Derpakiin Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Gentlemen, after hours and hours of troubleshooting on my own I have discovered the problem that might be causing most of you to get stuck. I've installed/uninstalled mods, done clean installs, updated JContainers, reverted saves, script cleaning, almost everything under the sun, until I discovered this: Â It has to do with SKSE. Â There is a line in your SKSE.ini file called: Â [General]ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 Â Normally it is useful for clearing save game bloats but unfortunately it has problems distinguishing what is an invalid registration and what isn't. It seems to cause problems with other mods like familiar faces making alcoves bugging out and SL Defeat getting suck performing animations. This is because SKSE keeps removing the defeat scripts, and defeat keeps fighting this by re-intitializing the script only to have SKSE remove it again. Â I recommend this new line: Â [General]ClearInvalidRegistrations=0 Â Â Â Â Now I've done some testing on my own and SL Defeat appears to be working normally now. It seems that the new version of SKSE (at least versions 1.7 and above) snuck this code in and explains why my older games running on older SKSE version never had this problem. Â If you do experience savegame bloat, you can reinitialize the SKSE code and let the savegame run for a while so that it can do its cleaning and later disable it so that Defeat and other mods can do their thing. I will need more people to test this and confirm with me that this can help solve their issues. This has worked for me and if this fix works for you do let me know in this thread.

There are still people posting video on YOUTUBE they ate taken down as soon as a complant about the sex is filed however a youtuber named shawn has been doing a extremely censored RPG with DEFEAT an over 130 mods for more that 6 months an more than 60 video,s so as I have said it is still a very solid mod . When ever you are ready to release the next DEFEAT we,ll be waiting .

No matter what I change the options to, no matter how much I set the threshold or bonus chance, they always resist. I even put myself in god mode and the npc had 23% health pass the threshold I set and still resisted. Like help pwease?

Â I'm also playing solo and only using followers as they are meant to be used (shield walls/backup). Â I only take them while adventuring and when I'm done they get dismissed. Â I'm not having problems with crashing other than Skyrim twerking out if I play more than two hours without exiting the game and then going back in. Â My load order is light for Skyrim (about 30 esps) but I am running Sexlab, SOS, Lovers Comfort, Arroused, Attraction and all of the DLCs. Â Defeat isn't giving me any problems but I'm not using DAYMOYL, Submit, Live Another Life, Helgen Reborn or other mods that screwed my game in the past. Â Too many script changes, added scripts, cloak spells checking every NPC for everything imaginable, etc. Â I don'tr think Defeat is the core problem. Â It might be a part of it, but I'm using Defeat without issue. Â I noticed when I installed DD to test some mods that I got a slow down in scripts and more crashes. I chalked it up to me pushing my system to the limit but maybe DD is just that heavy of a mod.

And from everything else i heard aroused redux ain't that great either, but it is definitely better than the previous aroused.   It sucks that so many amazing mods have dependencies on SLA or SLA Redux, otherwise I wouldn't have installed it. Deathmaw Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I cant get his to work no matter what I try.  Everything is up to date. All other sexlab mods work fine. But this just screws up. If I surrender to an enemy and pick the option to take what they want, they walk up to me and after a couple of seconds start attacking me again.  I have also been sent to bleed out state several times and they do nothing after trying to strip me.  It isn't script lag as every other mod that relies on scripts works fine and my script latency is acceptable.  I am running this with death alternate and SD+, they both work fine. I have them unticked as I dont want the aggressive anims playing in normal sex.   They don't need to be ticked in normal, there is also a SL option that will cause animations ticked as aggressive to not play during normal animations (I don't use that because I have lots of non-aggressive animations tagged as aggressive for varieties sake).  Only other animation related issue I can think of is making sure you have zaz animations registered and possibly reset base animations in Zaz as well, if your character is bound.  Edit: Ah yea Sray is probably correct, forgot I used the toggle page to purge most of the old AP animations.  If you don't want aggressive animations showing up in non-aggressive scenarios you'll want the toggle button checked and aggressive animations marked as such.
srayesmanll Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Actually, I believe that they DO need to be ticked in Normal. "Normal" determines whether it is used at all, "foreplay" means it can be used in foreplay as well, "aggressive" means it can be used in aggressive animations. There is also a checkbox the limits aggressive animations to ONLY be played in aggressive situations.
Kendo 2 Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Yeah, if you go in to the Sexlab MCM section for Toggle Animations the first option is for enabling or disabling animations period. Â If it is unchecked there it won't play at all, no matter the situation. Â As far as Zaz goes, I don't have those animations registered in Sexlab because I do not like pillories magically spawning on top of beds or in dungeons. Â The animations still work when called on by mods that use Zaz, but I don't experience them out of context, which is nice.Â

If I use "All Down" or "Original" the scene doesn't start and my character just stands back up. Â Note: I have morality and relationship set to 100% so that it is not a factor.
h87dst54 Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 I have reinstalled my game to get it to work with other sexlab features but for some reason defeat won't work this time. Last playthrough it worked fine. This time no matter how many clean installs and new games I make I can't activate the mod in MCM, it keeps telling me to close but when I close NOTHING HAPPENS. When I check back it keeps saying that the mod isn't active! What should I do?
