Posting again with more info, hopefully somebody recognizes what I've done wrong.

 

Here is my problem:

 

 

 

Having a problem with surrender.  No matter which creature or character I try to surrender to, I get the "You can't surrender to this creature/character" (or whatever it says) message in the top left.  Is there some kind of condition I'm missing or a setting I've messed up?  I double-checked that I have FNIS creatures installed, creature anims are enabled in Sexlab and in the defeat menu, and I'm only attempting to surrender to creatures that are sexlab supported.  This problem is also happening with NPCs.  Is there are setting I'm missing?

 

Here is what is happening in game.  This happens with all NPCs and all creatures:

Newest version of Defeat was installed using the "clean save" method and tool referenced in the OP.  I have also checked and double checked that FNIS creatures is installed and the FNIS for users tool has been run multiple times.  Is there any other information needed to get to the bottom of this?

 

EDIT: The other features of Defeat work fine (I can assault other NPCs, for example), and other sexlab mods work just fine.  Its only the surrender mechanic that seems to be not working.  "Player as Victim" IS enabled.

I've actually been going through my mods and come to the conclusion that this isn't the only mod issue I'm having.  I've decided to do a from-scratch clean reinstall of everything following the STEP process.  When I get Core & Extended installed and start reinstalling all of my sexlab addons, I'll see if this is still an issue.

having an issue with the tie permanently command. After about 24 hours they go back to their default script . Will note that the struggle animation does run even when they are set to Permanently tied.

Just asking have selected which animation are tagged as aggresive in the FRAMEWORK also MORALITY if set affects what an who will rape your character, TOGGLE ANIMATION  on/off  you can set any animation as aggressive keep in mine with aggressive checked in DEFEAT only animation set as aggressive in SEXLAB FRAMEWORK (toggle animation) can be used by DEFEAT

I was having trouble to get the Controller to work. It seems like the version of UIExtensions that is included in EFF 4.0 Beta13  is somehow incomplete or different from the standalone version. I didn't try the latest version of EFF yet, because I was too lazy to cleansave again (that PerMa-patcher always takes forever..), but I installed the standalone version of UIExtensions (v1.2) after EFF and now the Controller is working. With the EFF version there was just the frozen screen without the menu until I pressed ESC, even after the second or third try. 

 

And I also wanted to thank you for including that coitus interruptus option. I have to play a little more with it, but so far it seems to work flawlessly.  :)

I just finished reinstalling Skyrim and installing STEP Core and STEP Extended.  Ran through Helgan to confirm everything was working, then saved at Riverwood and installed Sexlab, Zaz, Aroused, and Defeat.  I was having the same issue as some others in this thread where the initial surrender works but then the "attacker" just stares at me and doesn't initiate the animation.

 

Reset animations and that seemed to work.  Surrender mechanic seems to be working as advertised.  Thanks!

 

EDIT: To clarify, it seems my original issue stemmed from the haphazard way I'd installed all my tons of mods.

Hang on, just tried it again and its hanging again.  Moved on to another wolf and tried surrender.  Surrender animation works but then the wolf just stares me down for a few seconds and goes back to attacking.  I can keep hitting k and all it does is pause him for a few seconds.  Tried resetting animations and it didn't work.  Gonna try reloading and see if that does anything.

 

EDIT: I restarted the game, same issue.  Not sure how I got it to work the first time.  Gonna keep playing with things and see whats up.

Did you try Defeat's Clean Up option? Script might've gotten stuck.

 

Edit: Hmm, this is a shot in the dark, but perhaps a mod conflict? And do you use NMM or MO to install mods or manually.

MO.  I just completed a total reinstall of Skyrim with STEP Core and STEP Extended.  The only mods I have in are STEP Core/Extended, Sexlab, Zaz, Aroused, and Defeat.

 

Did the cleanup, I'm not sure if it'll work or not yet.  I hit K and the damn wolf bolted for a deer and got killed by a crab, and I got stuck in the surrender pose.

 

EDIT: Just tried it on a bandit and reloaded and tried another wolf, same result both times after doing a cleanup each time.  Enemy goes peaceful for a couple of seconds then goes right back to attacking me.

