I've found it that it seems the 5.3.1 defeat was stuck in between bleedout and blackout support when it logde itself into death altenative, it might be somesort of MCM's problem, since that beeing-female and frostfall having a simular problem at their newest version got release.

I have a few followers and I have "Followers as aggresssors" checked.  When one of my followers goes to do an assualt on a NPC at ranom one of myother followers after the assualt go unresponsive to me.

 

When trying to talk to the follower they only say "......"

 

This happened in 5.2.2 as well but thought the update would change/fix this

 

Is anyone having the same issue?  Or am I not using the right settings?

To update, would I need to follow these steps?:

 

1. Disable & remove Defeat ( and optionally FunnyAnimations.)

2. Start game & save.

3. Run Save cleaner.

4. Re-install Defeat (and new FunnyAnimations.)

5. Run FNIS.

6. Play.

"Left For Dead" option isn't working as intended, and after sex my PC just sitting on the floor with trauma even with 100% chance via MCM.

I did not installed any versions of Defeat on this save before. Also i don't have any slavery mod installed.

Other sexlab shenanigans are fine.

just testet the update. But somehow Defeat acts strange while finding animations. Just using the tag "Aggressive" should bring a lot of animations. If checkbox enabled and using shift + mouseclick to see what animations are available shows empty window. Checkbox unchecked and using shift + mouseclick shows only some of the FunnyBizness animations from the package loaded with SLAL.

 

Normally there should have shown a lot more, even from the FunnyPackage loaded in SLAL.

 

I have no idea, what´s going on.

Also the keyword for Leito´s Bound animations is "BINDING" and in SL Defeat only "Bound" can be choosed. Manully handwriting is not possible anymore, as the tags have to be choosen over mouseclick from the list.

It is not possible to leave the MCM after configurate something with tags in Defeat. :D

Before you ask, yes I ran FNIS before I started a new game and character to test it out with Simple slavery, Devious Capture, and DA.

Even then i set bit do I only have Defeat and the mod need to run it install I'm still not getting any MCM menu for Defeat 5.3 on new characters.

This was addressed on the previous page. You have to press shift again to be able to exit.

Not sure if this will help or you already tried, but when I have a mod not registering in MCM, all I have to do is enter MCM menu, then exit and wait a few seconds, then go back in and it's there. Works pretty much every time for me. Seems like MCM just gets bogged down registering all the mods on a new character.

Goubo, can you provide more info on the whole surrender when out of combat feature... i tried it but every time i have gotten refused, what are the conditionals?

The conditions are in the Player as aggressor MCM menu under Tied victim settings, they are the same as the handover to guards option.

I got stuck in the MCM last night, had no idea why, nor how I got out of it eventually...  LOL

One thought on that front,   Some sort of very simple, very practical, idiot's guide to main functionalities, as simple as 'push this button', 'set that to' etc and 'this should then happen' might be of help.  
 
On that, please, I certainly don't mean to sound ungrateful or as if asking for a whole heap more effort - writing manuals is hard work! - but reading through the thread, as I do regularly, there are lots of posts indicating that people like me struggle with the complexities.   Teruke's, and Dark Ravage's, posts above are good examples.  I'd help if I could but I struggle to make some things work too - I'm sure that they do, but I just can't work out how, even things sometimes as simple as working out which key is which, let alone what they do   :-) 
 
I hope that when that arrives with you, it's able to be seen as constructively as was the intention when it left here.... LOL

 

Yeah, you are right, I'm gonna write a better descriptive of the new features.

 

Always glad to see new versions of Defeat, its easily the SL mod I use and like most. Mine loaded up right away and so far all has worked as intended.

 

I do have a couple questions for anyone that can answer....If the victim yields and I go through the dialogue I can ask her to strip (I wish we could use serial strip animations here but I assume thats not so easy?) both time she has obeyed and then I tied them only to have their clothes reappear soon as she enters the tied position, is this fixable and how?

 

Second question...what influences the strafe key struggle because my big bad nord can only get about two thirds of the way full before he ragdolls. Is this stat based and which? Combat skill. Is there a way to disable it if my PC is the aggressor. I have been using tie to avoid it as I cant seem to even get close yet I dont read any other comments talking about this so I feel I hay be making it harder than it is somehow.

 

Thanks for you hard work and I was hoping you might be thinking on stuff for FO4, that game has a great foundation for mods to build on imo...

Ha yes the victim redressing might be a bug that appeared when I improved the redress function ironically... easy fix hopefully.

 

For the calculation your two best attack skills against the best defense skills of the target, you can raise the bonus slider for it to be easier to fill in the MCM menu (Knock down chance multiplier option).

