something similar to the Chastity Belt's quest that triggers when you put it on?

 

All of this said, everything seems to be working fine :D aside from those minor things pointed out up there, and I'm not 100% sure where I should be posting this lol so apologies in advance. I'll delete and repost the whole thing in another thread if necessary!

 

 

P.S.: The only reason I'm mentioning the animation's delay is because I used to make a lot of animations using QAvimator for Second Life, and when making/uploading/using those animations, the animator could tweak the delay at the beginning and the end, making it say, have the animation take longer for it to "morph" into whatever next animation is attempting to override it, or simply end. 

Now again, I've no idea about Skyrim modding, so not sure if any of this even applies here, but that's why I mentioned it :P in the off chance that there may be a tweak to correct the timing.

1) Shop hasn't updated yet, like you said.

2) Known 'issue' (Not really an issue, just the way it works). Takes the scripts a moment to catch up when you start moving (Though, it shouldn't be much time: I'm watching for movement key input, and immediately replaying the idle to avoid having to wait for the periodic idle update).

3) Assets problem. I don't use the UNP stuff myself, no idea. Try asking about that one over in the assets thread.

4) Yeah, we need dedicated animations before the armbinder will be supported in sex scenes, given the nature of the device. Just leave stripping of hands enabled.

5) The armbinder quest is a container for scripts / etc. There's some dialogue associated with the armbinder (You can ask people around you for help: Their willingness to help you will differ depending on their relationship with you).

 

No worries! I realize that the DD family has sprawled a bit. Integration is for all issues / comments  concerns with the devices / their interactions with the world. Assets is for graphical effects pertaining to the devices (The clipping issue, for example). Zadil's a graphics guy, I'm a programmer. Neither of us can help you with issues relating to the other's domain, :P

 

I didn't make any of the animations used by this mod (Thanks Zaz-Chris!), though from what I understand, skyrim animations are much more restricted than Second Life's. The delay you're seeing is a short script delay, while the game switches from the standing pose to the offset animation for moving around.

I can answer a few things on this:

1- I am working on finishing up a few items for the shop and it should be updated soon.

4- There have not been any sex animations for the armbinder as of yet

5- The quest is used as a controller for the armbinder, same as the belts

 

Several of us have been furiously testing (and breaking) things pretty much all day so there should be very few issues.

Oh okay :D Apologies if what I posted came out ungrateful, because I certainly am -grateful- that you guys made this and put a lot of effort into it :D

I guess the only "real" issue I can see from my impressions is the animation delays; taking a little bit to stop in lieu of the forward motion animations. 

 

Edit: Ops, ninja'd by Min :P I guess there are -no- issues to be corrected or tweaked then :D The delay isn't all that bad. It's a tiny bit distracting but I can see myself getting used to it like I've had to for many other things in Skyrim :P

I just had another thing that popped to mind see if you guys could answer it. Is there any way I could "purchase" the bondage furniture to use it myself/on my followers? Asking because I seem to recall reading in one of the threads that it should be possible. Maybe I'm thinking of something else entirely or perhaps they were referring to the -possibility- of such thing actually being a thing.

Bondage Furniture isn't something added by this mod.

I have a patch to add it to the sellable items with the Captured Dreams shop

Just found an issue with Captured Dream Shops 1.2 and MO. Captured Dream Shop overrides some of the scripts of Devious Devices, and they are not compatible with the new version of Devious Devices. If you give it a higher priority than Devious Devices in MO, then plugs and restraints cannot be unequipped anymore (and events also seem to not appear anymore). So people using MO should pay attention to give Devious Devices a higher priority until a new version of Captured Dream Shop is available.

 

Edit: Also Angrim Apprentice overrides scripts from Devious Devices. I wonder what this mods were overridding.

All of the main files for the Devious Devices family are actually in BOSS and sorted correctly, so I just ran that and it kept such things from happening.
