I was having a problem with Deviously cursed loot and defeat clashing and causing a ctd at times when defeat happens and DCL fires its random  sex attack . I just turned monsters off in dungeons in the last version of DCL and defeat .  5.1 and the newest version of DCL seem to work ok so far ...Â

However, this bug only occurs once in a blue moon. In my case, it seems to be script lag, although I'm not sure and haven't tested throughly. This is one angle we haven't explored. Â How long are we all going between surrender attempts when this bug occurs? Â Real time, not necessarily in-game time? Â In my case, I was trying to re-attempt surrender as soon as I'd found another creature or NPC, usually less than ten minutes. Â It might just be a time issue. Â It's been a couple of days since I've attempted surrender, and I've been playing my character through normal quests since then (about 5 in-game days). Â I'm going to re-attempt surrender and see if it works this time. Â I'll also go to the nearest settlement, go indoors, and wait or sleep for about a day and then go back out and re-attempt surrender and see if maybe its an in-game time issue. Â Â I dunno. Like I said, I wasn't really bug-testing Defeat when it happened. As far as I know, if I surrender, fail a speech check, get killed, reload a save right before surrendering, try surrendering again, after a while that bug triggers. Â

Â I have this glitch every single time a defeat scene is triggered and I don't know whats causing it, my load order is tidy, all my master files are in the right place and the only mod I'm using that changes anything to do with follower recruitment is a mod called "simple multiple followers" which is as the name suggests...a very simple multiple follower mod that does nothing except allow u to recruit more than 1 follower, so I didn't think that could be conflicting with it. Â is this a bug with the defeat mod? or could it be something else? I've tried tweaking the mods settings and that hasn't fixed it. Â please help. Â I would show u my load order but my laptop is weird with trying to copy and paste with some things like NNM and won't let me simply hold ctrl and scroll down, instead I would have to hold control and manually scroll down and click on every single one of my mods individually which would take ages, also my mouse is one of those retarded touch mouse things where if u scroll the mouse too fast it clicks on stuff u don't want to click on so u can imagine the horror I would have to go through to scroll and click on every one of my 250+ mods lol, in any case I am quite confident that I have nothing except "simple multiple followers" that changes how followers are recruited, in fact, I don't even think that changes anything cos I still get the standard "follow me" dialogue that was already present in game, I also have "puppet master" which doesn't really change anything, it just forces people to follow u via a spell and I know that isn't the culprit because defeat scenes don't unrecruit my puppets. Â I hope what I've told u is enough, if not then please feel free to ask me for more details and I will try to give more. Â thank u for reading and I hope to get a reply from u soon, I would really appreciate the help or if this is a bug that u can fix in the next update.

More thing that I noticed, it seems like surrender can be repeated even to the same group of enemies as long as no rape happen yet. Â Here's what I did. Loaded game it is a fairly early save level 1 near the Guardian stone. Fought a few wolf to clear the area, went toward Embershard Mine to pick a fight with the guarding bandits. Surrender, ran through a few options, eventually ended up with refusing to undress, and they get mad and fight starts again. Try surrender again, it worked! Eventually end up with refusing to undress, but they rape this time. Scene plays out, ran away without fighting them. Â Ran through Riverwood headed toward Bleak Falls Barrow, pick another fight with the bandits near the guard tower on the way. Fought off (4?) female bandits then surrender...bug hits, nothing happen they disengage then walk around. Unluckily there seems to be some NPC vs NPC going on nearby but not with the same group, a different fight between other bandits and necromancer. Pick a fight with the same bandits again, surrender again, same bug hits. Papyrus.0.log

candykanekiller Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 I do not see defeat in the mcm menu screen, I tried the command and jaxsons mcm kicker and when I do that it shows that I have 39 mods instead of 40. Your last one worked but this one just  does not. any suggestions?

