AwfulArchdemon Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I was hoping the same thing. Never intended on making animals shit, just people. Also, is there supposed to be a use for the shit? It let's me...pick it up. Can't find it in my inventory though. Sup with that? I wanna fling it at someone.
NicoleDragoness Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Manure is an alchemy ingredient (damage health, if you want to ... ehm ... taste it!).
Schrodinger's Trap Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 I cant seem to be able to get this mod to work, it isn't showing up at all in the mcm Sometimes it might take up to a few minutes for the MCM menu to appear. At least this happens in my game when I do a clean install to test new version. This mod works fine for me except the followers part (at least, I never saw them do something). But there is a BIG problem with the use of the Manure (required) mod. EVERY single animal in Skyrim drops TONS of manures. I'm using some mods about more Animal population inside cities and around them and, too much fast, I ended up with AT LEAST 568 manure things rolling aorund! OMG! I was forced to manually disable by console dozens of chickens, goats, dogs, cows and so on. Not talking about foxes, wolves, deers etc in the wilderness. Do you know a workaround? Maybe a modified version of your mod that uses ONLY manure meshes and textures for your own mod WITHOUT enabling the manure mod itself? Only the mesh and the sound files from Manure mod are required. You can deactivate the esp. I should put this in bold in the op. Edit: I've put it in bold in the op that Manure mod's esp is not required.
NicoleDragoness Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Well, I discovered by myself this workaround but I'm glad I was useful for other users.
jdods13 Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Excellent mod here! I have two suggestions! 1: For your mod maybe change the poop model to something smaller and more log shaped 2: Have an MCM option to pause urine/defecation point gain when talking or when in combat I know you can have the self wetting when your health gets too low... personally I turn this off but you could still have it kick in when in combat even if you select to pause point gain during combat... I tend to have to fight dragons for hours (game time) and with all the adrenalin and perspiration you really wouldn't just piss yourself in the middle of combat... No battle hardened warrior would EVER live that down. I was fighting a dragon when I dodged his bite and jumped back in for a critical charge attack only to start pissing on the dragon's face while I laid into his scaly head... i'll admit...this was freaking hilarious.... but immersion breaking. Also right after Fus-Roh-Daing Kematu into a wall then lopping his head off in front of Saadia I heard a line of dialogue from her that I've NEVER heard before! She said. "Now that, is a real man!" I strutted my Dova-dude over to her and explained the situation and then using the sexlab romance mod asked her if she wanted to have a little fun which she accepted... only issue was during the entire convo my character was pissing all over her feet... again... this was freaking hilarious... but immersion breaking.
DSXX Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I'm hoping that the stream (unsure if diff for females) in the future is less exaggerated, possibly thinner, maybe altered a bit in colour and not as loud either. Definitely not as loud lol. Heck, if you could give it the transparent type effect ENB's can give rain would be nice too.

DSXX Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Yeah I've noticed the same. I thought it was due to my character having nothing big to drop, lol. Hope this can be sorted out as I really don't want animals dropping manure everywhere and could do with one less esp in my load list.
NicoleDragoness Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Yes. Deactivating the manure's esp all visual and sound effects about it are missed. Btw, I agree on some disappointements I read here: 1. Urine "flux" is too large and its sound is too loud. I think also that its colour is too intense. 2. The manure idea is good (even if with the problems above) but the mesh is absolutely too big. It's good for a cow, I suppose, not surely for a nice Warrior Girl. Note that these are not bad criticisms. I like the idea and how the mod was built. I only hope on some "refined" things. In the meantime, keep you good work. TY
Schrodinger's Trap Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 For people getting invisible poop after deactivate manure mod. Did you just deactivate the esp or did you deactivate the entire mod. You still need the assets just not the esp. As for people who think the poop is too big. Pamfolette has provided a smaller poop mesh some time ago. I just haven't added it yet. I'm currently working on making the new hygiene feature hopefully as bug free as possible, so it won't turn out like the defecate feature which was buggy as hell when I first released it. I can't really do anything about the urine stream since it's part of Zaz's animation pack.
NicoleDragoness Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I just unchecked the manure's esp in the loadlist but the BSA file is still in place. Even so, there is no object and no sound related to the ... poop.
CGi Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 if you disable the ESP, the BSA won't be loaded. You need to put the BSA in skyrims ini, to force-load it. if you use MO, just click the checkbox, next to the BSA. Should be enough, but didn't test it yet.

