Is this really a "beginner" list? I just want to have sex mods and not 2000 mods adding ants or changing grass color.

Any simpler guide?

There is no requirement for you to install all the mods. You do not have to have sex with the ants and wipe your ass on all the grass. Just install the core mods and the sex mods you want. It is a bit overwhelming but if you take a step back you can see what I just said. I would have loved to have this when I started ( that damn dinosaur just stepped on my computer) back in the day. We had to search and search for everything. So bottom line yes this is a beginner list for it lets them choose beginner to advanced.

Categories: Required mods and updates except for the dyndolod and other lod stuff, SkSE category, Much of the user interface stuff (Some preference mods such as fonts can be ignored), Meshes category, Physics category, Most of the PC category (lots of preference there), Gameplay Anatomy Category, Sex Mods (there is much more available than what is listed here, Preference), Final category except for LOD stuff. You do not need the DynDLod stuff to play. Your sex mods will be to your prefernce. Even a lot of stuff here can be pruned to play a simple version of Skyrim but whats listed will make playing more enjoyable and stable. My current iteration has a lot of 2k and some 4k stuff without the DynDlod installed. I have played with DYNDLOD on a lesser machine and ascetically it makes a big difference. My current machine is a power house and will be able to handle this list at the 4k level but it takes some time to download all these files. Probably a month for me with real life interfering. The people I know that have this list publish pictures say its night and day when you can feel all the different types of grass flowing in the wind and tickling your perfectly shaped ass.

I've been working on a fresh install of Skyrim for two months now – essentially switching from SE (1.5.97) to AE (1.6.1170).

This guide is essentially serving as inspiration – I'm not installing all of the suggested quest mods or equipment.

In the Vampire section, the use of "Better Vampire" is recommended.

I've been using the underground city mod by the same author for years – but I've always had problems with the actual Vampire framework.

Unfortunately, it's not working this time either!

Not using BV Script (GlobalVariable=666)
Other mods which affect the VampireFeed perk or PlayerVampireQuest script will interfere, check your load order

Since I use "Vortex" as my mod manager, I've now installed "Loot" separately and let it sort the plugins.

Yes - BV is pretty far back/bottom... the only ones further back/bottom are LAL and its additions (including the LAL launch of "Coldhaven").

What else is important under/behind BV?

- "Circle of Lust" ... the mod author himself recommends using BV - he has quite a few things related to Vampire in his mod.

- "Children of Lilith"

- SDA Patch Hub

- Race Compatibility Dialog

- NFF (Nethers Follower Framework)

I also asked the author for help in the Nexus forum... but maybe there is someone here on Loverslab who can give me a hint.

What is the total animations variations count stated by the FNIS/NEMESIS/or PANDORA?

If it is more than 32000 the that the CTD, likely at the title screen before menu appears.  That could be an OAR CTD because of more than 32k animations.  If crashing in some areas, could be broken NAVmesh issues, because CK make it easier for mod authors to break those.  Try Navigator - Navmesh Fixes all-in-one option.

Combining HUD mods may cause issues if some features overlap.  Using SMP physics may cause crash with some smp-hairs combined with smp-wigs and maybe smp-armors, or NPC with SMP armors, latest version of faster-hdt-SMP have some fixes for that.

Replace Trainwreck with Crash Logger SSE AE VR (more info than trainwreck) and copy the log info into Phostwood's Skyrim Crash Log Analyzer for hints.

Maybe also post the new log here, and if you find the fix, post that too.

the main problem is that the mods are rather particular as to where they need to be in the load order. The authors intend is to build the list with the load order in mind. using LOOT fucks that up. So dont use loot because it will most likely screw up the intended and tested order.

Vortex has is issues too.

Both reasons are why the author tells you in the first post to use MO2 and never loot.

Well, I've since switched to MO2 AND definitely don't use "loot" anymore.

"Better Vampire" is a very, very sensitive mod - it's second to last... only NFF is even more "capricious" - hence its last place.

But then it actually works.

I'm currently rebuilding my installation using MO2.

However, I encountered a problem while installing the race menu system.

Yes - the face is extremely "wrinkled"... it's basically the "zero" setting - here, the Nord race

-

Some characters (NPCs) in the game also look accordingly

Spoiler

ScreenShot0.jpg.df734792dd28f650e014d9c92784ab6d.jpg

If I load a present with the "zero" setting, it is also "wrinkled."

If, on the other hand, I use one of the present presets available for the vanilla game, the face is smooth... except for this "scar."

Now load a present - it is normal... so the skin is "smooth."

