I've been trying to install defeat through nmm and I keep getting "this mod was not activated," when I try to activate it. Any reccomendations?

 

Check dependancies and load order.  I use NMM and had no issues.

 

Any messages in your papyrus log?

Okay, so I uninstalled Defeat, and all associated mods. Did a clean save, reinstalled, reconfigured defeat and DAYMOYL, and it worked! ONCE. Then it went back to it's normal buggy shit that I posted here: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19941-defeat-v510/page-381?do=findComment&comment=1198849.

 

It seems that it's not throwing a papyrus error, and it happens consistently, and I have to uninstall and reinstall to just enjoy one maybe two rape scenes.

 

WTH! Please help?!?! I love this mod, and really would like to continue its use, but if it is this time consuming, I'm gonna drop it, and I don't want to do that. Thanks.

 

Edit: I think I found it. Maybe. Devious Devices seems to be causing faulty script issues gave me an error after reinstallation that it was broken. I finally got an error log, couldn't get one previously. Now it had one good animation, then it broke again, this time making my enemies flee. IDK. Hopefully some of you are smarter than I, and can figure this out.

When I play as the aggressor, how do I get tied-up specific animations? I have Zaz and all other required mod installed, but the animations remain the same wheter I chose yes or no during the rape function. Also can't get pillory special animation triggered, it just play ordinary animation and have the pillory clip into the victim.

 

Update: Just figured out I need to register Sexlab first in Zaz, but now every time I tie up a victim or loosen the link the victim would change into an underwear even though they were naked before. Even when the rape animation triggers, the underwear still doesn't get removed. This didn't happen before I register in Zaz, is there something wrong?

There has been an issue with NMM where it installs a mod but after running LOOT the plugin is inactive. If you check the LOOT message it will show that active plugins are less than total plugins.

 

Easy to fix just tick the checkbox in NMM plugin list and re-run LOOT and it should work.

 

This may not be the cause of your problem but it's worth checking first.

 

I noticed that there's been another update of NMM this evening so it may be resolved now in any case

How can I enable the controls during the scenes? I'd like to be able to equip and unequip clothes during the rape scene.

I believe that using the free camera included in the Sexlab Framework allows you to manage equipment during scenes.

Does anyone have any difficulties with this mod simply not firing off the defeat event?

 

It seems to work 30%-50% of the time. I set the Wound threshhold from 0-50, with 100% onHit... Yet it takes 3 to 4 hits before it finally registers.

 

I tried installing Death Alternative, but that mod has difficulty with it as well. Upon death, my character stumbles, Defeat fails to fire off, which results in my character getting right back up with full HP. This will repeat 3 or 4 times before Defeat finally works.

 

 

 

Also, for suggestions. The trauma 10 second no-aggro thing is a little... short. It's virtually impossible to escape, even with a full sprint. Would be better if it was tied to the 180 second satisfaction timer or had its own adjustable timer.

I'd look at that log spam from Manneequins (is3dloaded).  You got 4mb log in 10 min, mines about 1mb after an hour and that's with some spam with routines checking if animations are running.

 

With that much potential of script lag from another mod, anything could be happening to the mod your working on.  Maybe with that spam, defeat runs once, but never finishes cleanly meaning it never runs again properly.

 

Try a new start.  See if you get the same log spam.  And if not and seems clean, see how defeat runs then.  If it's good, then it's your other save that has issues.

Not sure ths has been answered or not but how do you rape a NPC as a werewolf/vampire lord?

 

I don't know about vampire lord, but you can use this for werewolves.

Has anyone had an issue where if you get defeated and gangbanged, after the 3rd member, the rotation breaks and the 3rd member will continue taking endless turns with you?

 

It happens to me everytime with a group after the 3rd swap. Tried playing with the different victim settings and clean ups, but to no avail

goubo just a thought, npc rape player/follower but not spouse when kidnapped (they are all ready tied up.)

 

could that be added to defeat? or would it break the quest?

I'm not an expert, so take whatever I say with an appropriate level of skepticism.  However, I believe that in Death Alternative, you need to activate some of the Defeat scenarios in either the bleedout or blackout pages in order for Defeat to handle them appropriately.  In addition, if it's not using defeat every time, you may need to change the priorities of the Defeat scenarios so they are more frequently chosen as the event handlers.

 

Also make sure you deselect everything in the Death menu... it really sucks getting your sexyrape time interrupted by an inconvenient death from some hacked-off npc.

Earlier I said the mod doesn't trigger the event, but it does. Here's what is actually happening:

I initially noticed this issue with Death Alternative.. so then I decided to reproduce it with Defeat alone, and surely enough I did.

 

Outside of Whiterun, I spawn two dagger/bow bandits and get up on to a ruin where they can't reach me. They take out their bows and start firing at me. When they knock me over into a bleedout, I stagger a few times and get right back up.

 

I presume Defeat has some kind of mechanism in place that will auto-recover you if NPCs cannot reach you.. This feature causes massive issues when using Death Alternative, because Death Alternative restores your HP during the bleedout phase until you recover.

 

Defeat does work, but because you don't stay down, you simply stand right back up with full HP.

 

It would be nice if Defeat scrapped that auto-recover feature.

 

 

 

By the way, this bug can be triggered almost 100% of the time when you're being shot at with a bow and the NPC has no direct path to you.

It does tend to happen vs melee NPCs as well though.. Maybe about 30% of the time.

