Assholomio Posted May 29, 2025 Posted May 29, 2025 Hello, and thank you so much for this mod list! Ā I've been working my way through it on and off for about, erm, five months now. I didn't really know what I was getting into, and as an actual beginner to modding Skyrim, I must say I'm not sure a list of nearly 2000 mods should rightfully be titled "for beginners" anymore. Ā Nevertheless, I'm glad I persevered, because the results are awesome, and I've also learned a lot about modding in the process. Ā I finally made it to the Final section... haven't yet done the grass/LOD generating, the final frontier, nor have a thoroughly explored the world for bugs. But figured I'd post some thoughts/suggestions/observations. Ā As a true newb to this, I did NOT realize we had to install and run Pandora before SexLab animations would play! I lost a couple days of troubleshooting to this. I eventually gleaned it from the thread, but I don't see this mentioned in the actual instructions; I humbly suggest adding a disclaimer of some kind that Pandora needs to be installed and run after the SexLab section. (Or even after the general Animation sections? I don't think all of those were working before I ran Pandora, either, I just didn't notice). MO2 produces text files of the plugin load order and modlist. Have you considered providing those files? It would give us an easy quality control method to verify we are using the intended load order. For instance, we could load your textfiles and our textfiles into something like MS Word and generate a redlined compare document that shows any deviations in our list from your master list. Have you considered making (or perhaps already made and I missed) a consolidated list of mods you have tested and confirmed are incompatible with this mod list? I see you are noting throughout the thread where you have removed or rejected things, but... it's a long thread. "Heels Fix - Settings Loader" states it is now obsolete and included with the latest "Heels Fix" v.1.9. I assume that's fine. (I don't think I've actually seen heels in-game yet.) There are a lot of patches for AI Overhaul, but they're all looking for the AI Overhaul esp master, which doesn't seem to come with AI Overhaul Lite. I assume we do not actually need any patches for AI Overhaul Lite and should ignore any FOMOD options for AI Overhaul... right? For instance:Ā "Interesting NPCs (3DNPC) - Patches" seems to be doing nothing here because there is no AI Overhaul esp. Echo the feedback others have given (which helped me troubleshoot a forever loading screen) that Great Town of Ivarstead has problems and needs to use v1.2. Ditto the feedback regarding Cloaks of Skyrim causing a black face bug on Idolaf and needing to be moved from "Light Armor" to above High Poly NPC Overhaul in "NPCs" to fix it. Not sure if others had this issue, I couldĀ not find mention of itĀ in the thread, but Lux Via gave me a CTD when starting a new game. Couldn't figure it out. Skipped it and its dependencies. I don't think I've seen issues as a result. "Glow Be Gone - Skypatcher" blocks the cum textures from "SexLab Advanced Cum Stages (SLACS)" from appearing. The "GlowBeGone - Magic Effects.ini" file in the Glow Be Gone mod needs to be modified by adding "SLACS.esp" to the "modNamesExcluded" line. I also added "DW.esp" in case that matters. Ā Thanks again for this awesome list! The game is looking great and seems pretty stable. 2
66q5 Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 (edited) After installing the sex module I'm getting a DLL plugin failure, saying PapyrusUtil.dll has been disabled (Hopefully the image with the error attaches correctly). However, I have installed the most recent versions of both SKSE and Papyrus. Has anyone gotten the same error message? Ā Upd: I fixed it, if you're getting the same error as me, try placing PapyrusUtilities main file below sex mods in the left window of Mod Organizer Edited June 3, 2025 by 66q5
SignoreSupremo Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 (edited) Hi, I just started my playthrough (so luckily nothing important was lost) and I got this crash 2025-06-04-20-03-16.log - Pastebin.comĀ (hopefully you can read it) Anyone can help me understand it? Ā EDIT: also, do you know what causes things to blur while on third person? In particular, it gets blurry while standing still, but if I move everything is fine Edited June 4, 2025 by SignoreSupremo

Bring up the ENB settings menu (usually with Shift+Enter) find the Depth of Field setting and disable it.

Sarodinianzu Posted June 9, 2025 Posted June 9, 2025 OK, as a complete newbie to this, I'm going through and grabbing the mods on the list, sorting in MO2, and the like. I come across this: Ā How exactly do I accomplish this? Bear in mind, I've not done this before, so a lot of common terms may need explained to me

The mod is currently on v3.1 and no longer has that issue. 1

I'm now at the "Grass Cache" portion and am looking at the STEP guide, it's telling me MO2 should have a button to select "Precache Grass." I do not have this option in MO2, so I'm wondering what I missed. Anyone have something similar? Ā Sorted, the optional .py file had to be shuffled over to the plugins directory. On we go with the LOD processes... Ā Ā Hold up, which .py file?Ā How do we sort it?

No Grass In ObjectsĀ has an optional file called "Grass Generation MO2 Plugin" that contains "GrassPrecacher.py". Manually download the file. Place the .py file in the "plugins" folder of your MO2 installation.
weeb_piglet Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 Thank you so much.Ā I couldn't figure out what I missed!
Sarodinianzu Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Still going through this list, got to the Creatures - Fauna section. Finished installing the mods there, enabled, did a test run, and now a lot of the random animals and giants look great, but simply t-pose or stay in default pose and don't move at all or react when attacked. Ā I don't think anything's screwed with the animation yet, so I don't know if this is something that further mods down the list will resolve, or if I've screwed something up?

Ā If I remember things right, the animations section including Pandora is lower down the list, if so then running Pandora should sort it out at least well enough to test it, though you may want to delete Pandora's output when you start adding stuff again, though you may be able to just keep it at the bottom.
Sarodinianzu Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 Yeah, Pandora alone didn't do anything. I'll test it again when I have the whole section installed.Ā
weeb_piglet Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 If you have pandora and OAR installed they might be expecting you to install creature animations that you don't have yet?Ā I'd try disabling the whole mod until you get to the actual animation sections.
_Warhawk_ Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 I just wanted to let everyone know that the Creation Club Content Patch has been updated and brought back individual patches for people who don't use all the AE content. Letting people know since I missed that it updated back in April. 1
PervertInside Posted June 17, 2025 Posted June 17, 2025 it's been a while and i cant seem to find is, but has there been an updated excel list yet?

PervertInside Posted June 18, 2025 Posted June 18, 2025 Ah, i was hoping it was "finished" (as much as it can be) and i could work through it and not worry about changes half way through. That borked my install last time, i missed a few of them and didnt want to start all over back then.

It is kind of difficult to keep track of what you do in the current state of the mod list and that will make it easier.
DaMan1 Posted June 22, 2025 Posted June 22, 2025 so im in the "PC" stage of the modding list, my fps drops to around 40 fps on vegetation heavy places, Does the fps get better if i go all the way down with mods and doĀ DynDOLODĀ stuff? Or is it just hilldown from there

Ā If the vegetation mods are taxing your system that much, you might want to go back and start replacing them with downgraded textures.Ā Especially whichever option you went with for the tree mods. 1

I think I had better performance switching from Freak's Floral Fields to Freak's Floral Meadows. Its by the same author and designed as a more performant option to Floral Fields. You can try that or only use Parallax on the things the guide says to use or pick and choose what you want to be parallaxed. 2