ScreenShot4.jpg.48eedd1a016b6c3ab2d11a1b23895101.jpg

These problems occurred with the installation of the "Fair Skin Complexion" mod.

From the "left side" of MO2, I can see that this mod interacts with cbbe and 3ba, respectively... thus overriding them.

But something isn't right... because there's another interaction with the "Better Teeth for Human Race" mod... this is now listed BEFORE "Fair Skin."

"Tintmask" ???

Yes - I've solved it with the following mods:

a) Female Makeup Suite

b) Community Overlays 2

c) Community Overlay 3

So either "something" is missing... or it's there, but it's in the wrong place in the "left list."

:flushed:

I'm puzzled about the balanced ENB option (NAT.ENB Weather, Silent Horizon 2 and Cabbage ENB).

For Cabbage ENB I have to choose between LUX, ELFX and Windows Shadow RT option, but this modlist rely on Skyrim is Luminous, which is not compatible with any of them.

All of the currently listed ENB presets (Pi-Cho, Cabbage, Rudy ENB for NAT3) are meant for Lux, ELFX, or Window Shadow RT.

Silent Horizons 2 - Universal Core by itself is supposed to be compatible with any Weather/Lighting combination.

Other ENB presets that I have found with Skyrim is Luminous compatibility are Dawnfire ENB for NAT3 and Azurite Horizons ENB for Azurite 2 or 3.

Using an ENB preset with a different lighting mod than intended will not break your game it just won't look as intended. If you don't like the results you can always try another preset.

Wonder if anyone might be able to help me out with an issue. I've been working through installing this list and so far so good except for male models having underwear.

When I'm running mods in the same order as the OP I have underwear. If I re-arrange them to place HIMBO above The New Gentleman, I can get rid of the underwear but it seems to break all the male bodyslides and makes them unselectable in game.... any ideas?

EDIT

Got it figured out, needed a full Bodyslide re-run, but we're good to go now :D

RL SUCKS! Looks like I got a cataract in my right eye (in addition to all the other health probs). Hopefully the waiting list for the doc isn't too long.

But I'm slowly crawling back...

Anyway. Once you get rid of all the included annoying stuff (AI and advertisements) Win11 seems to be OK. But I lost a buttload of links to mods I wanted to test.

Atm I am prepping a save without any sex mods to use for later tests. If something goes wrong I can restart from it without having to redo the configuration of the used mods. OStim seems to have stabilized and doesn't require a rework every few days. Hopefully I'll get it working as an optional replacement for 'SexLab'. When I had it working before it did look much better in regards to animations.

Sadly I havn't found anything like 'defeat' for OStim (yet?) and hopefully the autonomous function of OStim works again.

Just found the conversion of 'Sisterhood of Dibella' for OStim. So one of my favpourite mods works with both frameworks. LINK

First run is looking good.

Fertility mode is easier to configure now and runs fine.

OSL Aroused works great.

OVirginity isn't that interesting.Animations work and load really really fast.

OCum, OStim NPC, OISeeYouMasturbating and Voicesets need more testing.

OCum works (seems to need a restart of the game after the configuration)

Wet Function/OSweat works too (Finally! Always wanted it but it didn't work before)

Welcome back! I'm looking forward to whatever you come up with for the next iteration of the list. Meanwhile, take good care of yourself!

I found an alternative for 'Defeat' but that one requires 'Acheron' which I don't like that much. But I will test it anyway.

I'm also checking a mod where the guards actually search you.

First time in a decade (or so) I am not using an ENB. The community shaders work here and we can get rid of quite some mods. So far CS is easier to install and it should improve the overall FPS too (and no more 'why is that ENB included but mod XYZ isn't showing up in the guide?'). Atm it looks like i can ditch ENB for good without having to lower the quality I'm aiming for.

I have never really chat on here I have been following your guide so far I'm loving it I'm not using the ENB I have been adding a community shaders here is a screenshot of the community shares I'm using and I did not run any issue so far and I cannot wait to see what you come up for the list really

Have you evaluated Naked Defeat? I used to use it on LE, and for a long time there was no AE/SE version, but the author has moved to AE and rewritten the mod.

Does it support OStim? The only one I found for OStim was addons for Acheron.

I don't know. It says it supports SL and SL P+, but I don't know about OStim.

I have been using Naked Defeat now for awhile since trying all the others. It would need a patch for OStim. I do not think anyone has made one. Maybe contact the author he is active now.

Hi, there's a new version of Odefeat that might be useful. I haven't tried it yet, but it might be what you're looking for.

Actually, Nymra, the author of Naked Defeat, used this modlist to build his AE environment to develop the mod.
