I just went through a quick new game and indeed, after loading a few packs and manual save and loading I get a CTD on the load screen. I wish I knew what was casuing this.

Hi, i have a problem with SLAL's mcm menu where i go to click it, expecting the normal intrerface, and get a menu just saying "sexlab animation loader" in the left collumn and nothing on the right.

Open the console to make sure that SexLab isn't registering animations.

 

SLAL takes some seconds to show up the MCM because have to read all the JSON files and the registered animations. Takes more time if the SexLab is busy registering animations or with the setup process.

 

Send me the "papyrus.0.log" to check if is everything ok.

Thanks for getting back to me! i resolved this issue by just using the older version tho. At least for now until i decide to update it. Should I test it anyway to make sure it's just me being impatient?

having issues getting this to work. whenever i go into the MCM it is blank and i dont see any options. this isnt an issue of the packs not loading in. 

 

Im on Jcontainers v. 4.1.13

skse 2.0.17

skyrim 1.5.97 or whatever the one before the game went to AE

 

ive sat in the menu for a good 30 minutes and tried closing and reopening. not really sure where to go from this point any advice would be greatly appericated thanks.

Having the same problem - SL Animation Loader never registers the animation packs installed, cannot tick animations, therefore cannot register animations. This has happened across 3 hours of gameplay and 1 hour in the MCM. Is the current version Anniversary Edition compatible? 

 

Edit: JContainers *was* running, but it was the default JContrainers download from the page, not the JContainers AE version buried in the files. Sometimes the lengths that modders go to with the goal of hiding their work confuses me.

So how long would animations take to register?

 

I've been waiting a few minutes for them to register and notice missing animations for some actors

 

I have roughly 16000 animations installed

Quite a few minutes with that many. The more you have, the longer it takes. Quality of your PC matters as well...

I set it up and then went away for some 30 minutes. They're all done now

It takes me about 5 mins for 20,000-22,000 animations, but I have shiny PC ;)

I'm trying to compile my .json files from source, but the included Python program is not recognising any .txt or .py files when I attempt to load the source folder containing them. It's not even recognising example.txt from this very download. Is anybody else having this issue?

Make sure of execute the file "SLAnimGenerate.pyw" of this Mod that should be copied into the folder "SLAnims" of the animation pack where is your source TXT. Is better execute it without your Mod Manager or it will see and compile all the animation packs installed.

 

 

The "SLAnimGenerate.pyw" of this SL Animation Loader is the most updated you can find so don't waste you'r time with another file. The file should be on the right place to be able to detect the source files.

 

Also make sure of use a updated version of Phyton 

 

 

By the way the "Example.txt" file will be ignored until you comment, remove or set it's "is_example" property as FALSE.

 

All the instructions are commented on "Example.txt" file

Turns out the problem was simple and entirely on my end (as usual), I misread the readme: I thought I was supposed to load just the source folder containing the category files. I see we have to load the entire root Data folder (which includes he tSLAnims and Meshes folders along with all their subfolders). Was my fault, I apologise. It works perfectly fine now :)

 

Also I am using only this .pyw, no other file. I have not downloaded other ones or modified them in any way.

Is there a working alternative to Sexlab Tools to do this : After sexlab framework random scene starts, immediatly choose one Scene/set of anims from a list of all registered anims ?

This problem have bugged me since ages since Sexlab Tools list never (ever) show the complete list of successfully anims registered in SLAL. I have tried everything.

The list depends on the order you register them, more or less, but never correspond to the total registered, unless you register "not too many".

 

I just tried  sexlab sslAnimationsSlots 2000 to see if SLAL was the problem, but it doesnt change anything. if i enable all  installed anims in SLAL blindly, i have like 215 + anims registered but Sexlab tools menu shows only a portion of them. (I guess i m under the SLAL limit and AnimationsSlots 2000 is not yet needed ?...)

 

I know it sounds like a sexlab tools problem but i asked there "ages" (long) time ago, and i m tired of testing again and again. 

At least now i know what is the culprit, so i m searching for an alternative to do a simple thing : select the anim set i want with a few clics.

 

I got a few SLAL packs waiting for testing/install, but i cant even use the one i have without headaches *sighs*

Definitely not related with SLAL.

To start, none mod will show you the 2000 animations for your combination of actor's.

In first place each animation is made with one fixed amount of actor's in mind so SexLab won't allow you play 3some animations with just 2 actors.

In second place SexLab have filters on it's "Animation Settings" page that when are enabled, will filter out animations from the playlist. So you will have to disable those filters and any other filter on the SexLab Tools. 

 

And of course you need the SexLab Tools that allow you load more than 125 animations.

@OsmelMC This question may sound stupid, but how do i build animations using SLAL + ZaZ + DD (Currently playing latest AE)?

Which should i register first?

DD, ZaZ, SLAL?
DD, SLAL, ZaZ?
ZaZ, DD, SLAL?
...

DD have it's own system that register it's Animations to be used just by DD and is better if you don't mess with that.

 

The ZaZ animations are on DD with another name and more updated but you probably want to get them with the ZaZ devices in which case you will have to go to the SexLab page on the "ZaZ Animations Pack" MCM to build and register the ZaZ Animations. This isn't automatic so you will have to do it every time you reset the SexLab Animations Register or in my case I made a JSON file to automatically load the ZaZ Animations with the SLAL.

 

I recommend you my "SexLab Utility Plus" if you want to play with ZaZ and DD. SLU+ comes with animation filters for both systems that can be enabled

 

 

The order to register don't matter because DD register it's own animations at the Load Game event.

 

Just don't Reset the Animation Register after register the ZaZ Animations or you will have to register the ZaZ Animations again. I use to register the animations with the SLAL and once done I use to check the ZaZ Animations Pack and Mods like Estrus that comes with they own animations.

Hello, I have an issue with SL Animation loader. My animation's won't register no matter what, Jcontainers (SE) is active and presumably working, and sexlab has been installed and activated through MCM.

Whenever I register animations, It says "Registered xx Animations" (where xx is the amount of enabled animations) but when I press "count animations" it shows that all of them are still unregistered. Can anyone help me?

I'm on SE 1.5.97 if anyone needs to.

You should check the amount of registered animations on the last page of the SexLab MCM. Sound like you already reached the max amount of animations allowed for your SexLab in which case you can install the