Â I made sure to disable the "moral characters wont rape" option but they wont do it on males. Â They will however rape female characters or female companions. Â I've tried to get Isran to rape my character multiple times, wont work. But he did however rape the spectral assassin....
Stiffon Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 So far the only problem I've had with 510 is after a gang rape by a bunch of falmer/chaurus all 4 of my followers stayed hogtied. I got up, killed everything but couldn't get my followers released! Cleaned everything that I could, but still same. Reverted to the save as entering the dungeon and just killed em all up front lol! Haven't tried to repeat it yet as am also trying to work thru the game at the same time (I only started playing Skyrim this year lol).
AnonAngelion Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 hi again.  I have just upgraded to the v5.1.0 and right off the bat I'm getting problems.  I deleted all trace of the previous defeat version just to be safe and tried it on a new game, surrender worked once but wouldn't work again unless I reloaded, also being knocked down is only working once for the assault function, I tested it with the resist function turned on and off, with resist on at first I got the 2 animations for surrender depending on if I tapped or held the button and it would still only work once tho and human character dialogue would not work, then I tried it with resist turned off and the dialogue worked once but then wouldn't work again and same for the sex scene, that wouldn't trigger either, and then...just when I thought I couldn't get any more confused as to why the mod was behaving so randomly the surrender animation reverted back to the one that was used by defeat v3.3fixed edition, u know the one where the player raises her hands in the air, I have no idea why this happened as I am sure I have deleted all trace of the previous mod, I always keep a backup file of my manually downloaded mods so that I can compare and delete what I need to without confusion.  it seems to happen to me when I go from sexing animals to sexing humans, if I haven't sexed an animal before I get the crouching with hands on head animation and the kneeling on all fours animation as long as I haven't sexed an animal yet, if I sex an animal then a human and then try an animal again it gets stuck on the hands in the air animation from the previous defeat version.  I'm not a modder myself but if I had to hazard a guess I would say that defeat v5.1.0 seems to have underlying code somewhere that is interfering with the scripts, that is just a guess of course but it seems likely, its the only reason I can think of for why animations from the past versions are muscling their way through, of course I could be talking crap lol, I know precious little about how code works, just the bare essentials.  anyway I hope this helps in some way, I love ur mod and I really hope we can sort it out so Its bug free, there's nothing more frustrating then seeing a great mod go bonkers without knowing why or how to fix it.  thanks for reading, hope this helps in some small way.
Dirty760 Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 The bounty hunters now attack properly, I don't have much experience with them but once one was a bear for some reason and one I let kill me just to test and didn't take me to prison overhaul. I reloaded and tried a couple times until he didn't show up on the next load.

Â In the MCM menu there is toggles on one of the menus that allow for male on male, female on female, male on female and female on male. I think the only one that is toggled on by default is male on female and you have to turn the rest on. Â
Blond Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Â Sorry, the V 5.xx sucks! It is bugged and instable. My game crashed even more with this version. Most time, the action key did'nt work. Follower/NPC vs NPC didn't work. Sacks can't be dropt, and mutch more buggs. I go back to V 5b3.3, that worked for me and was stable! Very useful bug report thanks... maybe I'll be able to fix those problems? If you help? btw the sack can't be dropped you just need to reuse the action key, maybe you could read the description at least a little. Â Now I've Hearthfire, Downguard and Dragonborn DLC and have reinstalled and cleaned up all my installations and mods. So, now I'll try to test the actual Defeat Version to test if there a better run / less CTD. I'll report back, if I get again problems... last time, it was frutrating...
Llares Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 I have an other issue, than the common "walk away". I'm missing some of the options after I beat down a target. I only have rob, rape, tie up, revive, when targeting victim with sheathed weapons and pressing "g"- key. When tied, I cannot choose differerent tie-ups and there is no possibility to put in sack.

But when the sex animation begins my follower unequip all remains armor getting completely naked.  Am I doing something wrong?   Defeat hands off The Sex animation process to Sexlab.  Sexlab has its own tagged parts to remove during aggressive animations, so you have 2 menus in fact to check for what gets removed.
nutluck Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Ok never mind on the clothes of aggressors. For some reason I had to rebuild sexlab for the strip for aggressors to work with the checked boxes. Not sure how or why that happened but now the stripping works fine.

khanc24 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Hey nice work on the update. Minor bug with surrender still; npc walks away 50% of the time but still functional with combat knockdown which transitions smoothly. I ignore the use of surrender and it doesn't bother me but just wanted to point it out in a mod tester's perspective. Keep it up.

Also tried using the MCM console command to boot it, but didn't work either. Any suggestions? Also new game, install/uninstall/5.0.2 also didnt work for me. Â
wulfgear09 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015  Well all is working great here.. with a new game and a cleaned save and also with a plain upgrade (install over the update before 5.1). I dont know if its something you did or I but all the defeat options health, stamina and stun are working very smoothly. I did turn up the health to 30% for my new chr and that helped a bunch without making it so a falling leaf hits you your ankles fly behind your ears.   Thanks Again.