 

I definitely want to make something for FO4 but I don't know what yet, it could be interesting to make a Defeat-like mod for the player victim to begin with, I could build some mechanics from scratch without the need of a sex framework, but I dunno we'll see when that CK is released, don't want to make any promises I don't even know if I'll have the time to do so. :)

The tagging system should work fine, you need to get used to it, the default options are fine though if you don't want to mess with it too much.

 

The list that appear displays all the existing tags of the animations of SexLab, if you don't find "binding" it normally means that none of the animations currently enabled have a "binding" tag.

 

To leave the menu repress modifier key, annoying bug that block the menu when you press left shift for some reason.

Ok so wierd thing is happening to me when defeat uses one of its default events after the scene. It telported me to inn in whiterun once and once outside the dungeon where i was defeated. The wierd thing is that enemies followed me. Bunch of Drammar skeletons folowed me to whiterun and killed half of the city. In second case the draugr went out of the dungeon to finish me. I dont think it suposed to work that way.

 

As for new animation. I fel thru the floor few times when it started playing and the "i cant move after scene bug" returned after. Also sorry but its pretty bad. Its not even looped right.

The NPCs respond but nothing else happens and I get the feeling there should be a follow me or something that isnt showing. Even if they say yes that ends the dialogue and they return to pathing. The Npc seems to take off walking after saying yes but not in front of everyone but they wander around a bit and have nothing new to say in any menu I can find. Anyone else getting this?

I was indoors actually, in a Red Eagle Redoubt.

Will try to repeat this in the wilds.

I am guessing a bug, using K key with friendlies brings up 2 options, "do you want to fuck me" and "can i fuck you". The option Disable starting teleport of sexlab is disabled? What dialogue exactly?

 

Btw you can ask a npc to follow you for 20 seconds by pressing K when you are not in a dialogue range.

The mod works good. I only would prefer an option to turn prostitution on/off. I currently use Radiant Prostitution.


i have uninstalled the previous version and started a new save but i cant get it to enable in the MCM menu. anyone else have the same problem with ver 5.3.0?

 

Depending on the number of mods you have intalled, it might take a while. Make sure Sexlab is activated already.

 

What sometimes helps is to enter, then exit MCM an walk around for 5 seconds, then save and reload that save. After reload enter MCM again, exit it and walk around, you should finally see MCM registering new menues for your neweset mods. This can take up to half a minute.

This was after testing starting a new game, loading it a new game, after saving then load that game, and checking the MCM menu after waiting 10 minutes after the last MCM check. When I say it not appearing that is after preforming all common and basic loading and lag checks.

I'm wondering if something should be added after turning a tied up criminal in, such as the guard killing the criminal or the criminal just disappearing, because there doesn't seem to be anything keeping the player from just putting the criminal back in the bag and running off to do whatever else.  The idea is neat though.

I see, but that's not enough sir, i provided a more detailed chain of events in this post http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19941-sexlab-defeat/?p=1478382 

 

As it stands the feature is pretty unusable inside cities.

 

Regarding the crash when going for tag editing, if you use SL anim loader and register more anims onto sexlab, possible some that introduce new tags, once you go to defeat and try to open up the tag edit you crash, at least i have every time i did this so far. Of course this is circumvented by making a save after using Sl anim and then loading it up to go for Defeat options.

Hi Goubo

 

Since I updated to 5.3.1, I noticed that the player becomes completely stuck when this code is triggered in SD+ or Dialogues:

Debug.SendAnimationEvent(Game.GetPlayer() as ObjectReference, "bleedOutStart")

I used this to force the player on his/her knee if they choose to resist another NPC.

 

Is this something you are aware of?

Any tip to fix it on my end?

Tested a little today, results:

Started a new character, defeat MCM registers and appears just fine for me.

Checked with existing character (defeat 5.2.2), updated fine, no issue there either.

Problem: Tag lists were empty when clicked on, none would show up at all. Checked the papyrus log and found: "Error: Method GetAllAnimationTags not found on sexlabframework." So I'm thinking I need a newer version of Sexlab? According to the requirements, the version I have should work (1.60 hotfix 2). (?)

 

 

EDIT:

 

Updated to Sexlab 1.61b and now tag lists are displaying properly.

 

Still shows up in MCM just fine for me, on a new character and on a previous save from Defeat 5.2.2.

The range was what I was doing wrong, great, thank you for adding this, its a great feature. I was going to ask the Devious Attributes creator to add your mod to his, the mental aspect of that mod is interesting

a small question, I know that Sexlab Defeat It has support with Death Alternative - Your Money or Your Life, but I do not really like that mod, to except the bleedout state, there will be some mod out there adding only that state, because the bledout of sexlab defeat does not always show.

I think some options can not be used with joystic, or am I wrong?

If I want to update from 5-2-2 version to 5-3-1 version do I need to update/rerun FNIS?
