Goubo Posted October 24, 2016 Author Posted October 24, 2016 Goubo, a thought regarding follower down: is it possible to add an option when a follower goes down, that the aggressor engages in dialogue (like surrender dialogue) and tells you to surrender or the follower will be killed? And if you say yes it goes in original surrender, if you refuse the follower is dead if not essential. I'm not sure about that, I really don't want to mess with the AI mid-combat and the problem that will come with it.  where should i look for the 10 second post assault grace period variable to extend it? It currently can't be changed, I will add an option for it in the next version.  I just wanted to comment on an issue I found here, in case others come across it.  After being assaulted, my assaulters refused to talk to me at all. I had the option to communicate, but when I pressed 'E' they would merely respond with "..." and no dialogue option would open up. Very problematic if they are essential NPCs.  I tried many things, but simply going into MCM > Defeat > General settings and choosing "Clean up" from the options on the right fixed this for me and they would speak to me once again. The scene didn't finish properly, I made some changes to it for the next version that will hopefully fix that kind of problem

I will look forward to that, then.  Something that I would love to see if it's not too hard, are additional menu options for "witness intervention". I love the concept, but while I was using it I only seemed to ever have witnesses attack the assaulter, killing them and very rarely anything more.  So options to change aggro probability would be really cool. As would being able to tweak the join probability (as that seems the only way that I've ever been able to activate 3P). Even having it so that witnesses knock down instead of kill the assaulter would make life easier, or a slightly different approach such as a rescue function where the victim is simply pulled out of the situation without witnesses engaging the assaulter.  Those are just some of my thoughts anyway. Keep up the awesome work!

Â I was defeated and blacked out, I woke up in the Temple of Mara with Dinya Balu healing my wounds and once she healed me she proceeded to rape me out of no where. Â And then for the second stage Maramal joined the fun and then because Witness Intervention Briehl tried to save only to be killed by Dinya (he tried valiantly but an unarmed man is no match for a dagger and magic). Â After that, once Maramal was done, I blacked out again, woke up in the Bee and Bard unable to move (seemingly in a trauma state but the trauma animation wasn't playing), I then had to quit game. And since there was so much on the go I couldn't save I basically have to start from the beginning again.

Is there a way to add dialogue to the witness "Leave her alone, you bastard, or I am calling the guards!" and then have a delay before the witness sounds the alarm so you can get out of town. Maybe a short term bounty to keep you away for a while.  No idea if thats workable, just throwing an idea out.  Thanks  for all the fun I have had playing Skyrim with your mod, I hope there is something like Defeat for FO4 in the not too distant future....still not sure why so many hate that game, there is so much more than the main quest.  I forgot my question...I am trying to use SLAL and am having no luck with Defeat using the animations, has anyone found a fix for this? Â In your DefeatNVNOnHitScr.psc file, in the GetNearValidNPC function you need to add a check to exclude the victim because that function can pick the victim as the nearby NPC leading to them attempting a sexual assault on themselves. It might be proper to also check the Actor.IsHostileToActor function to make sure a "friendly" isn't picked for the assault as well. Â The only reason I found that though is because for some strange reason the Draugr who sent Anska into bleedout didn't seem to be registered as the LastAggressor even though he had a one on one battle with her. Â I've been trying to get Anska (High Gate Ruin) to be used once by every single Draugr in the place (she needs to pay for that scroll somehow) but for some reason it fails to connect the draugr that beat her and tries to find some other draugr to do her instead. That seems to fail with draugrs that haven't "awakened" which is something you'd want to work anyway (may need to test Actor.GetSleepState, Actor.IsAlerted or Actor.IsAlarmed but Actor.SendAssaultAlarm ought to "activate" them).

Â I think that it may be a little conflicting/contradictory though when you have unchecked "morality matters" as that means that someone is okay if they attack you themselves... but the moment anyone else tries to do that.... there'll be hell to pay!! xD All the NPCs seem to find my PC irresistible, but baby.. I know. *sweeps hair back*   The only other issue I have is that the "trauma" state doesn't always initiate.... but I guess that goes hand in hand with the "scene hasn't ended properly" issue that you said might be addressed soon.   I mean I can make it configurable to some degree, I'll take a look.  The simple escape event is now fully configurable with the distance you need to get away and the timer before the npcs regain hostility and now the code will wait for a player's input (move) for them to get up and initiate the escape sequence instead of the bar to fill cause some people just don't want to deal with the bar.

Is it possible for you to display the Trauma debuff along with the buffs and debuffs on the side? You know, the ones that SkyUI shows you at the top right side. I sometimes find myself engaging with whatever assaulted my character too early and end up paying for it quite hard.
Darkooj Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 I have seen a few people mentioning the same issue I was having with creatures, not sure what is causing it (Potentially a weird conflict between mods or something) but it comes up with the message to say that you can't surrender to the animal. When I tried it I tried to surrender to a wolf (Naturally spawned) after spotting that when I ended up in a fight against a bear or something didn't trigger defeat when I ended up in combat with one at a low level. I also tested raising all the potential scene triggers and testing those out, none of which work, I am on a version of FNIS and FNIS Creatures that should work so I don't think that is the issue. Â

Last night it was rabbits and crabs which are not even on the list of eligible creatures to rape! Once she blacks out the screen fades to black and I have to wait until he's done then I hear the bad guy killing the animal that was waiting for it's turn (???). This is a brand new game/save and I have DA installed. I've gotten some great advise on how to make these two mods work together and they do for a while then something like this happens and once it starts, Defeat and or DA never work the same again. I have zero idea what's going on. Â EDIT: I have Aroused Creatures installed. Could this be the problem? Is it perhaps interfering with DA and or Defeat?
hamthe3rd Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Aroused Creatures is something I didn't have any problems with as far as interaction between mods, but I think it ties up some script/resources that may slow things down and may have some issues with causing other mods to lag and sometimes falter. I recently took it out and am trying out Enchantress again instead. Â Just something to think about.

Â After reading about your problem, I spawned some Falmers and Druagr (sp?) and they straight up slaughtered my character. There was no rape and they are on my list of enabled creatures in Defeat. Not the same mod but, I used Hentai Creatures and summoned those and some other creatures and none would engage in "training" with my PC. I checked the MCM and I have it set to only train with my character and remote training. Never had a problem with this before. Â Just before uninstalling Aroused Creatures I decided to have one last go and got this message "Dog is not interested in mating with you right now." Most depressing thing ever.... Â My girl is a Succubus! She's all about sex. Help this demon hottie get laid!!!! Oh, and Hamthe3rd's character, too!
znaroks Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Whenever I use the take the option "Take what you want and let me go", I get the "Like I need your permission response", and nothing happens, the bandit/necromancer/whatever walks away, and my character is stuck in the crouching position. Seems to be a common bug, is there a fix for it?

And sorry, that visual just makes me laugh, I know it's annoying. Could try a few other settings in Defeat as well, like checked and unchecked female first in the player as victim set.
