ttpt Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 As for an actual CTD report, I was having a problem where NPC vs NPC rape was having an issue, if you have their setting to trigger on both health threshold and bleedout and with last enemy turned off and the assault chance at 100%, if two different enemies trigger a rape attempt on an NPC the two enemies would do the undress animation but only one of them would assault the NPC. After the attack is over and the assaulted NPC is dead the game would crash on an attempt to save, this would happen unless I performed defeat's clean up function after the assault is done, and saving would not cause a CTD. This lead me to believe that yes, if two assaults are triggered at the same time but only one of them goes through the game won't like that very much. This is a very specific circumstance and tailored for the highest chance of assault on an NPC. This is for NPCs not for followers. An actual CTD report contains, Description of the Problem, List of Mods used, including modifications that do not have ESP's Pap Log All outside apps used to run the game. INI files Tests to see that the mod does not in fact work on a new game with only the base mods needed for the test. In other words turn off the other mods run new game if problem persists than maybe its a defeat issue. Note this must be as clean as possible which isn't possible for most users. I never said defeat didn't work, besides I'm teleporting from the main menu to qasmoke and spawning bandits and a victim to be assaulted. I described the settings on the mods I'm using (defeat, DA) and described the problem that in the off chance that two bandits trigger the assault script at the same time (the two bandits go into the undress victim animation) only one of them will go off (only one of the bandits actually assaults). It is not something that happens very often but if it does then attempting to save would case a CTD, using defeat's cleanup before attempting to save would allow a save to be made. So i'm pretty sure it's a defeat thing. And yes, having two bandits trigger the script at the same time doesn't happen very often.

But when I manually surrender with the hot key, I get the dialogue, my character is crouched down. But the Raper NPC doesn't start the animation. Same goes for my companion. I try clicking "update FNIS behavior" but I still get the problem. Update the expression registry or animation registry I do not know why the post events do not trigger, after finish my character get sent flying across the map and die
afa Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Alright, it's happened again. Start new game, Defeat works fine, screw around for a bit, and by about an hour in Defeat just totally stops working right. This seems to be the entire theme of all posters recently. I'm not having a problem with Defeat. Is repeating rape then surrender working for you? That's the part I am stuck on. Also are you using DA or not. Sometimes Defeat stop working isn't really Defeat that has stopped, but rather DA acting strangely, and once DA starts to bug out, it might stay that way even after all the clean up functions.

Averlin Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 sketchz, there are checkboxes inside both defeat and in sexlab itself that you can make sure are unchecked to keep creature animations from triggering. I think sexlab's is unchecked by default, but regardless, yes, there are options so you can make the critters behave themselves.

As for your animation not starting, i have the same problem as you where animation do not start after surrednering to a monster. Sometimes it does when i did a lot of cleaning. Secondly when i woke up from post assualt, i get encmubrered by junk weopon and armour I have all the things you listed already installed, but the rape animation plays when knocked down with the wound/exhaustion auto hit thing. No matter how many times I clean, I keep getting the same problem.

When im lucky and dont get a CTD the next trigger will be 100% one. For now turn "Player as Victim" off and my game is stable like before. Hope you can fix this, cause best mod on sexlab mmhh.. I tested it many times with Death Alternative. Never got a CTD. I play with 198 esp's a total of 20 hours and didn't experience one CTD or a freeze. Then i downloaded: Death Alternative Defeat Sanguine Debauchery They should be all compatible together but since i use them altogether my skyrim is a mess As soon as Death Alternative triggers the CTD's are real. 198 esp's doesn't mean a dang thing. I have 3 merge files that contain about 40 ESP's each. My total count according to Mod Organizer is 112 active plugins, so I beat your count and I can still play without CTD's. Now Im going to just pass gas and magically determine from that gas the ESP's you have that are causing this issue since you were not nice enough to provide your plugin list. Wet and Cold Frostfall Dual Sheath Redux Armed to the Teeth Equipment Overhaul ACE Realistic Combat Module Epic Gameplay Overhaul If your using any of those mods, you shouldn't even bother reporting CTD's. You brought it on yourself, and that's just a short list of stuff I look for in Waaagh I CTD help me. If its starting to sound like I'm saying the most popular mods here that's because I am, all those mods make use of cloaks that fire off scripts every 0.5 seconds you really think Death Alternative, Defeat, and SD+ are going to work their best alongside that with all the other mods in your list that use scripts with cloak effects. Devious Devices Integration relies on Sexlab Arroused which uses a cloak just like that list I gave above, which version your using matters as well, one is more script heavy than the next. Then there are whole host of Sexlab mods that don't get maintained with the latest version of Sexlab. Then there's Devious Mods that are not going to work with latest version of Devious Devices. Then there are a ton of top 100 mods in both Non-Adult and Adult section that are going to cause issues cause not updated with FNIS, eat too much resources to play alongside other immersion mods, or are just plain bad. Just face it you haven't helped anyone, and you didn't help yourself or other people with interest in the mod cause you didn't provide your list. You are mad ? Im not here for a solution, i just said what my problems are and maybe the mod creator can do something with it. Credits to you cause you have the bigger mod list as me ?! Sorry cant deal with your character.

nutluck Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 If you get the bug where defeat just won't work, I found you also can't trigger sex with other mods. Clicking clean up in sexlab will fix the issue and defeat will start working again.

