It's not every time, but quite often, the animations are off. As in the penis below my chin during a blowjob, it not going in during sex etc. I thought it might be HDT Heels, but there's an option to adjust for it and I disabled it to test, same issue. It's very hit or miss. I've tried reinstalling and running FNIS again too. Probably related, but I still have minor issues with starting the scenes. Maybe like..20% of the time, the first scene is both characters naked, standing inside each other, clipped, with the sounds playing and no animation. Or the characters are in two different locations, performing the sex acts on the air. The animations work though, because if I try it again, it works 90% of the time. It's always the first try. Any ideas on what could cause that? Things about Skyrim animations you need to know: 1. All the sex animations are actually each actor performing a solo animation and the framework is pushing them together so it looks like the actors are interacting (they are not). 2. Actors in the game come in various sizes, some mods even enhance those differences usually by race so the framework has the ability to have custom alignments by race combinations. 3. Given that there are lot of different body replacers available and those different body replacers tend to put various sexy bits and pieces in slightly different locations or make them larger or smaller than the vanilla bodies. 4. There have also been a large number of different animators creating animations plus even more people putting those animations into SLAL packs and they end up aligned to fit the bodies being used by whoever sets up the SLAL pack. 5. The framework has hotkeys you can use to align the sex act to match the combination of bodies and actor sizes you chose to use. 6. There's almost no chance whatsoever that this situation will get any better in the future. Bottom line: You'll have to fix any alignment problems on your own, you have the tools on hand to do that in the framework though. Now for some handy hints about aligning animations: Open the MCM Menu for Sexlab and on the "Animations" page turn off the "Auto Advance Stages" option. Doing that means any animation involving the player or any animation you elect to control through the Sexlab Framework will keep playing long enough for you to align it to perfection (use the spacebar to advance through the animation sequence manually, shift-spacebar to back up if you need to). There are TWO sets of alignments for each Sexlab animation, first is the overall animation alignment which is used by every stage of the animation. Second is the stage specific adjustments for each stage of the animation only. Because of that we recommend you align the first stage using the hotkeys for the whole animation. Then for each subsequent stage of the animation adjust using the same hotkeys but also hold down the CTRL key so any additional adjustments made for those subsequent stages will be for those stages only. That usually works with most animations since the actors don't move a lot, with some animations you may want to select a different stage as your "base" stage but the principle is the same, align the actors for a stage and often you won't have to make more than a small tweak to subsequent states.

nikitarossow Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 So myself and someone else are having trouble with the grabbing system in defeat. When sneaking and undetected, when I use the activate key I no longer grab them, it initiates dialogue which lets me tell them to do certian things that having them knocked down would have, except I'm speaking to them. It's extremely annoying as the animations wont actually play when I select 'tie up'. I've tried a fresh install of defeat and it's the same thing. This is after having it working for months. I googled this problem and I've found 0 working solutions. I've lurked around in this thread and people seem to have the same problem, but there have been no solutions. Is there a solution out there?

Yes, clear the tags completely before trying to change them, hit the 'key' or 'button' ( if using xbox contoller ) that resets it to default ( blank ) and then add tags, like i always change the aggressive female/female tags cause they say lesbian, i clear that first by telling it to go to default, then add the tags i want and no CTD happens.

Animations are just picked randomly and the animations doesnt seem to get filtered at all. For some reason, it seems the default setting for tags work, but once it is edited, it still uses default tag setting. What is going on?
Goubo Posted November 24, 2016 Author Posted November 24, 2016 So about the mod: it's advancing slowly but I'm getting there, I'm currently making some improvement to the player victim feature, I want it to work flawlessly no matter the aggressor combination. - I need to finish the blackout system, I'm glad it works as intended but there is some more refining to do. - I need to finish the kidnapped event, I have more ideas and cool places for more events but I think I'll add some more events as updates or I won't release this before 2017. - I need to make an stalking walk animation cause I can't use the stealth animation for the potential stalker cause it's so slooooow, something less goofy than the stealth walking animation of the sims but you get the idea. - Trying my best to find and fix problems you people report here. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't know why some people ctd with the tag settings as I have never ctd myself, not sure how to fix this, it's probably something related to sexlab and its tags, something is probably making the game crash because sexlab can't find a tag for an added animation or something, the tag system really got out of control . DarkRavage, it uses default because it does not find any animation for your tagging, make sure you have the right settings for it, if you add oral to aggressive "aggressive,oral" and let the Require all tags option is enabled every animation will require those two tags to be valid, if disabled every animation with either aggressive or oral tag will be valid, that's an important option.

