D_ManXX2 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 ok after doing a clean save it seem to work correctly only problem still remaining is the animation don't seem to work like post tie up etc.. they just stand in a T-pose now ?? Did you remember to run FNIS after updating the mod? yes i did, but looks like sexlab animations limitations where the cause. i use nsap witch add more animation sexlab can handle so by deactivating some animations from it's lists did defeat own animation registrered correctly maybe it needs to be put on first thread not too use all animations slot or else defeat cannot use it's own animations. Too Goubo good job on new version transition seem to be much more smooth then before.

I did however have an issue : When I tie up an NPC the animations do not trigger for some reason and the NPC doesn't get tied up. Do I need to update Zaz animations? Anyone else had this issue?Also, the MCM descriptions go offscreen, this is a little bit annoying because I couldn't see whith mods Defeat detected. dumb question, i should download V5b3.3fixed.rar or Defeat V5.0.1.rar? or both? Defeat V5.0.1.rar The V5b3.3fixed.rar is the beta (older) version of V5 and was there for testing purposes.

Frezzy Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 That happened to me too. I THINK it just takes longer to register than we're used to. I ended up just going into 3rd person and letting the camera go into free spin. I waited about 10 minutes real time and it showed up. I made a new save and did something else for about 20 mins and the menu still didn't show up. I have no clue how to fix it.

In this case my character solicited the Barkeep in Riverwood for rough sex. The other patrons were not pleased and killed Ognar for it. I cannot seem to get this to stop even unchecking the intervention and comments doesn't seem to change this. Not sure if this would persist in a new game. I did delete all references to Defeat as per the front page picture and my savefile has no orphanes. Might have to roll back to the previous iteration that seemed to work fine. It seems like this is the case for aggressive animations, I have a lot of mods but I think Defeat is doing it but not 100% sure. With Paradise Halls + extension if i choose to punish my slave with sex most any friendly NPC that has LoS will attack me. This happened in the Bannered Mare, to remedy this I go upstairs to the rented bedroom and I can perform the animation without interruption so it is LoS. I actually really like this feature it is just like Spectator Guards (or w/e the name is), this could be a Paradise Halls feature though. For those having trouble with the sacking of NPCs, this seems to happen especially upon loading a save game. What I have found to fix this is to open the inventory and attempt to drop the sack, it will not let you and it will reequip it, pressing your Action key will then allow you to release the NPC, this has worked every time for me.

It would appear that a step was in fact missed. I started a new game and the option to disallow moral intervention worked as I imagine it was intended.
Highwayman300 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I am currently having a very game breaking bug with the current version of defeat. Whenever an animation ends, the character will get up, and stand there without taking any action. This applies to any actors nearby. Controls are disabled, and can't be enabled with the console. Trying to debug with Sexlab's and MCM menus didn't solved the issue. Killing/disabling the actors wont work either. Only way of "fixing" the issue is by disabling defeat in the MCM, however, if activated again, will CTD upon fighthing an enemy. Anyone can help with this?
2Dimm Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 i also have a problem, when i press "K" to surrender my character will stay in this position \/ and nothing happens until they start attacking me again... but the player as aggressor part work perfectly edit: I did some more tests, and i noticed that what happens is when i surrender they start chasing random things, like rabbits, horses or mudcrabs and ignore me, and when they finally decide to give me attention... nothing happens
ttpt Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 New version seems to work for the most part, though the rob feature seems to be really finicky. Followers don't seem to have their stuff robbed on a consistent manner they don't even get disarmed, even if I set their equipment to steal on npc vs npc setting. I haven't tested with creatures yet, but setting equipment to steal on npc vs npc used to have the bad side of effect of triggering strip and having equipment drop all over the map, which is bad for save game bloat.
Marcus01 Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 - have the bodybag weigh something I thought it weighs 10 pounds? If you were thinking real weight some overhaul mods would not work well with it at all, for example Requiem where you start only being able to carry 90-100 pounds.

This results in weird behavior happening that does not happen when I start a new game. So if your having issues heads up you didn't manage to remove all traces from your game first. Basically it could be that my save game cleaner could be better but anyways when I have a brand new game the issues mentioned above don't happen. So idk get a more recent cleaner and try again or start over.

It didn't turn out that way. I followed the instructions on the main page, ran Save Game cleaner, reinstalled HDT Physics and the XP32 skeleton, redid everything in MCM and my game was good to go. My usual luck with Skyrim and updating a mod is just like you said; 'start a new character'. It didn't work out that way this time so either I was lucky, the v5 update isn't that bad or it was a combination of both.

It didn't work out that way this time so either I was lucky, the v5 update isn't that bad or it was a combination of both. the save game script cleaner is great tool, i got a lot mod updated/reinstalled by using this and game is still very playable, no ctd at all anyway, do i need to config defeat or DAYMOYL somehow for better compability? wall of checkbox scare me

I can confirm that starting an absolutely new game has Defeat working properly. Though I am wondering what exactly is the old Defeat V5 leaving behind in my old save game.