RE-install defeat. Only solution I tried that, and I still get the same issue. The bandits keep crowding around my character and just look down at her while she is crouched. No sex animations. I tried everything to get this working! Nothing is fixing this!
azmodan22 Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 I have just instaled DAYMOL and SD+, Started a new game with a Lunari race but it seems that The Player does not get knocked down. the enemies just kil her. Daymol doesn seem to do anything either. Can someone please tell me what setting I need to tweak to make these work. I have the DAYMOL bleedout percentage at 30% and Defeat 40%
afa Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Try to avoid using both Defeat and DA's trigger at the same time. So either enable Defeat in DA's bleedout MCM menu and then disable Defeat's own health/stamina/knock down threshold or do the opposite. Although I wonder if DA is set to 0% bleedout while Defeat is set higher would that work.

There's a short if a little outdated guide on the SD+ page regarding defeat and DA.It's weird i haven't had any CTDs during bleedout like a lot of people, though I have gotten CTD while loading when in bleedout. However there have been quite a few times that i've had to clean up defeat due to little bugs. Still haven't tried out the tie-up side of this new version.The newest version of DCL has encroached a little bit into defeat with some features like surrender health % threshold. Do these affect defeat knockdown mechanics? I've disabled the combat surrender part of DCL anyway but i was wondering whether they're compatible together in that aspect.
Frezzy Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 It seems that the bug where surrendering doesn't work is kind of fixed by simply standing really close to an enemy when surrendering. I've tried it a few times and it seems to work most of the time. There is another weird bug where choosing the "Do whatever you want" option doesn't cause rape, even if the enemy says they're going to rape the player. However, choosing the "What do you want? just let me go" (something like that) option, you can get the enemy to rape you if they don't just choose to rob you.

Is there a way to keep the follower in defeated state until the scene is over? I disabled DAYMOYLs "Follower protect player" and enabled "All down" for defeat.

I can't attack, I can't scroll between 1st and third person, I can't even unsheathe my weapons using my mouse. Looking around is fine and all my other controls are fine, it's just the mouse. Anyone have any ideas why?

When I hit action key, three option pops up: kill, rob, rouse. Kill and rob works. Rouse, IDK what is that thing, does not. So I am unable to tie npc or rape them. Anyways, what happened to necrophilia you promised? It would be hilarious to have it in this mod. You can't have your weapon out if you want to rape

NeatLL Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 The main problem with the current version of this mod is that the menu selections don't seem to reference what they are supposed to. For example: 1. The dialogue to raping a surrendering target doesn't seem to do anything. 2. The options on the right side of the PC "tied up" menu either enacts the next option or, for the last option, does nothing. 3. The "rape with player" option for the follower "tied up" menu references the options for changing the targets bindings. I suspect something like index reference errors in the code. There is also the problem of the mod seemingly selecting from the main list of animations instead of the aggressive list when the "restrict aggressive animations" option in SexLab is not enabled.
afa Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 For getting follower to work...most of the time It isn't fool proof, but I have some success with these settings. Disable follower tracking altogether in DA. From what I have seen DA does more to follower than it needs to. Enable NPC vs NPC in Defeat and enable follower victim. Enable follower collateral in Player victim. On the NPC vs NPC section, enable last enemy, check the three % settings, the middle one with % for knock down. I have had success with it being default at 30% or 100%. I can't say why this happens, but I know that at 100% when followers gets knock down they will regain their health, but stay at downed state. Where as at default it will show their health as empty. Assault chance to 100%, uncheck rob and kill just in case. If you are using DA try to diable the health, stamina, and knock down % for player victim and enable Defeat in DA's Bleedout MCM. What should happen is that when follower is present and both player and followers are knock down and multiple enemies are present, they should go after player first, then they might go after follower, it might take them another round before going after follower. Another thing that could happen is follower might get back up in between that time. Try to increase NPC vs NPC knockdown duration. I have yet to test if the order of who gets knock down first matters. Also if followers didn't get picked during a scene, there's a good chance it might CTD
