Nisha automatically equips you with the Nisha Outfit, Nisha Boots and Nisha Backpack, so if that doesn't happen it may be an external issue. Maybe you have them in your inventory? Check your pibpoy.

Yup, outfits are there, I removed them so the skin/face color was more noticeable in the screenshots.  I kind of figured the "skin change" was the tattoo removal, but I wasn't sure, 

I can change my skin color back in looksmenu, so that's not too big of an issue.  I noticed my clone looks like the "after" with the skin tone as well, but I don't really care about that at the moment.

 

Just wanted to see if there was something else I was missing or doing wrong!  I'll just chalk it down to the fun of using a Custom race/mod!

I might have had an epiphany over a passable plate of Mexican chicken and returned to add another fix that will make this work without changing the location setting.

I was wondering what Nuka is looking for when you use the Armour workbench to add Fit for Heels and Fit for a Porn Star?

I have some items I’d like to add some work and some don’t I just wondered if there was Key Words I could remove that was stopping the options being enabled

I might be completely off understanding what you ask for but It uses the weave slot so for me armor that does not have a weave slot I use eco to add one on the fly. I also have found that even with the keywords some works better that others depending on the slot occupied.

But I am using items with weave slots but some items get the Fit for Heels and Fit for a Porn Star others don’t? there must be something else that decides if it gets the Nuka Fit for Heels and Fit for a Porn Star?

depending on how far I have played but as soon as a keyword unlocks I am able to put it on any item. Any of the keywords. But I don't always think it works as it should. I would for instance sometimes have another set of boots for instance I would put the heel keyword on it but it does not seem to work. Heels are not supposed to be removed during aaf animations but anything I put that keyword on it will remove regardless. I think its based on the slot it takes up some mods have so many pieces that the slots does not always correspond to the right slot. So for instance you will get a shirt that takes up the helm slot or something like that.

I did the quick and bad ending of Commonwealth slavers were I had to kill the farmer (using version 1.7test), both arms were amputated during the play through so I had to use the mcm to get them back as well as re-enable combat control. After finishing CS and before starting Nuka Ride I re-amputated the left arm only, so i could carry on with my character story.

Having just finished the quest "A New Ride" I now need to talk with Music to arrange a meeting with the Overboss. Wanting to have as much content available as possible I installed HN66 nails (both options and the Fusion girl meshes). To test I had installed everything, I mad a bunch of nails at the chem station, opened the pipboy and was unable to equip the nails.

Using a different mod I have installed (Q.C.A Menu(Quick Change Armor).Beta.v0.4, can't remember where I got this from as its not on Nexus) I am able to see items that are worn which don't show up normally in the pipboy. There I was able to unequip the left arm bandage and now equip the nails.

Looking through the amputator esp I see that bandage takes up slots 34 - L Hand, 35 - R Hand, 42 - [A] L Arm, 43 - [A] R Arm (this is the same for the "Left", "Right" and "Both" versions of bandages). The Nails take up slots 34 - L Hand, 35 - R Hand.

 

Edit Update:

 

I made a quick patch in xEdit and changed the slots that the left and right arm bandages take up, and I am now able to equip the nails.

The Left arm bandage only takes slot 42 - [A] L Arm

The Right arm bandage only takes slot 43 - [A] R Arm

I don't know if this will cause me any future conflicts or if JB had used those slots for a specific reason, but for the moment its working.

After some testing I had to revert the hand slots back to the bandages as in First Person mode the hands were visible again. I am reaching the limits of my skills in regards to modding so for now I am happy just removing the bandages. Will keep testing and do another update if I can manage to get it properly sorted.

So I am a sleep deprived idiot, as I had completely forgotten about the nails adding their own hand nifs which was the cause of the first person view problem.

Now I just need to work out how to either delete or zap the hand away. 

 

For adding/removing biped slots from wearable items, you can also use RobCo Patcher in order to avoid needing a plugin. This is, for example, how I implement the install option for slot changes to the headgear in Milking Human Kindness... as long as the user installs RobCo Patcher (and its dependencies, F4SE and Address Library, of course) then all the mod really has to ship is a text file with a line in it adjusting the slots for the bandages.

 

As for included hands in HN66 Nails, the "right way" is probably to create two duplicates of every set in that mod, one with the right hand meshes/nails deleted, the other with the left deleted, plus appropriate constructables and workbench entries so users can choose to add one set or the other. In the plugin for those, remove the appropriate biped slot as well (in which case you probably wouldn't even need to patch Amputator?).

