Krazyone Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 The dynamo that I got is ODD CENTURION DYNAMO CORE, it has a different icon than the other two. The other two odd items have a metal ingot icon, whilst the odd dynamo has a white box icon. I watched a playthrough on you-tube and the person playing picked up the same object with the same icon. I have a feeling that I had the object before the quest, but its telling me its a quest item. The map display isn't there anyhow, it just disappeared when I got the other two odd items. I could have done with a reset quest option in the MCM, that would reset all the quests and objects. As well as the description telling me exactly what to look for, I overlooked the quest items the first time through the dungeon, thinking they were just junk and what I wanted was on a level below it...

Unfortunately several game breaking bugs are resulting from my install of this mod. 1. Originally I had looted the forbidden books and then left without talking to the librarian orc. I then progressed the "retrieve 3 books" quest for the college but when I run back to the Orc he will not talk to me at all. Don't even get the option to talk to him. I tried uninstalling this mod but the orc still will not talk to me. Too bad I had progressed 5 levels between leaving and returning to find this bug..../sigh 2. Loaded up a old save (loosing those levels sucked) and this time let myself get caught and chained. He sends me out after Zed, long story short I go to the first place and the quest updates with him not being there, suggests I go to Kagrenzel. I get to Kagrenzel and don't see him but because of some mobs I trained through I quickly zoned into Kagrenzel. When I zone out the is no longer a marker here and I never found Zed. I can now NOT find Zed or Spawn Zed through the console commands. Nota, he's not there and I'm stuck in this belt. The concept of this Mod is amazing, I've a feeling I probably was supposed to finish the college questline and started the DLC's or something (maybe beat the game?) before starting this quest, but because I started this first I've lost day's worth of game time and I'm still right where I started. Should I also be looking in the DLC's to find Zed?

I had trouble finding Zed, it was my sword that found him. I was hacking a camp full of bandits in a dwemer ruin to bits, and one of them wouldn't die, despite repeated attempts to seperate him from his limbs with my two handed Daedric sword. I got suspicious and checked his name and it was Zed, he wasn't happy and wouldn't talk to me for some time. I had the same problem as you with the librarian, in that he wouldn't talk to me, but went out adventuring for a few hours and when I returned he was more talkative... My problem is getting one of the quest items to work, as I posted a few posts up...

Should I also be looking in the DLC's to find Zed? did you go look in soltheim, his location is random to any Dwarven ruin, so that includes the dwarven ruins in Soltheim A lot of people make a save just befor getting the book, and if the 3 places are not on the main map or they can not find zed, they go back to the save, and try again.

Going to take the advice of the first page and reload and check those 3 spot's until I find him I guess lol. As far as the Orc Liberian not talking to me and not advancing the mage questline...so you are saying if I continue playing he will eventually start talking to me again? I just don't want to invest anymore time in that Save if this mod and me not talking to him when I looted the books permanently broke him...

I don't know... he just decided to talk to me, I also talked to everyone in the room in the hope of getting him to talk. I done an unrelated quest and when I came back he talked to me... Check out this playthrough I found on Youtube, it actually tells you what you're looking for as well, But Zed's location is randomly picked from a few Dwemer ruins, this shows one of them...
Arthacs Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 After installing the latest Expansion 1.11, the non-Ebonite harness collar turns invisible (ebonite version works fine). When I equip it it will still give that roleplay window that says locking collar around my neck, and the locking scripts all work fine, but the object simply is not visible. When I wear the non-Ebonite harness (which is supposed to contain the harness collar), the harness shows up but the collar is still invisible. Does anyone know how to fix this? I just tested this. Uninstalled expansion (as well as captured dreams + male addon because these two need DD expansion), and the regular harness collar shows up again. Moment I install expansion it disappears again. Can someone please check this? It's not Expansion, because i know it makes no changes to any DDa content (this is by design), and i can't reproduce the problem (both the standalone leather harness collar and the one attached to the leather harness itself show up for me, i doubled checked it before posting this). Something else must be going wrong, though i am unsure what that could be.. a dirty edit from another plugin perhabs? Have you tried with only DDa/DDi/Expansion installed? No males addon and no CD or anything else? ------------------------------------- Devious Devices Male Addon v1.2b gave me invisible custom harness, untikking it in nmm fixed it.

I was in the middle of the quest after resting a bunch of times to get my arousal up and I noticed that I only had primitive plugs in instead of soulgem ones. Since Sergius put the wrong plugs in me, I will never "Charge" the plugs like he wants me to and I have absolutely no way to get out of this damn belt because there is no key for it and forcing it open fails every time. I'm unable to load a game because my autosaves got overwritten by all the waiting for arousal. Is there some way I can get myself out of this with the console or something? Maybe force the game to at least swap the plugs so I can complete the quest? This is really ruining my game =(

This quest is quite simple. 1) Set "polling interval" = 1 hour. 2) Start quest at night, when Sergius sleeps in his bed (this is important, if you don't want to follow him at all times) 3) If your character have arousal = 100, plug will be charged soon enough (approximately 1 day, it will be night again) P.S. Sorry, my English is bad.

