As far as I can tell, the rope harness (without the legbinder) isn't actually in the mod at all. The meshes are there, built by bodyslide, but they aren't used in DDx.

That's a pity. it could be even cooler with a full rope set like those of ebonite and leather. cuff or something else.

Thank for information.

Maybe try the special edition version instead?

Because this is the thread for Legendary Edition... And is not SSE compatible.

Yes. Install the appropiate version that fits your version of Skyrim. Which would be SE, it seems.

I have an issue that hopefully someone can help me with. I've got this installed and now my character always walks like the hobbling dress is on or hopping. I've started with a new character and have no idea what is going on. I've run FNIS and matched the clothing with bodyslide. I've tried reinstalling the mod and nothing seems to be fixing this.

I've had this happen when wearing the armbinder then getting it removed but the arms stay in that postition. Try sprinting around. Worst thing you need to do is start a new character with no mods and install them after Helgem.

FNIS doesn't actually clear the meshes folder before it starts doing its work. So if you're using Mod Organizer at least, you may need to periodically empty the meshes\ folder in Overwrite. Garbage from other mods can remain and cause problems. Of course removing your main meshes\ would be a terrible idea with NMM, it would break your install.

Example of problems i've seen before include creatures or even draugr that stay in T-pose. Uninstalled some mod but leftover animations propably relied on skeletons that no longer existed. Just saying because nobody talks about importance of cleaning FNIS. Back then i didn't even need to clean my save or anything, just sort those files out and everything worked.

I checked the overwrite folder in mod organizer and there isn't anything in it. This is a semi new character and I'll just try starting with a fresh character and see what happens. Thanks anyways!

Posted

If you are not using FNIS's file redirection (with MO2 for example), it changes some files inside the original fnis installation folder besides the overwrite folder.

So it might be worth trying a fresh reinstall of FNIS and generating FNIS.

Restarting the computer is always worth trying with strange problems too, skyrim's memory handling is crazy. I had this issue just recently where armbinders had yoke animations and vice versa consistently, and it just went away from one day to the next with - afaik - no skyrim related changes at all, so I assume the computer restart must have been the thing that solved it, but I have several previous experiences with Skyrim too when something seemingly got stuck in memory or what, and a computer restart fixed it.

There might be a few other things to try, but it's hard to guess not being there in person, Skyrim has lots of crazy shenanigans.

Looking for some help here.

Everytime I install Devious Devices Integration 4.1, then run FNIS, the run animation of my character changes to some kind of bound, "hopping" animation.  The walking animation with shift key is also affected.   The only way to get rid of this is to uninstall DDI, and run FNIS again.   sprinting is not affected.   It appears that DDI is overwriting the base running animation files?  I understand if it wants to change the running animation during a bondage animation scene, but why is it doing this during base, vanilla, gameplay?  I attached a short video to show the problem.  It turns out that several of the npc's/followers are also suffering from this animation problem during regular game play.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you..

Update!!  Ok, so I fixed this issue.  If anyone else out there is experiencing the same problem, for me it had to do with the FNIS Sexy Move mod, and the 360 Move animation mod.  The solution to fix this for me was to go into FNIS Sexy Move via MCM and uncheck the 360 Move option.  Exit out of the mcm menu.  Then you can go back into FNIS SExy Move and reenable the 360 Move option.  Hope this helps others..

Just quoting this to make sure others can find the solution for this issue!  I had it too and it fixed it.

TBH, this could be a DCL line, not vanilla DD, but either way, it's a Kimy thing so ...

When an NPC says "I don't know who put that gag on you, but..." (or something very similar) it is frequently inappropriate and immersion breaking.

Quite often, it is an NPC who knows exactly who put the gag on you - because they did it - and they are your slave master (from many mods: SD+/DF/XDFF).

(Or it's an NPC who just added it via DCL comment reactions, either way ... they know very well where the gag came from).

When your slave master says this, it really breaks the suspension of disbelief.

Could this gag-talk info be swapped to something "safer", and more generic, like...

"I like the look of that gag on you. It must be painful with your jaw stretched like that? Perfect for keeping you quiet ... and in your proper place."

This would work whether it's your master, or just some random NPC who likes a gagged Dragonborn.

Though there are a whole range of gag-talk dialogues that have similar issues...

"Why are you wearing a gag? Can't you just remove it?"

"Whoever put that gag on you did a good job..."

And all that kind of thing. There are very few of the NPC remarks relating to gags that make sense coming from the NPC that fitted the gag in the first place.

I made a forum post with a download link for DDi-4.1.

Also in addition to the other help you've gotten, turn off the "Gender Specific Animations" because you don't have any.  You should not check options for mods you don't have.

it seems like I've been having some problem. After I log in to the game, My character walks very strangely and does not appear to wear any device. Could you give me help? I built the thing in Body2 and also loaded animation from Fins, i have no idea why its not working.

I know we're expected to build the gear with the Bodyslide, but they aren't showing up in the list. I see DDA and DDX for Assets and Expansion, but not DDI nor anything else that resembles it. I did reload Bodyslide after installing all three.

Only DDa and DDx has any models, DDi is only for scripts/implementation.

Thanks!

If your using the DD mods as a requirement for other mods make sure that it is compatible with DDI 4.2. I had this problem with SlaveRun reloaded where it wouldn't see the 4.2 version and doesn't start.

Thanks for that extra tid bit. I had to back off the mods to get Skyrim to load into game. I'm wondering if that is why.

I’m not sure if anyone else has had a similar problem so if this is has been answered I apologise but has anyone else found that at random times this mod causes CTD or is just me.

any help given is appreciated??

Everybody has had "random" CTDs in Skyrim.

They are caused in 98% by roughly 2 handfuls of reasons and mostly it is not a single mod but an ill combination of mods and game settings .

Now, the question is what makes you believe it is DDi ?

A few more details might help to understand what you are talking about.

And in case you intend to dive deeper into your CTDs you may take this

What makes me think it’s this it’s DDI is that my game works fine until I install this and random points And i get CDT and I had the same problem a while ago.

By a few more details shall I just share my mod list??