 

A less convenient approach would be to just have distinct slidersets for BodySlide (maybe split into two slidergroups for left and right) and then expect the user to build whichever set they want in BodySlide to replace the normal full nail set NIFs. Down side to this approach is that any NPCs you put nails on will also only have them on one hand (and may be missing a hand too), fine though if only the player character is going to wear them.

This depends on the outfits mod. I know that HN66 -Easy Girl, TRS Outfits - does not include outfit modification (as Vtaw does) and therefore you can't put my keywords to those outfits. I don't know what the process is like since I don't bother to do that with my outfits either.

I've not done it, but it looks like someone would need to alter the armor records for those to add the relevant attachment point for ballistic weave. I've done something similar to add attachment points for reskins/paintjobs.

So after a good nights sleep I was planing on tackling the nails problem, my first idea was pretty much what you suggested in making an "amputated"(zaped) version of both the left and right and then making a armour workbench consturctable to change to the needed side. Need to relearn how to use outfit studios again, and while I do have robco patcher installed and in use for skimpy keywords, I think I will still need to make a plugin just for my modlist (will definitely look into it tho)

(Once/if I am able to finish the conversions, would anyone be interested in either looking it over or implementing into their use.)

What if I copied the Keywords from the Nuka Ride clothing on to the ones I want to add instead of using the Armor bench?

Short answer is, yes that would work.

 

Long answer is, when you add the keyword that you want to the armour record, then any and every piece of armour/clothing will have that keyword. Depending on what type of keyword is being added to the armour/clothing will either have little effect or it may affect more than intended.

 

Do you have an example of what you want to do?

Game and PC Crash

After [Quest] Bad End – Gallow at the end of  [Quest] Rescue!

The Windows 11 Crash log says:

The GalaxyClientService service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 2 times

I tried again and it happened again

Any help would be appreciated?

I thought about adding _NR_PornStarOutfit_KW [KYWD:08037150] for clothing and _NR_PornStarOutfit_KW [KYWD:08037150] + _NR_NoStrip [KYWD:08056E88] to shoes with a body.

Can you post a Buffout crash log please.

Also just a suggestion if you are going to do it that way is to make a custom patch, and forward the clothing records with the added keywords, that way you can easily disable the new plugin and not lose the old mod.

Another way is to use the RobCo patcher and make a ini file for the clothing items with the keywords.

Use which ever way is easiest for you to do.

It shouldn't matter for most NPCs, the only thing would be is the No strip keyword, If an NPC is wearing a piece of clothing with that and they are somehow involved in a AAF scene then they will not strip the clothing otherwise it should all be fine.

 

and looking at the crash log seems to indicates a problem with the Camera, @JB. will have to take a look at it and see if there is a problem. From what I can read of the log and being referenced is.

Hi JB

 

Having a strange bug with the scooter, it works as before until I go to atoms cats to refill the core.  I had used it 8 times, so went from Sanctuary to the atoms cats garage and the main mechanic didn't speak to me, looked around no scooter and the core count was still 8.  Fast travelled back to Sanctuary no scooter there either.  Initially I was running 6.3.0 as I hadn't noticed the updates and upgraded to 6.3.6 but same issue.

 

Also in the Nuka Club Sierra is levitating above the ground.  This was in 6.3.0, I also had a few strange crashes uses that version, so will let you know if any occur in the later version.

Went back to NW, on dolled up, spoke to the OB and Gage, went to the NC to choose a girl and the game crashed as I opened the main door.  Also the steps to get in are wonky, image shown.   Restarted the conversation with the OB and it worked fine,  so it just happens from time to time, sorry to put you out, if you would like a copy that that crash report just let me know.

Don't worry too much about the landscape outside. JB is constantly changing it and fixing areas. Also other mods that changes textures and things can affect the outside areas. For instance in my game I have mods that removes a bunch of crap like trash piles etc.

 

As for your other post with the crashlog. Update your sound drivers. Also rerun the old directx runtimes. That crash is a audio driver issue. Xaudio2_7.dll.

Hi Osculim, Ok stupid question, how do I update my sound drivers?  And what do I do to rerun the old directx runtimes?  Sorry to ask!

 

Any idea on why the scooter isn't working properly, we were attacked by Super Mutants when first visiting and asking for a discount for William, but all the animations worked fine.  One for JB I would imagine, sorry JB.