 

 

I'm getting CTDs whenever I have my character rape a bandit, rape a corpse, or try to rape a bandit or corpse that she has moved to another location with a sack. I also get CTDs if I try to fast travel while carrying a bandit in a sack, and after these CTDs I have to load from an earlier save because the autosave is corrupted. Furthermore after bringing a hunter to Lakeview Manor to tie up and rape in my basement in hopes of knocking her up everything in the entire manor was claimed by that NPC and it would count as stealing to take my own stuff. Please fix this.

 

Not quite sure what's going on with your bandits... but if you CTD on Necrophilia:

 

1. Esc -> Mod Configuration -> ZaZ Animation Pack

2. Click on SexLab

3. Click SexLab Animations -> Register

 

This should stop necrophilia and other SL-related CTDs...

Hey, this mod is very nice, but... i change my pc yesterday, and, on my other pc, it runs the mod, but on this one, the game crashs, or don't have animation, it's defeat problem, or sexlab framework?

Has anyone had the issue of Defeat, Death Alternative, or Sexlab (not sure which is the issue) causing bandits to tell you to stay down, and then you stay down indefinitely?

 

Also, i'm now having Bandits who instead of raping me, leave my clothes on and masturbate for me.... kinda... awkward ;<.<

 

Bandit: "Oh you like that? Want more"

 

Me: [in monotone] "oh no.... so horrible... stop... stop.. please...its horrible.. it hurts just watching.."

Be nice if you could surrender as a male character, and let the NPCs use your Followers after tying you up, without submitting yourself to a forced gay scene.

 

If you dont want gay sex, there either has to be a female enemy around to surrender to, or you just dont use the mod at all. An implementation to have a scene continue where they tie up the PC and then just go to the followers for their preference would make this mod very legit. The option to allow anyone to knock you down is helpful, but it doesn't matter since after they knock you down a scene still doesn't take place unless you allow them to not have sexual preference and booty ram you. You'll just be left knocked down, untied and free to recover while they attempt to go after your follower, and will usually make that a very glitchy affair because of the fact a scene isn't taking place with you.

 

My current workaround is just letting myself go down from Death Alternative, or the method stated above, but that makes the mod go pretty wonky from the NPCs beating up my follower, ghetto style, while they're down.

Would be awesome if this was taken care of in an update? Just use preference as a means to direct a scene, rather than to see if a scene even begins. PC gets knocked down, tied up, dialogue for payment/etc comes up, same stuff. Then when the fun begins they'll either just go to the followers, or go to the PC as well if the sexuality mandates it.

 

Edit: Well, best workaround right now is to disable Sexuality, but make the PC's chance of being assaulted 0%. The starting dialogue of a scene will go normally, but the AI will always state they're not interested in you and want (whichever follower). However, this means if there are female AI they wont try anything, and you cant experience any of the ending events since the AI will really just leave you there forever until you decide to break out of your binds and kill them.

Hi Goubo, I wanted to sugest an option to prevent player from dying or taking damage after certain tresshold if it is possible... Since often the scripts take too long to start doing work and most of the time player just dies instead of surrender or submiting..... TY for you time

This is the main reason Death Alternative is suggested, I believe. Since it will stop you from dying and put you in a bleedout state. Defeat has a way of allowing you to still be knocked down for an event to start while you're in a bleedout state from DA.

This scenario can happen, keep in mind that the gender combination settings for followers are in NPC vs NPC, so if your char is male and the follower female you need to enable Male vs female in npc vs npc and disable sex settings in player as victim then enable knockdown by everyone.

 

Of course this particular scenario probably need testing but I did think of it when I wrote the code.

 

Also, do not use the sexuality method, as it is for now the sexuality function in SexLab needs to be rewritten, it sets almost everyone as bisexual, Ashal will do it for the next version of SexLab.

The script cancels the defeat scene when the next aggressor isn't near the player after 15 seconds, beside this time limit and a distance check on hit there is nothing in Defeat that will make you get on your feet immediately, if this is the case check papyrus log it should throw a lot of errors, you must be talking about the DA-Defeat transition

 

The transition DA-Defeat on knockdown is this: DA fires, knockdown happen but the recover event is triggered immediately then it starts a knockdown event, Defeat in this case, might not be ideal but I can't do much more to improve this on my part.

That is because there is a 2 second cooldown bewteen hits, I had to add that to avoid to much script stress because they are registering every hit on the player and npcs

Hi Goubo,

 

Following on from this issue above, I got eaten by 2 death hounds. Realised that sometimes, after 1 rape, the other would take over and the first hound would start attacking me again. Most of the time it wouldn't. Reloaded over and over trying to see what caused this. Would only happen sometimes, mostly not.

 

Then I realised that most of the time, the same hound would take all the turns for himself and the other hound. The second hound would have no action at all. Occasionally the second hound would get his turn. In that event, the first hound would always always go aggro. I've attached a log, although it contains a few reloads and a few cases where stuff happened, like a hound killing me without triggering defeat. 

 

I hope its not too messy to tell you anything. I'd be happy to try again to get a clearer log, with fewer reloads and most mods turned off.

 

I'll try and get a log detailing the issue I discussed in the quote above, how gangbangs with human enemies always lead to the 3rd (or 4th?) guy getting stuck and taking all the remaining turns himself. I can't do so at present but will when I can.
