But I don't know if I'm going to change my method. I have a file that I import into CK every time I want to upload a new version and I have it packed in a few minutes. Obviously if I add something new (a script, a mesh, etc), I have to add it to the list, but it doesn't take time.

If you talk to Charon to take you back to NukaWorld, it will not remember you and it will activate the Talk to Kaiser quest again after it takes you there. Its better to just use console to get back to NukaWorld and then talk to Charlotte. I used the player.move to xx01E301 console command to move my character straight to Shank, xx would be the position of the DLCNukaWorld.esm. For me, the number was 06.

If anyone needs Elder Maxson to be alive in their game, after he has been killed or replaced by a Synth version or whatever reason, they will need to do the following steps.

Open console and type the following commands and then hit enter. Its best to do this while your character is standing in the location of the Prydwen where he normnally stands.

recycleactor 1cc18     (this is incase his head was blown off or one of his limbs is missing)

Now the console can be closed and he should be there and not hostile. This has worked in my game with the quest Made in Heaven. He was previously replaced by a synth version by using the mod called Subversion.

hi i like you mod.  i found a bug  and i want to know which AAF version i need  for this mod . i update the Nuka Ride 4.12version when i chose every one option the game quite out itself.  my last update is 3version. how cloud i fix it? should i start it with a new save?

I'm well aware that making companions is a pain in the ass. I actually tried to make my character into one, to share with friends and/or upload to the Nexus but the more I got into it, the less I wanted to make it ?

As for her moving in with the player, mostly for 'eye candy' and/or her moving into the apartment (namely the room above) for some sexy time and/or screen archery purposes.

 

As far as the grammatical and style corrections, I definitely will but when the mod is close to done. I've a bad habit of moving from one thing to the next and completely forgetting about what I was doing before, so I'd rather do it all at once in "one sitting" so to speak.

If you want you can try to revive them. The ideal moment would be inside the theater, before Corsican tells you about the Overboss's daughter looking for you. Enter the IDs and console commands to revive them (I think the command is "resurrect"?).

 

But yeah, the reason you can't start is because one of those characters is dead.

 

Remember that this is an alternative start mod. It is designed with a new game in mind and all its npc alive.

How do I find the ID? I tried "help Stockton" but it doesn't work.

You could do it the way @Operand suggested.  The only problem is that the global gets reset by MCM whenever the player loads their save.  So that may not be the best way to do it.

 

My preferred way to do it would be to check for the AAF_ActorLocked keyword from AAF.esm, and not allow the player to surrender to actors who have that keyword.  Then you can just add that keyword to the actor, or to an alias, etc.  Would that work for your purposes?

That will definitely make it easier for me, thanks. The actor will have the keyword by default, and I will remove it at the end of the fight because the winner must fuck the loser.

 

BTW, and with no intention of rushing you at all or exerting any pressure, is your bondage framework project still going? Someday I would like to create a slave mod and if I have to choose between DD or your frameworkd I won't think twice.

A mod that makes them all furry shouldn't affect Nuka Ride because the actor still keeps his ID, and that's the only thing my mod is looking for. But I can't assure you because I don't know if that mod modifies something else.

It is definitely better to use the latest version of AAF. There are new features that I use that I don't know how the game will handle that. 

 

But yeah... a new save would be nice. Because there are many new stuffs.

You need everything updated and mostly every animation, at the very least leito, Savage Cavage and BP70

Interesting new development.  I'm currently just starting the quest Lost in the Jungle.  I can run around Nuka World proper with Kells just fine, including Bradburton Theater where the Pack have their base.  We go talk to Kaiser, get a lift to Safari Adventure, and run in to speak to Morgan.  Then all hell breaks out.  After a couple of verbal warnings, the Pack members there turn hostile on Kells and kill him.  Fortunately he's set to never die, but that just means that each time he gets back up they attack him again.  This happens every time I load a save right outside Safari Adventure.  Sometimes they attack my player too, but they always attack Kells.  

 

I'm sure this problem is unique to my mod list.  I'm working on a "raider playthrough", so I have a ton of mods that make changes to Raiders.  However, with that having been said, I've gone through XEdit, and I can't find any conflicts at all with the NR_Kells NPC.  I can't find any conflicts with the Pack faction.  I can't find any conflicts of any kind that would cause the Safari Adventure Pack members - But NOT the Nuka World Pack members - to turn hostile on Kells or my player.   I've tried using the 'GetFactionRelation' console command on Kells, but it didn't recognize him.  So, I'm at a loss.  Maybe someone here knows more about this than I do.  

 

For the time being, I've added both NR_Kells and my character to the "Pack Faction" (faction ID 0600f43a).  This has allowed us access to Safari Adventure without everyone turning hostile and murdering us.

@JB. A few things to report that i've noticed.

 

First, this. You tell me if it's something in my plugin order perhaps and i'll have a look at it. I'm fairly certain it isn't, as NR is loading as far down the list as possible but there's still only a couple plugins loading after it. Something's partially yeeting the market ?

 

 

Is Lyons a clone of Dogmeat? Asking this as well because of the second image here. This Cum 'buff' is from Better Living Through Cumistry.

How exactly should I write a command to resurrect the characters? I tried "resurrect 00039fcb" but it doesn't work.

When I entered "player.placeatme 00039fcb" the character appeared next to me.  ID 0001cc18 does not work.

 

Can I run the quest manually, or do I need to find out which character causes problem first?

 

I still wondered, could there be a problem in the fact that I have not yet joined the Brotherhood of Steel? There's no airship, so neither is Elder Maxson.

Use the console command "player.moveto 39FE8" to move your character to Stockton. He might be alive.

 

39fcb is Stocktons FormID (the zeros in the first few positions of the number do not have to be entered)

39FE8 is Stocktons REF ID

 

If you ever want to resurrect a NPC, the REF ID has to be used. 

 

If you ever want to quickly find the REF ID for a character, you can just type in something like Fallout 4 Stockton into Google and it will bring up some pages that have it. For example this one.

 

https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Old_Man_Stockton  On this page, you can click the area where it says Technical and it will show his REF ID.

 

Never use placeatme unless strictly and expertly suggested to, because it can create duplicates.

I found out Stockton was in the alley with his head shot off, that was the problem. The raiders shot him.

When you resurrect him, his head will likely still be off. After resurrecting him, type the following command to make him put his head back on.

 

recycleactor 39FE8

 

If you would like to make him essential, so this doesnt happen again you can type the following command.

 

setessential 39FCB 1  (the form id has to be used here for this command)

As for the conflict with AAF Violate, if the battle in the mod is marked as a fight, then this mod can help. At least for me it works with fights from the original game.

OK cool, I'll add that keyword check and make a new release.  I really should have added it a long time ago, especially after how much I've harped about how mod authors should use it in their mods.  Violate puts that keyword on the actors in its scenes, but only after the scene has started

It is, yeah.  It's been like 90% finished for a few months, I've been dealing with some real life stuff so it's been hard to focus on a mod that large.