 

EDIT 2: I redid FNIS and reloaded a slightly earlier save.  Animation worked, and I was able to get assaulted a second time by the same creature by immediately resetting anims and cleaning up defeat as soon as I'd "recovered".  I'll see if I can get further action.

In "Player as Victim", please add an option to destroy gear (insteqad of steal/strip/unequip).

 

Imagine how my poor mage's robes would be ripped to shreds by some huge orc or troll.

After playing for a while I've noticed that the "rob assault" feature in NPC vs NPC actually does work, but it only works if there's no sexual assault,, it's an either/or situation and it is described as such. I assume that if I had a kill assault enabled and non essential followers that would also be a choice. I noticed after setting females to not assault so female bandits started robbing my followers.

 

Would it be too much trouble to have an option of "rob assault" triggering before "sexual assault", like having both things happen much like the player can get robbed after getting assaulted.

so I've been running into a couple of problems since using Defeat.  I can't seem to use the activation key to do anything to people I'm sneaking up on, and while I can stealth choke someone with 'G' it always seems to alert everyone nearby, even if they're outside the building I'm.  I've already done a clean install, and even used the options in MCM to try and fix this.  I'm about to start a new game to see if that might fix what's wrong, but I'm hoping someone here might have some more ideas for me to try.

Ok new update

Still some stuff to do, I've added a wip category in the description for you to know what I'm working on for the next update.

V5.1.0

To update: Just uninstall V5.0.2 and install the V5.1.0, in game the mod will update itself, no need to uninstall/reinstall the mod with the MCM option.

General

- Added Arrok in the credits for his resist animation, added Cotyounoyume for some of his animations from Estrus. Really sorry to have forgot that.
- Added a security function to try to stop NPCs from hitting sex victim during a SexLab scene.
- Added the possibility to unbind the hotkeys of the mod, you’ll have to press Escape to unbind a key when MCM asks you what key you wish to use.
- Fixed some more grammar/spelling mistakes
- Fixed Female on male SexLab animations.

Player as Victim

Overhaul of the system (again) 5 slots for sexual aggressors and 5 slots for accomplices (for collateral, cheer etc.), it should result in a far more fluid scene progression.

- Added the option “Insatiable aggressors”, if enabled the aggressors satisfied buff will be removed at the end of the scene, this way they will always be horny if they knock down the player a second time. (Like the old versions of the mod basically)
- Rewritten resist function: Changed the chance algorithm for something simpler, will check for the two highest skills.
Note: if the victim has the raped debuff they have less chance to resist, they also have less chance to resist if the aggressor is a male and the victim a female. (Not that much)
Removed the MCM options for the two primary skills, they are no longer needed.
- Added a gamepad detection so Attack left/right combination is always chosen over Strafe left/right (If set in the MCM menu)
- Fixed QTE not working with gamepad because the function IsKeyPressed does not take into account gamepad button press, I have added a workaround that should work.
- Fixed the bug where the script would keep going even if the player managed to escape when they were waiting for their follower and are watched by the rest of the aggressors.
- Changed OnActivate by OnItemRemoved event for the robber in the robbed quest, should be more reliable.
- Fixed Robber quest.

Player as Aggressor

- After loading the game, the player was not able to empty their sack if they had one when saving the game. If you have a save with this problem just use Clean up function it should fix it.
- Fixed the force sex dialogue line for yield function when the victim resist, nothing was happening because there was nothing…  :P sorry yield stuff is pretty much wip.
Now the same struggle phase that is used for the player as victim will trigger.
- Automatically put an unconscious NPC is a Defeat unconscious state so you can interact with the NPC.
- Added missing scripts for yield.
- Added support for paradise halls sexlab extension from blabla11: possibility to use the capture function through yield dialogues.
- Added rape with player option for tied NPCs.
- Fixed rape with player option transition, added a time limit of 5 seconds so the script doesn’t get blocked when the player moves toward the victim.
- Fixed the broken as fuck permanently tied option. Correct permanently poses menu will now appear.
- Added “Loosen links” option that will appear only for permanently tied NPCs, if used the NPC will not be permanently tied anymore.
“Tighten links” option is also now hidden if the NPC is permanently tied (Since it is useless in this case).
- Putting a NPC in a special device (currently only Pillory) automatically permanently tie the NPC.
- Changed all the names in the poses menu to be something clear (Example: ZapYokePose10 -> (Yoke10) Sitting squat, legs spread).
- Added Wake and tie option for knockout state.

