Do you have zex-bodygen installed? Random bodies being morphed like that is usually due to any type of bodygen file being installed in your game, you can find the files under Data>F4SE>Plugins>F4EE>BodyGen

the only thing in F4EE\Bodygen is NukaRide.esp

should that be there?

when you open the esp file what is inside it, If it is Overlays.json then that is normal.

This is what is in my folders.

Its got morphs, morphs.ini-BackUp, and Templates

Inside Morphs is things like:

#BT3-Zero#

#BT3-Chubby#

#BT3-Muscular#

'BT3-Swimmer#

#Overboss#

Nuka Ride.esp|3E92E=BT3-Muscular

#Keyshawn#

Nuka Ride.esp|5A7D4=BT3-Muscular

etc approx 38 same-ish text Lines

Okay so those two files are causing the morphing you are seeing. The bad news is once an NPC has been morphed they are stuck that way. You need Hbd_morphdebug for reset the NPC. Do you know what mod those files are from?

To stop any more morphing you will need to remove, both morphs.ini and templates.ini

Another option is learn how to use bodygen and make your own morphs.

Do I nee to rebuild the BT3 body in bodyslide?

So I think a different mod may have added the files that you have, as I do not have any myself

@Agnot2014 yes they will be safe to remove (save them in a separate backup folder just in case you need them for something else).

Rebuild you body again after you have removed those files, and that should stop the morphing. If any NPC like the Overboss has been morphed and you don't like it, use the HDB mod to reset them.

I’m glad I haven’t gone out into the world but just mainly played in NukaRide.

I have installed Hbd_morphdebug

I thank you very much for your Timely and much appreciated help.

There was a version of NR not long ago which included some BodyGen configs, but I think that got removed almost immediately in version that came after it.

Are you completely uninstalling previous versions of NR when installing a new version? Are you using a mod manager to track the files that get installed so you don't have to manually delete them when uninstalling/upgrading?

Hello all,

i just start to Play the "Nuka Ride". After arrival in "Nuka World" i speak with shank and he gives me an Outfit. I try to wear the Outfit in my "Pipboy" - CTD!

Look Pic for Message.

I have in my MO2 allways my BSA's extracted. I am searching for the file "Textures\Nuka Ride\Various\OutputCube.dds". It is there.

I open it with Gimp - errormessage "invalid DDS Header". I open it with IrfanView64 "unknown DDS Header type".

I have no clue what is in this dds file - so can someone tell me with what i can replace it?

Just for info i downloaded "nuka ride" a second time to validate if the download was corrupt. But in the original Download there is the DDS file as well with a unreadable DDS Header.

Thanks for help

Ava

PS.: I checked the entire "Nuka ride" Textures folder. This file is the only one that is not readable.

I did have the previous version of  NukaRide and Vortex didn't remove it when installing the new one 6.3.6. I had to tell vortex to remove it.

Using Hbd_morphdebug I use the RegenerateMorphs – Which Clears all existing morphs and reapplies BodyGen templates (if any) for the Target Actor. Is that right?

I can open it with Gimp ? Is an enviroment texture for the glass heels. Vtaw has such a texture ("cube") if you want to replace it. I wonder if it has to do with the graphics card?

Hi JB,

thanks for the fast answer.

Sometimes it has to do with the Graphics Card. I am using an AMD 6900XT in the moment on my High end rig.

In the past i often had troubles with dds files that are made with the nvidia dds builder.

As a texture maker i recommend to anybody - don't use it ?

Use paintnet instead it is fast and stable.

I will replace it and all will be fine i hope^^

Thanks again

Ava

PS.: The one you attached - works like a charm ? Thanks

yes thats correct, make sure the target you want to regenerate is in you crosshair and click that button, If no one is in your sight it will do it to you. good idea to save before hand just incase you get the wrong target.

I checked now and I don't have any problem with this outfit and this texture opens without any problem(checked in Paint.Net and Photoshop).
The texture you mentioned is responsible for the reflections on the transparent top of those heels.

It looks like your SSD or HDD has corrupted sectors.
You can try to cut, not copy, but exactly CUT Data\Textures\Nuka Ride folder and paste it to any other place on the SAME drive. Then uninstall and install NR again.
The logic of these actions is as follows: if cut->paste actions happens on the same drive, then the files themselves(their information) are not moved, but just in the file system changes the path to them. This means that the damaged area of your drive will remain busy with these files. When you reinstall NR, its files will be written to a new drive area.

This is a temporary solution and if it works, you should consider replacing the drive.

And never delete that cut/paste folder again, you can rename it and make a note in its name that it cannot be deleted.
That way you will kind of block the damaged area so that the system doesn't use it for something else. And you don't get new problems.

Right, for mods downloaded from anywhere besides Nexus, basically, Vortex doesn't notice that new versions are for the same mod, so you have to explicitly uninstall the previous version when you install the new version. I usually just filter my mods list by the name of the mod I'm updating, so I can see both the not-yet-installed new version and the still-installed old version, then remove the old version and install the new version (in that order). That workflow is effective in my experience.

Yes, that's what you'll want to use to reset the affected NPCs.

Hi Axary,

thanks for the idea of the bad sector.

But i allready checked that - i always have a second system where i mirror my whole installation ?

I am using on my high end rig AMD 6900XT with 4*4TB NVME's and on my backup system just a RTX 3090 with 4*4TB SSD's. I validated the downloads directly after downlad - and inside the compressed files this file only seems unreadable...

So on my backup System i had the same issue. ?

But anyway - the file JB attached works now ?

Thanks for help and idea

Ava

PS.: But that brings me up to check my hardware later ?

PPS.: My Actor with the High Heels is not elevated - need to check on that - first time i try to use High Heels - Hahahaha ?

LogMorphs doesn’t seem to do anything it says Logged, but I find no Papyrus log in Documents/My Games/Fallout4/F4SE

RegenerateMorphs seems to be working Thank You

You'll have to enable Papyrus logging before there will be any logs on disk.

I have but not used before - I have used Buffout 4 crash which works

but my game doesn't have a Logs after Fallout 4, I thought it was only generated when the first log was written

When you have enabled logging as Vaultbait linked, then every time you start the game a new log will be created and will make logs of certain things until you close the game

You can find see the logs here.
