Yeah I use Player Comments and Head Tracking mod, many thanks to @JB. and @Axary for the help. and btw That mod is just hilarious, JB you've did a great job, well written plot

IDK... maybe not. Or maybe someone is creating his own voice dubs in their free time and, posting his work here with the approval of the mod author.

Listen... I'm just a cave man trying to live his best life... all of this modding is like "magic" to me... it frightens and confuses me. What I do know is; so long as I have something to work with, and GPT AI voice tools... I can attempt recreate some of the game voices for Nuka Ride.

Sounds terrific! I was just curious though...So are these entirely new voices not trained on the basis of the original voice actors? If so, what are these files being trained on?

Here's my basic process. Step one; I unpack the original game voice files for a the character involved. Step two - I'll open up an ai tool; drop some of the best even toned wav files (usually about 10 - 20 files) to be trained. Step 3 - Enter the Nuka Ride dialogue one at a time into the ai-tool and get an output. Then in xVAsynth I'll build the lip files using xVAsynth. It's not perfect but it's good for now. 

Later on; I plan to try the xVAsynth Voice Trainer... but the best results I've found are still coming from elevanlabs.

I don't know why, but Nuka Ride is suddenly causing sound/audio/radio/sfx issues. I get absolutely no radio and about half my sounds/audio/sfx stopped working. For example, if I fire the 10mm handgun, it makes no noise, but the bullet hitting the ground does. If something blows up, it's like I'm listening to the explosion through a cellphone with bad reception. I only get about half of it, with the other half being a mix of a static like sound or silence. Uninstalling the mod fixes the problems. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,

just a question.

 

I am in the questline where a clone is made from me.

 

Now i want to take a break and just want to conquer the commonwealth a little bit.

I just fast traveled to Sanctuary to start from there. 

I picked up a weapon - but i can not use it. I removed all (NR) stuff from me but still i can not use it - what do i have to do - do go into "non" Nuka Ride mode?

OK i solved it - i had the amputator Mod installed and tested. It "steals" the option to fight - but you can reset it in the MCM - SOLVED!!!!

It looks like you had the Nuka Ride radio on, on the one hand, and on the other hand it looks like the radio stopped working -something quite common to the point that I put an option in the mcm to reset it-.

That's good to know for the future. I ended up just loading up an earlier vortex profile I had, then adding back the newer versions of the mods that I liked, and that fixed it. It was really strange. Some spots were just noise dead zones. Sort of spooky. 

 

Fantastic mod too! I've dabbled with the creation kit and know just how much time and patience that takes.

Thank you very much! It's fixed everything so far. Though the newest old version I could find was 1.6.1 on Nexus. Will that cause any problems later on, ie, features that were on 1.6.6 that aren't in this older version?

161 will probably work. There were features and improvements in 166 but maybe not any NR needs. Hopefully very soon there will be a 172(?) which restores functionality for how those early NR scenes were configured.

About my plans for the future. I played Nuka Ride with a young character this time. I always do it with "Nora", as a mature woman. The mod was always conceived that way, even though it has a route where you can roleplay as you see fit (the non-vanilla route). But this time I started it with a young girl and it really didn't fit with Nuka Ride.

This is the preset. I got it from Nexus but it went through some editions. You need the Tullius hair pack if you want that hairstyle.

 

 

Corsican can't give you the role of a housewife who, on top of that, is "old" and having an affair with a young plumber. He shouldn't give you the role of "Mrs. White" but "Mrs. White's daughter." in any case. 

 

And I'm thinking that this young girl from Nuka Ride could even be a virgin, which is why she wouldn't debut as an actress yet until later, when she decides how and with whom to lose her virginity (both for the cameras or in private, with a man of her choosing).

 

That means a slight tweak to Mason's audition. Of course Mason would want to fuck her, but Corsican has made clear guidelines in case a virgin girl shows up.

It would also mean that Sullivan, in Diamond City, would never think of sending this young chick straight into the mayor's jaws.

 

Another example is the Overboss. He never insults young women as he ia a father of a young daughter. He has a soft spot there.  He calls Lucy by her name, he calls Music "apple pie" and the heaviest thing he says to Kali is "wallet snatcher" and even allows the latter to call him "Colter", which no one else can.

 

He dismisses mature women like "Nora" because he doesn't want to get attached to any of them until his wife returns. 

 

My young character, on the other hand, received absolutely all the insults and denigration from the OB and that is not consistent. When we first meet the OB, he shouldn't say: "Go get me some beers from the bar, bitch", but instead he should pull her away from the party and have a serious conversation in some secluded corner of his base: "The FUCK do you think you're doing here?". While he sends his slaves to serve his VIP guests.

 

Most likely, he will start treating her the way he treats Lucy. Not the same. That would be boring. But I don't see the OB treating her the way he treats Nora.

 

So, as I wrote in my 6.3 update notes, the next big change I want to implement is: remove the non-vanilla route and replace it with a new route, where the mod treats as if the protagonist is a young girl with little or zero experience. This would be defined at the very beginning when you meet Duke.

This requires a slight change on some quests, and a drastic change on others.

 

PS: Let's get over the fact that the OB isn't very kind to the two young girls from the Nuka Club. Im not perfect. But it is too late to correct that inconsistency. XD

 

PS: My third project was going to be a new mod with a young girl as the main character. But I really don't think I'll be able to keep up with three quest mods so I plan to inject this idea into Nuka Ride. In Nuka Ride I already have all the assets. Idles, outfits, sounds, scripts. It saves me a lot of time.

What worries me is that I would be limiting this mod to two routes: Either Nora, or a young girl, both pre-war. If you want to play a protagonist who is a female version of the Incredible Hulk you would have no coherent way to do it (just an example).

 

I'm playing the non-vanilla route and it's kind of meh. I miss very hot dialogues because my protagonist is not a married woman. But I think I would give more love to this route if I dedicate it to an inexperienced girl who falls into a wolf cave.

Hmmm unfortunately I cant help much as I never encounted that bug, what should happen is after finding and talking with your clone, the place is attacked, she "Should" pick up a gattling laser and fight her way to the end, you should just have to follow her until you are stopped by the guy from the Institute and uncuffed. Not sure why the clone is not attacking things. Either JB or someone else might have more knowledge as to whats happening.
