Make sure to disable "lock MCM when bound" option, that way you can use it to remove buggy DD in emergency.

 

From what you said about multi-lock thing, it's likely a DD from it's sister mod, Cursed Loot. Make sure to also disable them in Cursed Loot menu too. If you don't want to use MCM for removal there's DD Escape Overhaul mod.

i dont believe that you have no issues. you dont see them as issue. When your pc gets an 48 hours timelocked  chastity belt you think that is funny and part of dd. But it is gamebreaking for those who dont like to have this 48 hours item. there is no option and no way to get this item off.   Reloading old save is the only way. 

you should check your showinventory in console to look how much crap you and your followers are carrying around.

It also sounds like you are using either a really old release of dd or you have a mod that breaks devices.

Then in Solitude, a 100% sucess chance for i m not in the mood for that 20 or more pepole asked. 

Now whats that ? you know what people would say to that in freespeech,, which isnt here.

Not in the mood = not aroused. There's a setting for that in "General" Tab, make sure it's very low or just 1 if you want 100% success chance.

That unfortunately has been how it works with DDs; every device basically come with another invisible one in your inventory that's handling the script stuff (2013 arcane codes, nuff said). If you want an alternative there's Toys and Love, while that one may not have the baggage of decade+ old code it also don't have near as much supported mod (as in, that mod will actually interact with the devices rather than just ignoring it's existence; Toys won't cause issues with most mods here).

That unfortunately has been how it works with DDs; every device basically come with another invisible one in your inventory that's handling the script stuff (2013 arcane codes, nuff said). Pardon my question. But is there any kind of guidance about how to trigger certain events. I get the "Free use" events all the time but haven't seen any of the others. Thanks for your time and apologies if I missed it somewhere in this thread

I can't be absolutely certain this mod is at fault, but since I installed it my character goes into the "struggle to free yourself" animation every few steps when I'm wearing any devices. Like, I literally, I take a a couple of steps and it starts again. Does anyone else have this issue?

Struggle animations do play during certain events, but I'm fairly sure events from my mod don't play that often! Post a log and we might know if DIN is the culprit or not.

 

Also, do you happen to have some OAR idle replacer that makes the character play a struggle animation, by chance?

I do have that. Can it be causing the issue? I think I have a mod that requires it, but I can't remember which one it is.

I honestly never do this...but I'm curious. Have you ever considered adding a theft option to the strip feature? When they take your clothes/armor, they leave with it?

I never make suggestions but this is my favorite mod so just chatting Granted I have no idea about any kind of programming or any of this stuff, just thought it was a cool idea? Thanks for listening.

Just to confirm: what you are experiencing is struggling animations playing outside of DD struggle events. When you press a key, your character can move, but standing still causes struggle animations to kick in?

I have considered a gear theft dialogue event (like the key and gold theft events), however I felt NPCs having the potential to make off with some custom enchanted armor or whatnot is a bit too much - so I'm leaning towards limiting that to consumables and the like.

 

Are you thinking when the player drops her gear during a Stripping event (when the drop gear option is ticked), then the gear would have a chance to be stolen or what exactly?

That sort of thing can be fun with low-value items (perhaps a gold cost condition check), but it would really hurt to have your highly tempered Daedric armor or highly enchanted magic robe stolen.  For that matter, even losing your only armor of any quality could be a real setback.  Stealing clothes could work well if you routinely wear "town clothes" that don't cost too much, but the temptation then would be to carry several spares (they don't weigh much), so the loss becomes just a minor inconvenience.

It says there's a whole lot of missing files, but I can't make sense of what I need to install to fix that.  And yes the moment I stop, a strruggle animation starts and I can't move untill it has played out.

Oh yay! I Just worry cause I don't want to appear ungracious for all the work you've clearly already put in.

That's sort of what I was thinking, I think it adds a lot to the dynamic of objectifying the character, but that's totally just an opinion. If you check Bane's version of Sexlab Defeat, I believe he has an option set up in it that allows you to choose whether the NPC steals your armor, clothes, or gold in the MCM. I don't know if that's one of the, "I can steal the code" from him or not. Attaching the link below.

I believe Bane's SL defeat has a configurable MCM for it

That's actually kind of amazing. You are getting the animations because you are always "winning" the roll to start these events, but they never go into cooldown???? That's mostly on me because I need to put in more safeguards, but do tell me what values you have set for your Arousal Threshold, Arousal Multiplier and Max Number of Restraints Worn options, as well as the Self Bondage, Masturbation, Stripping and Free Use cooldown timers!