I forgot that I extracted the stuff from the bsa so it works for me. I think manure mods permission statues allow me to upload his files here too which I will when I release the next update which if I don't run into any more problems, should be done in one or two days. I'll also add in the smaller poop model.
DSXX Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Ah didn't know it was in a BSA. Are you able to look into the urine stream at least? Or would you have no idea what you're doing? The sounds are the biggest problem I'd say.

axel9fr Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Hi ^^ I have a little question, this mod is compatible with Sanguine Debauchery and Prison overvauld ?
NicoleDragoness Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Ok. I disassembled the manure's BSA and placed the files (not the scripts) inside their proper folders. Now, I've both the fart sound and the poop thing. All right. If you are planning a new version, I suggest you to already include the manure's loose files. Just a suggestion.
Ryuune Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Hello, love this mod, but i have a problem with the latest version, i cannot see it anymore in the MCN menu so i cannot activate it.... Anyone else had the same problem? Thanks!
Severex Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Not sure if this mod is still being worked on. I like the mod. Anything that adds more realism is great. However, this mod kind of stabs itself in the foot on that front by including the "permission" check which is just broken. I can be up in the mountains (especially the areas around Markarth) in the middle of nowhere and get refused "permission" to pee which is silly and very annoying. I suggest removing the permission check all together and replacing it with a debuff while outdoors and a guard check inside cities. Example: If you're in the middle of the wilderness and some passerby happens to see you peeing then you get a debuff that lasts for X amount of time called "Embarrassed" that slows down stamina regen by a small percent. However, while inside a city, if a guard catches you peeing (not in an outhouse obviously) then you get slapped with a fine. Anyway just my 2 cents. I literally just spent 5 in game hours (32 on the timescale) running around the mountains in Markarth trying to find a place that would give me permission to pee. Not the first time that has happened! Good work and I hope you're still updating the mod.
Phygnos Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 The attached esp in this post is a minor modification to the required manure mod that simply removes the "poop spell" from the animals' ability pool. Nothing complex, I just deleted the "race" changes. I didn't want to touch scripts or BSA extraction so this was the solution. I didn't seek permission, so I purposely did not include the BSA. You will still need to download the manure mod itself and then simply replace the esp with this one. Manure.esp
Schrodinger's Trap Posted June 29, 2013 Author Posted June 29, 2013 Hi ^^ I have a little question, this mod is compatible with Sanguine Debauchery and Prison overvauld ? It certainly should not be incompatible, but as to what effect there may be. I can't say I do use prison overhaul myself and I think there is a problem if you try to pee while in the stockade. However, it won't break your game. I haven't tried it with SD. Not sure if this mod is still being worked on. I like the mod. Anything that adds more realism is great. Not the first time that has happened! Good work and I hope you're still updating the mod. I don't think I'd remove the check, but I'll add a distance parameter, so that as long as the npc is say 10 meters away from you they won't prevent you from doing your business. I've also added outhouses in all the main holds and towns which should allow you to do your business regardless of whether or not someone's watching. Edit: Just added the distance check. If testing goes well, I can released this tomorrow with the hygiene function included. I will add soaps and toilet paper the version after the initial version. I hope this initial version can be as bug free as possible.
ballsy Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Great mod. Are you thinking of adding expressions to the duration of animations? Just a minor quirk but it does seem quite weird for me since my PC has a poker face on most of the time. Maybe mfg expression 9? People do get embarrassed when pissing in the wilds, or at least I hope so. Thanks.

If you've in fact found any particular combination of mfg expressions that seem to fit the act of peeing in the wilderness I'd be glad to include it in the soonest possible release.

Well, since patch 1.9 broke most of the expression commands, only the mfg expression series works (someone correct me if I'm wrong). It won't be a combination since nothing is retained from the previous expression when changing to another mfg expression. From what I've tried, mfg expression 1 100 and mfg expression 9 100 seem to be the most suited. I use the female facial animation mod though which is somewhat of a expression fix/enhancer so results may vary. You could take a look at 1 to 16, the second number indicates the intensity of the expression.