Vengarr Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I wasn't sure what to think when I saw this mod first appear in LL, but I realized recently that I've been playing with it for well over 50 hours now. So the decision appears to have been made--I have to say that I like it, and would like to see it become even better. I have a few suggestions about escaping DD items without keys. Currently, it's just a flat percentage chance to escape based on your skill level. This can be set to whatever flat percent chance you want, and the default chance means you basically have to be a master to have even a tiny chance of escape. However, once you reach that skill cutoff all you need to do is hammer away at the device until you succeed. There's a small reduction of stamina/magicka for a failed attempt, but by the time you reach that level it's not enough to deter you at all. I would suggest instead making the chance to escape dynamic based on the overall level of the PC and their current arousal level. For instance, a 20% base chance (determined by whatever your skilllevel is in lockpick/alteration/etc) minus 1% for every 5 points of arousal. This would make it quite plausible to escape if you have a clear head, but perfectly impossible if your mind is clouded. And because failed attempts at escape already raise your arousal level, spamming long-shot escape attempts would quickly put you in an even deeper hole. This could be further expanded by altering the base escape chance per belt/restraint. A simple iron belt might be easy to escape if you have your wits about you, something more elaborate like the CD belts might pose a more significant challenge, and god help you if you get stuck in something truly devious like Aradia's Last Defense. Scripting in Bethesda games is basically sorcery to me, so I'm not sure how realistic this is, but it would be a neat thing to differentiate the different restraints by more than just color. The final suggestion would be to add a magical effect that lets oral sex slightly reduce arousal once you hit the "I need to have sex" level, after you've given enough head to become used to it. This would let you reduce your arousal to the point where you have an outside chance of escape. I really liked the Chastised story that was in the Forbidden Section of the library, and how in desperation the protagonist starts blowing everyone she meets. Since the chastity belts lock you into oral animations anyway, this would be a good way of keeping the animations from getting tiresome since you're getting something out of it rather than sighing and mashing spacebar. And I love the idea of getting so horny that you have to blow the whole town to calm yourself down.

Hi, strikemasterz. ZAP is the Zaz Animation Pack here. It's one of the devious devices requirements so you should already have it installed. You just need to go to the Zaz MCM and click the option to register its animations with SexLab and you should be all set.

Devious Devices - Integration.esm causes Elder Scrolls to be invisible in my hands if I try to read them. It's only a graphical issue, the game still works fine, but I was wondering if there is a way I could fix this? Clarification - I tried to narrow down the problem by disabling most of my mods. Disabling everything except official content / unofficial patches / SkyUI fixes the problem. Toggling the masters back on made the problem reappear. With trial and error I managed to narrow it down to Integration, even though that doesn't really make sense... Update: I somehow fixed the problem by uninstalling all DD mods, cleaning the save, then reinstalling all of them again.

That sometimes messes things up for me... it will look like the bra is gone, even removed from the inventory, but its effects remain. Have you tried putting the bra back on and then off again? Or... You can always re-set the nodes in racemenu.

The compatibility patches are for Realistic Needs And Diseases as well as iNeed. The reason for the request is because when items (oral) which bock this it doesn't.

You can always re-set the nodes in racemenu. Nope, I didn't have more than one. It was the one from the quest built into DD, the one started in the Arcanium of the college. It doesn't use normal keys so if I put it on I won't be able to get it off again since I already finished the quest. Quick edit.. Sometimes when the bra comes off the breasts go back to normal, then shortly thereafter go flat again.

You might try using Skyrim Bound's function to remove all gear... http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1076-skyrim-bound/ That should work to fix everything. Just make sure you don't have anything in your inventory when you use it (quest items should be fine). As for the quest itself, once you get the belt/plugs off you could try adding the correct items through the console and seeing if it works then... If nothing else is working, I'm afraid you may be out of luck... Sorry, but many (most?) of the mods on this site are in progress. Even when a mod is declared "finished" there will almost certainly be incremental little updates and bugfixes. For those of us who like to test mods, installing and uninstalling and trying different combinations, well... I create a new character just about every other day. I know that's not a big help, especially if you've got a save you've put a great deal of time and effort into, but it's all I can offer... Sorry that this mod didn't work out for you, but it really sounds like a one-time bug... if you try it again on a new game I'm sure it will work.
