Devious Devices - Integration 4.3a (2019-09-10)

i'm using DD with SD, but everytime they slave me or punish me, all the items are getting removed but the plugs; i've unchecked all the slots in sexlab for Extra equipped items, checked the Limited removal on SD, but it stills unequip everything.

i need to manually pickpocket someone around, going to my inventory and shift-equip the belt, but it will be removed the next very time i will have sex with the master.

some clues on what i'm doing wrong?

Looks like you're running an old version of SKSE, that lacks GetNumItems. If you update SKSE, you shouldn't have further problems. SD is throwing the same errors.

quite strange, because i use the 1.6.16 rel 44 (stated in the ingame menu); for being safe, i just reinstalled from the .exe installer and still the same problem.

for now i unchecked in the mcm Sexlab everything on the normal/foreplay/aggressive timers & strip under the EXTRA armor part, on both sides. (was the right thing to do? )

if i use limited removal on SD the item just unequip, instead if i uncheck it the belt will be dropped on the ground while i'm technically wearing one: on both the cases i was "wearing" the items in the inventory (checking from reverse-pickpocketing) but none of the DD items was showing off.

No more script errors in the log, so reinstalling / updating skse did indeed solve a problem, if not the problem you're reporting. It sounds like SD is dropping the rendered belt on the ground, upon it entering your inventory. It's been quite a while since I've looked at SD's code, though I do remember it containing logic to do that. I don't have SD installed at the moment to test (In favor of using the No Death Mod ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29312 ) to handle player death), though I'll probably redownload it later / give it a whirl. I assume the belt functions properly outside of SD for you? Does it survive a player.removeallitems, outside of SD?

I had met the problem like "" An error has occured with your installation of devious device. Please check the log for more information. Error Texte : zaddFordiddenTomeQuest. Failed to start" once. and I found one of the reason leads to this problem is the task of DLC dragonborn.

I use two game save to trigger the quest.One save hadn't start the task of DLC dragonborn.The other had completed all task of DLC dragonborn.

First save  succeed and the second failed.I use the esp version is 2.53. I hope this reply will help the author.Thanks for the awesome mod.

Hmm. I suspect that there may have just been insufficent uncleared dwemer dungeons left in your game (Though, the quest requires only one uncleared). All the same, thanks for the report.

Ridding my save of scripts and re-installing has worked great and fixed a host of issues--many I wasn't aware of until they were gone.  Devious Devices working exactly as its supposed to so far.  Also no longer getting random belt and plug spawn near followers as I was before.  

 

Great MOD and thank you for helping me figure out what was happening with Papyrus.  After playing for 4 hours last night with no crash, no CTD, no freeze, the Papyrus log was only 2 Mb.

Am I missing something? I have all of the requirements, made sure everything is in the correct load order but when I equip any of the items, nothing happens. It doesn't appear on my character it just does absolutely nothing. Also apparently there is supposed to be an MCM menu for this mod, yet I don't have any MCM menu.

so i'm fairly certain i've got everything installed right, the bookshelf is there, the urag belting scene works fine, ect. but i'm getting no dialogue from Urag or Zed. my dialogue options come up, but they just silently stare at me for a long time. now i'm not expecting voice acting or anything, but shouldn't there at least be text from them?

Indeed there should be! This mod contains quite a bit of high-quality dialogue. Do you have subtitles enabled?

Yeah, I neglected to update the displayed in-game version for 2.5.X. You can safely ignore that.

There are several through-out the quest, yeah.

Good.  I read  in a post somewhere that "..." as a response meant mod conflict somewhere.  Always have it as an option now in all dialog but not sure what mod its from.  May be Lover's Comfort and place holder for dialog if character has a spouse.  I don't yet.  If you click it in dialog, the NPC response is "uh, no..."  but I have no idea what the question was.

 

Anyway, I found an oddity.  Don't think its a bug but maybe an incompatibility.  If wearing a belt and in the quest and you use a SKUI group hotkey to undress the character, it removes everything including belts and restraints.  Afterwards it seems to break the quest from completing and the belt and plugs do not automatically re-equip.  Loaded an earlier save and disabled the "undress before group use" option and the quest completed as it supposed to

for now i unchecked in the mcm Sexlab everything on the normal/foreplay/aggressive timers & strip under the EXTRA armor part, on both sides. (was the right thing to do? )

if i use limited removal on SD the item just unequip, instead if i uncheck it the belt will be dropped on the ground while i'm technically wearing one: on both the cases i was "wearing" the items in the inventory (checking from reverse-pickpocketing) but none of the DD items was showing off.

No more script errors in the log, so reinstalling / updating skse did indeed solve a problem, if not the problem you're reporting. It sounds like SD is dropping the rendered belt on the ground, upon it entering your inventory. It's been quite a while since I've looked at SD's code, though I do remember it containing logic to do that. I don't have SD installed at the moment to test (In favor of using the No Death Mod ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29312 ) to handle player death), though I'll probably redownload it later / give it a whirl. I assume the belt functions properly outside of SD for you? Does it survive a player.removeallitems, outside of SD?

Good.  I read  in a post somewhere that "..." as a response meant mod conflict somewhere.  Always have it as an option now in all dialog but not sure what mod its from.  May be Lover's Comfort and place holder for dialog if character has a spouse.  I don't yet.  If you click it in dialog, the NPC response is "uh, no..."  but I have no idea what the question was.

 

Anyway, I found an oddity.  Don't think its a bug but maybe an incompatibility.  If wearing a belt and in the quest and you use a SKUI group hotkey to undress the character, it removes everything including belts and restraints.  Afterwards it seems to break the quest from completing and the belt and plugs do not automatically re-equip.  Loaded an earlier save and disabled the "undress before group use" option and the quest completed as it supposed to

 

This mod will not cause any dialogue to display outside of the trees spoken by urag/zed. If you're seeing "..."'s in dialogue elsewhere, it's not from this mod. "Uh, no..." isn't dialogue used/provided by this mod, either.

 

SkyUI is probably iterating equipment slots, and thus is bypassing the scripted inventory item. I wonder if that happens with the changes I've made in my latest version. I'll take a look. If it's still persisting with the changes in my latest version, I'll need to make a change or two to fix that incompatibility (Though fix it I shall). Thanks for the report.

Yeah, figured. It's dropping the rendered item upon re-equip. I'll try to think of a way to work around that.

so i'm fairly certain i've got everything installed right, the bookshelf is there, the urag belting scene works fine, ect. but i'm getting no dialogue from Urag or Zed. my dialogue options come up, but they just silently stare at me for a long time. now i'm not expecting voice acting or anything, but shouldn't there at least be text from them?

 

Indeed there should be! This mod contains quite a bit of high-quality dialogue. Do you have subtitles enabled?

yes, until you get the belt off your arousal will not go down. You don't get off until the belt does.