NPC vs NPC

- Fixed checkactor function, the script should now properly stop when rescue function is used or one of the actor dies.

- Added the possibility for the follower to ask the player to join the sex scene when they are about to sexually assault their victim. There is now a new MCM option “Auto threesome distance” under “Settings for followers” in NPC vs NPC.

 

 

Also added a donation button in the mod's description, hope that's ok?

Very cool on the fixes will test this out as soon as I get a chance and provide some feedback.

On the rape debuff have a resist debuff and the female victim with male aggressor, any chance we can maybe instead or get gender sliders. What I mean is sliders to give them a bonus to resist or subdue someone else, like this.

Men - 25% (slider goes from 0-100% or maybe higher)

Women - 0% (slider same as men)

 

That would mean defeat would factor in the skills and men would get a 25% bonus, so men vs men would be a net zero as both would have the bonus, same with women vs women, but a man on a woman would have a 25% to his skills.

 

Could also be nice if there was a race slider for the playable races. I mean it could make sense it is easier for a orc to over power or resist a breton for example.

 

As for the donation you deserve it and if I get the new job I am hoping I will donate.

It has to do with the stripping, I have in sexlab stripping set to remove pretty much everything, but for some reason the NPC's are only removing their torso and leaving on their helmet, weapons, boots, gloves. I don't know why. Anyways it would be nice if you set it so the aggressor was stripped by Sexlab or you built in your own check list for NPC aggressors on what they stripped for sex. It just looks weird to see a NPC with a a sword hanging from their hip with no belt, or wearing a helmet and rubbing their face in breasts etc.

 

That is the only issue I ran into that I think needs to be addressed so far. I will do some more testing later.

I'm repeatedly run into the same problem with 5.0.2. Everytime my PC gets defeated by vampires, mages or other magic orientated npc's the next time she's been defeated and the resist bar appears, her opponents ignored her to become hostile again when she gets up just to knock her down and ignore her again. Maybe it has to do something with DA I'm running alongside it, because that mod also starts to act weird.

After several cleaning, reconfiguration and reinstall attempts I've rolled back to the 5b3.3fixed one again, because for me that one runs more smoothly. 5.0.2 itself offers several great additions/changes so I hope I can get it work.

 

Someone has an idea what can cause this and how to fix this.

 

I'll give 5.1.0 a try though, although the change log doesn't mention a clue/fix.

Hi, grats on the update.

Still, I'm having a strange problem. After I tied up my victim if I chose "Put in a sack" I have the tied up options. If I chose "Tied up options" my character and my victim stay stuck in idle.

I can't do anything and I have to reload a save.

 

It seems some scripts are crossed. I'll try the clean up option.

 

Edit: Cleanup did change anything... :(

I think defeat has its own stripping option... i cant exactly remember where, but in v5b3.3 you can choose to do unequip, strip, steal, or no effect for quite a few body slots. I set it so that any successful aggressors would steal both the torso and armour of my PC and sometimes they would then equip them, making the revenge kill more immersive as i took them back. However as the agressor, i didn't want to auto-steal any old bandit sword whenever defeat triggered so i set that to strip. I think there's an MCM option for helmets and gloves and all that already integrated separate to sexlab settings.

 

TLDR: I think there's already an MCM option for stripping in defeat for each body slot.

Bug Reports

 

Unfortunately these are intermittent, which are the worst sort of problems. I ran the Defeat "Clean" routine first btw.

 

Tested mainly at Whiterun, post assault events mainly firing off correctly but on two occasions had the animation hang at the end so the Robbed event would not start. Tried advancing it but got an instant ctd.

 

To test DA "On Blackout", on three tests with post events set to zero (except robbed which was set at 100%), after pc gets up and is hit again on two occasions I got a ctd on the third it worked correctly and DA kicked in correctly.

 

Tested Rescue, at Whiterun pc was able to move from the bed at the Bannered Mare. Tested in Morthal and pc controls were locked again.

 

Devious Captures worked correctly throughout btw

 

Could also do with a link to tell DCL sex attacks not to kick in while Defeat events are running. I don't think it causes a problem but I had sex attacks disabled for the duration of the testing.