I also feel that the options to have tied up npcs and using them for prostitution needs to have a option where they don't report you to the guards all the time.

Yep he's already offering his help for this But I'm willing to make it myself, I want to expand my skills to have more possibilities and less direct limitations to what I'm doing, for too long I had to find workarounds and use vanilla animations instead of custom made ones that fit the idea in my head. They do not have the bound or binding tag but they do have the aggressive tag and since all tag required is disabled all animations that have aggressive count as valid, you could add sleeping in the supress tag to avoid the sleeping ones. If you have the same result with all tag required enabled then there is a problem in my code, I'll check it, I'm also going to add a button for each option display the set of animations SexLab would pick with a particular set of tags, that should help a lot.

I noticed such effect was possible ingame when drunk, so considering the pain resulting of a rape, would it not be immersive to have the victim unable to walk / run straight a few seconds / minutes after being raped ? Maybe also a debuff that could randomly trigger some sort of "stomach pain" animations up to a few hours after the event ? what do you think ?

NPC tries to add children, when they get knocked down... (town of morthal, girl got knocked down by a troll) Then Defeat seems to stall at that point. and requires a clean up. Even had my kids, from Beeing Female try to assault each other, causing them to glitch and hang up where they were, till I revived them, and do a defeat clean-up. Can you do a validity check prior to assault, just after knock down to cancel the assault attempts where children are involved?

I have added the arousal aspect in Defeat and it will check it for stalkers of course, it's all configurable in a new MCM page for stalking. The nvn system does not filter chidren you are right, weird that I forgot that, will be fixed of course, thanks for letting me know.

Slaanesh Devotee Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of or suggest this, but if you're implementing SLA checks into Defeat anyway, I thought it might be interesting to have an option to make arousal affect knockdown chance. An aroused actor might get a bonus to knockdown chance, ideally scaling with arousal as they become more and more interested in getting more than just loot out of whoever they're attacking. The same, if it's feasible, could go for whoever's getting hit too; seeing whoever they're fighting seeming to be more interested in cutting their armour off than their arm, a sufficiently sex-starved actor might not be all that motivated to stop them. Speaking from complete ignorance of exactly how anything works under the hood, I imagine I'd try to implement that as something like... finalKnockChance = baseKnockChance + ( (aggressorArousal * 0.X) + (defenderArousal * 0.Y) ) ...where baseKnockChance is whatever it would've been without SLA involved, and X and Y are ideally user configurable to give more control over what fraction of aggressor and defender arousal matter. I originally thought to add static values in there as well, to model for instance the idea that an unaroused attacker might not be terribly interested in sex, but then I realized that might be better handled by just lowering the base chance to reflect that instead. Which, now that I think about it, I guess also gives the option of either treating arousal like a small bonus to whatever the base chance is, or, by setting base chance low and multipliers high, it treats it more like arousal is the driving force of whether a Defeat scene occurs or not. Neat!

I fight an npc but it kills me and loads my previous save nothing triggers. Im using a fresh start. I believe defeat isn't started by default, you need to go into the menu's and activate it then let it load up.

I am running about 163 mods currently, including Maids II: deception, 3DNPC, Anna NPC, Beeing Female, and a few other heavy scripted mods, without many issues. The number of mods, and usable scripts depends primarily on your CPU/RAM/HD speeds. My old computer setup couldn't handle all the mods I have now and maids II. If your RAM set is less than 16000, it will hurt your load times, and may cause some issues during game play (recomend 24000 for gaming). Most HDs I have seen these days use a 7000 RPM head speed, that is very slow in finding the data, at least 10,000 RPM for gaming, or just use a 280 GB SSD to hold the desired game. And of course, to process all that information, dealing with the processor. Also, remember save games will get larger, the further along you are, and the number of NPCs you have come across. If your current system runs the mods you have really well through level 60, exploring most of the skyrim map, then you shouldn't have an issue with this mod, as the resource requirements for it are quite low compared to several others (unless you have debug options turns on, that will stress the papyrus).
