Hey Goubo,

 

First of all,

 

Thanks for your amazing mod. In the past I had a lot of fun with it.

 

The previous Defeat 5.0.2 version was really buggy for me and broke my save unfortunately.

 

I was wondering if the new update 5.1 was safe to use for regular play? I have a really stable install atm of all my mods and i'm kinda hesitant of adding Defeat once more. Even though i love this mod.

Yes there is but it so far seems to only effect the victim. I have it set to strip all in all menu's and the aggressor still wears weapons, helmet, gloves and boots. While victims in all situations are completely stripped.

For my main game I'm still using V5b3.3fixed which hasn't given me any problems in multiple games of around 150+ hours though it does have a few rough edges here and there (I only use player as victim though).

I just upgraded to 5.1.0 using the clean save method noted in the OP, and the save game tool.  Was able to get the surrender function to work on a wolf, but was not able to get any other creatures or NPCs to initiate rape.  On surrender, they merely sheathe their weapons and calmly walk away.  Tried using the following combinations.

 

-Clean Up on defeat

-Clean Up on both Defeat and Sexlab
-Clean Up on Defeat and Sexlab, save, exit and restart game, reload save

All three resulted in the same outcome.  On hitting the surrender key, potential rapists merely sheathe weapons and walk away.

I reverted to the freshly cleaned save before the first wolf attack, and tried surrendering to a bandit.  This initial assault worked flawlessly.  All dialogue options worked and the assault animations went through as they should.  However once again, follow on surrender attempts to other NPCs or creatures resulted in them just calmly walking away.

So it seems my issue is, in a nutshell:
-The VERY FIRST TIME I surrender during a save, everything works as it should.
-If I attempt to surrender to any NPC or creature after that initial assault, no matter which options I Clean up, save, reload, whatever, the potential attacker merely stops attacking and walks calmly away.  No dialogue events whatsoever.

I'm repeatedly run into the same problem with 5.0.2. Everytime my PC gets defeated by vampires, mages or other magic orientated npc's the next time she's been defeated and the resist bar appears, her opponents ignored her to become hostile again when she gets up just to knock her down and ignore her again. Maybe it has to do something with DA I'm running alongside it, because that mod also starts to act weird.

After several cleaning, reconfiguration and reinstall attempts I've rolled back to the 5b3.3fixed one again, because for me that one runs more smoothly. 5.0.2 itself offers several great additions/changes so I hope I can get it work.

 

Someone has an idea what can cause this and how to fix this.

 

I'll give 5.1.0 a try though, although the change log doesn't mention a clue/fix.  

What Sexlab mods do you have installed?  I'm having the exact same issue.  Lets see if there's a common thread between us that might finger a mod conflict.  See my post above for my mods.

Ok silly question, was the resist animation in 5.0.2 or is it recently added in 5.1.0?

When is it suppose to play? I am guessing it should be between knock down and sex animation.

But I have never seen the animation play out. Do notice the new lying down pose after sex animations tho.

Otherwise I think the mod is working very well for what I need it to do. Mostly player and follower victim.

Unpack the mod onto the desktop.

 

You will see 4 folders.

00defeat <---Stuff in this folder goes into a new data folder you will make :D

01Engrish <---Da ESP here goes into data folder :D

Documents <---You read these

FOMOD <--This goes into the recycle bin

 

Tada you have a mod ready to install.

mmh.. somehow I can't "activate" the mod via mcm. oO

In 5b3.3 it works fine. But in this version it just tells me to wait. And I wait and wait and wait.. Nothing. Even on a new game. 

Some problem like this known?

I had something similar. Make sure the probability for Defeat in the Bleedout section of DA is maxed and the others (if any) are low or unchecked. 

 

Instead of your opponents bashing you to a pulp during bleedout, defeat events should kick in.

After further messing around, it seems like I am also running into surrendering behaving strangely.

When surrender, PC does the animation (sometimes...) enemies will disengage and become friendly then walk away. Can't move for a while then regain control and enemies become hostile again. They don't approach for dialog.

 

With followers, followers will keep fighting if "follower surrender" is disable, and control of PC regains very quickly and is in combat again.

With "follower surrender" enable, PC and followers surrender at the same time, and then enemies disengage and become friendly then walk away. Can't move for a while then regain control and enemies become hostile again.

Thank you for making the mod that allows us to configure and play according to our tastes!

 

I have question - I'd like to play as a more merciful Dragonborn, who, instead of killing the female bandits, would tie them up, put them in a sack, take them to a remote place, and leave them naked and hogtied. Would leaving multiple bandits tied up all over Skyrim take too much of a toll on the save file?

Don't know why, but I am not able the get Defeat to be installed. I started a new game, wait for all the mods to register in MCM, then go into MCM - Defeat and select to install it, get the message that Defeat is getting installed. I press enter and get out of MCM and just wait for the message to popup that tells me that Defeat is installed. But nothing happens. 

Going back into MCM, Defeat is still not installed. I waited a long time, 20 minutes in real time, saved and reloaded. 

 

Nothing works.

 

Please help.

Hah! Unless Goubo could allow us to just knock them out and have our way with them while they're unconscious?

 

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I usually don't tie them up permanently, so by having an expiration date on the bondage, meaning that they'll break free eventually, does this mean that the save file or papyrus would not be too burdened?

Post your other sexlab mods and their requirement mods and your load order.  This is too common an issue to be a fluke.  If we can find some commonality between us we might be able to zero in on a mod conflict.

I made a clean uninstall and reinstalled again. Since i use NMM, i think Meta.ini is not needed and I did not install it. I installed UI Extension. Now I do not see Defeat in MCM at all :(

just a suggestion have you tried  setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1  to try to "boot" the mcm,

​sometimes menus are very slow to show up. or there is Jaxonz MCM Kicker http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57795/? 

not sure if that's your problem but may be worth a shot...hope this helps :-)

Version 5.1.0 is also not working.
The new version does not work, no animation.

In previous versions of the animation work, but there was no animation lying and sitting between acts.

My Female PC just standing. (in V5b3.3fixed - she was lying or sitting and moaning between acts ).
This version does not work neither animation.
As always I used FNIS for Users and refresh animation.

Also, I started a new game.
Sometimes, constant crashes to the desktop (with 5.0.1, 5.0.2 and 5.1.0).
I had to once again put the old version - Defeat V5b3.3fixed.
It is the only working version.

glad it was a easy fix :-) setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1  can be used for any slow mcm  Jaxonz MCM Kicker  i think is for really problematic ones
