Does this mod still have a fairly seamless transition into Nuka Ride? It's been a bit since I last used both, but don't see any real references/optional or soft requirements for Commonwealth Slavers in Nuka Ride's main page. If they can still be connected, is there a particular route you'd be locked into once starting Nuka Ride?

The latest word is that there is no continuity any more.  It's best to play one and start a new game with the other.

 

There are future plans to have Nuka World stuff in Commonwealth Slavers which would be messed up by having Nuka Ride installed at the same time as Commonwealth Slavers.

Commonwealth Slavers 2.8.1

 

Maintenance update. Unless you're working (whoring) with clients at the Whore House (whether working for Lindstrom or Medium Sized), it's safe to upgrade. Otherwise, finish your work and save, before upgrading.

 

 

  • Fixed all bugs and voices noted here and here@Omnishade @savantladylilith 
  • Fixed Medium Sized ignoring you after the True Endig.

  • Of all those bugs or suggestions, I still couldn't fix Lindstrom and his piercings (at least it works) and I decided not to decrease Abbot's reward. He's a good guy.

  • I added more options to the Whore House flagpole.

  • “Grab a dildo and play with it” will only appear to you if you have Kziitd animations installed, a mod that is not yet for the public.

  • I completely forgot that voices were missing for the clients who were attracted to your dancing at the flagpole. So new voice file: Commonwealth Slavers - Voices 1.12

  • I'm missing the Minutemen voices for the flagpole event too! But I ran out of Elevenlabs quota 😛 So that's for another time.

  • I completely removed my cigarettes. I added “Smokeable cigars” to my recommended list. My mod will detect if you have that mod installed, and if you have at least 1 cigarette/cigar in your inventory, you can smoke it using my purse as a shortcut! :star:

It's just this bug report from SavanLilith, and I was going to double check it. From Creation Kit everything looks fine, but I lost my save so I can't check it right now quickly. It's doesn't seem like a scripting problem.

Ah, i think that dialogue is at the beginning of the mod. I didn't get the headpart piercings (old save) so maybe i will tweak the quest so i can trigger that dialogue later in the mod and test it at the same time.

I read there is some plans for crossover with Nuka Ride. What if it was reversed. Instead of slavers then nuka ride. You completed nuka ride and the slavers kidnapped you when you are the overboss's bitch. Oh the possibilities for stories.

You misread it. It is not a crossover for nuka ride that JB plans but plans for vanilla nuka world.

I'd like to report that some in game items, locations and quests are in a different language for some parts instead of English. I think the language is Spanish that is shows up as? The Greenhouse (location), tattered rags and sun glasses I believe (items), and Painting The Town and Out Of Time (quests) although vanilla.  Edit: Can confirm that many things in Commonwealth Slavers 2.8.1 have things written in a different language. I took a look at Commonwealth Slavers in Fo4Edit.

Thanks! I ran a script yesterday to revert all my entries back to their original language, but I may have misconfigured it. Uploading the right version right now.

 

As for Nuka World, it is a content that will be blocked if you have Nuka Ride installed.

 

Like, imagine Gristle leaning against a pickup truck. He's going to take some slaves to Nuka World. But if you have Nuka Ride installed, Gristle will say something like “got some malfunction and I can't start the pickup” + a message popping up saying that the following content is only available with Nuka Ride uninstalled (probably Viva Nuka World comes into the same equation).

(i use 2.6.8) but there is no dialogue when i am on stair.

 

Even after the update, the elevator is still usable.

the same thing happened when i used version 2.8.0

It’s mostly or fully stable I assume. But I feel like JB wants to do a big official release when he gets to Commonwealth Slavers 3. All the bug fixes and new endings for that big release. If you noticed when he made 2.8’s post he said road to Slavers 3. Hence why i make such an assumption.

JB i wanted to mention something else. I’ve noticed whenever I play this mod, Gristle is missing his face gen file. Just like the Dr. Penske face bug if you’ve ever seen it. Even in 2.8.1. When i had both Slavers and Nuka Ride installed. Gristle’s face was as it should be. But getting rid of Nuka Ride would take away those face gen files. I tried other options in implementing a face gen file like a nexus mod called Raider Males or something. It does touch Gristle but the vanilla npc Gristle. Your mod uses its own npc version of Gristle called CS Gristle or something according to Fo4Edit. I had thought of overwriting the fave gen files with Raider Male mod until i saw that the npc’s were different. All in all, Gristle’s face is still fucked loool. I’ll attach a picture if needed when i get the chance.

a shit option. i like taking lil smoke breaks in my game for RP purposes. i also love the smell of cigarettes irl.

After completing 20 quests (with the MCM also set to the default value of 20), I talked to Lindstrom, but the ending quest dialogue didn’t trigger—it just repeated the same looping quest dialogue as before. Is there any way to salvage this save file?

I also used Set _CS_JobsDone_Global to 19 -> Set _CS_JobsDone_Global to 20

then talked to Lindstrom, still get the same reply :(

I tested The Whore House quest with v 2.8 today and the VIP put an armbinder on me that removed my heels, and heels makes her a bit more sexy you know. Does it have to use the body slot?

Dr. Duff offers you a cure in Diamond City ONLY if you are a double amputee.

 

But... if you want to heal on your own, you can use the MCM. The mod will re-adapt to your situation. The same if you decide to have double amputation by MCM, the mod will hear the event and adapt dialogues if necessary.

It's now compatible with Smokeable Cigars and, in addition, if you have some in your inventory, you will be able to smoke it from the purse shortcut (the little mirror that attaches to the quick access when you equip a purse).

Unfortunately, yes. That's how KFT was made.  In that respect, in that respect alone, I prefer Devious Devices. Otherwise, I prefer KFT.
