Zaz Animation Pack V7.0 [2017-05-16]

Is there going to be a version of this that provides the gear without having to use FNIS?
Unlikly' date=' since IIRC the only way to add new (non-replacer) animations into Skyrim is via FNIS.

Whenever I use it, all of the characters stand like mannequins (including my character) and the other characters remain frozen in place while my character 'floats' without moving to 'walk'.

That's pretty much the deifinition of what happens when you don't run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe after installing/uninstalling FNIS or any mod that alters animations in Skyrim.

I did.

I installed FNIS, then activated GenerateFNISforUsers.exe, clicked on update, clicked on behavior consistency check, got the green light, installed Zaz Resources, and did the exact same thing with the exact same result.

I must be doing something wrong, but what?

Ok, quick update:

Through a number of strange circumstances, it turns out that I was using the .exe from about 4 FNIS updates ago. Don't ask how that one came about.

I can now get it to work, but now one of my two followers won't stay in one spot. She keeps walking away from me down the road. I try to dismiss her, and she goes through the words, but she's still "following" me. I'm going to try a number of theories and see if they work. She's been a hassle ever since I downloaded her (wouldn't marry either, though she has full marry capability).

did you run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe as admin? if you don't windows will block anything that it does.....

I got it!

Finally, I've gotten it to where it works. Took long enough. She was walking away from me because there was a behavior file that FNIS SAID was going to interfere, so I deleted it. As it turned out, it was her behavior file and a quick restore to it had her back at my side with no interference with the FNIS or Zaz files.

In other words, crisis solved and it's all good. I'm looking to try my hand at this one as well.

i'm guessing due to a number of responses, i should update FNIS for this mod to work. Which brings me to a question. When i originally installed FNIS, it was rather complex compared to installing a normal mod. I had to put things in different places, run certain program. confusing crap. So the only thing i need to update is the 'behavior files', right? Is there anything special i have to do to successfully update FNIS? Or do i only have to drag'n'drop the new behavior files over the old one and then run FNIS?

Edit: Uh oh, i downloaded the Anim pack and updated FNIS, and ran FNIS as admin and got 1 warning.. what am i suppose to do to fix this warning? Not sure if it caused it, but i wasnt thinking and installed Zaz anim pack first, then upaded FNIS and ran it. But anyhow, i got this warning and not sure what to do.

For installation, you donwload the archive, then extract the contents into your data folder. If you find it difficult to install mods, I strongly recommend a mod manager. I use WryeBash, which is a bad example for FNIS, because Wrye doesn't handle exe files. You could try NMM. There are instructions for NMM and FNIS, so that may be the best choice.

You get the warning because your skeletons are not default skeletons. You probably have some mod which affects female skeletons (and female only). Not sure what you can do about that, or if it's even a problem. If your game works, I guess all is well. ;)

Hi, I've noticed that this mod installs facial stuff that alters the way my character looks. It took a while to locate what was doing it, since I was installing a whole lot at once, and only then checking the result.

Anyway, I'm not too fond of what it does with her eyebrows.

If I delete the character assets folder, would it adversely affect the animations? I don't suppose the height of the eyebrows affects much besides the atmosphere of the character, but what about femalehead.tri and the mouthparts? For now I've left them in, but I don't think my character really needs to look that severe out of the box.

hmm..thats odd..from the way it look, it think it more like disgusted/anger expression but as far as i know the tri file that was included only tweak for the combat shout/ shout expression to make that mouth goes open (the original dont) and nothing more..

if you have the puppeter master mod installed, try to use the facial option, use the shout and with 100%..if your mouth goes open then it work, but if you get an expression like in your screenshot than i guess you didnt installed the mod properly.

and when it happen exactly ? with that expression, is it after you use some of the Zaz gags ?

Hi! I'm not actually using this animation pack for anything at the moment. I just have it because it's a requirement for Sanguine's Debauchery. And I disable the ZaZAnimationPack.esm, so I'm not playing with any poses or spells it might come with.

You can't actually see it from those pics, but the eyebrows seem to have come away from the face (they're hovering in space), totally detached from the facial structure. When I add the mod, and when I load a savegame, she's got that expression on her face already. When I uninstall the mod, she returns to normal.

And, I guess the only other thing I can say is I'm using the Temptress race, and she's just one (the first) of the presets that come with that race.

To check to see if it was race specific, I tested this out with an ordinary nord, again one of the presets.

The only difference between these is that I took ZaZAnimationPack-V003 out in the second shot. I use UNP bodies and am using the RR 3-2 compatible skeleton that comes from here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11064.

Umm, and that's about it. Does this not happen to anyone else's game?

Yeah mate, i think i can confirm this happening to me too. I thought it was a bit odd, the eyebrow was looming down, until i found out it was the femalehead.tri from zaz anim pack

well, as right now i dont use the merger one (still using old version before both zazanims and xaz framework are standalone), cause i havent updated my FNIS. and no, i believe it doesnt interfere with race or skeleton that were use. and are you sure you didnt use any of zaz/xaz gag before that occured ? because some of it are scripted so it force player expression to change when the gag being use ( i.e distressed look, combat shout/mouth open).

there maybe some thing went wrong so it force your player expression into something else or maybe the expression got stuck. i think xaz are the one that can enlight us about this.

try to use the femalehead.tri from Athstai, even tho i think they are same, but still its worth to try.

Thanks for the advice, anubis.

I don't think femalehead.tri is involved, since I disabled it and it didn't affect anything.

But femaleheadbrowsrace.tri and femaleheadbrowschargen.tri do alter the eyebrows, and when I disable them the eyebrows return to normal.

So, what are these meant to do? Just give all races a harsher expression? Or do they allow the eyebrows to move in the animations? For now I'm going to leave them off (by attaching .off to the end). But more info about what these do would be good.

I believe those files were added by me. I get the inverse problem, in a vanilla game (fresh install, no mods) my eye brows screw up when I run the open mouth animation. With these files, the open mouth animation works and looks correct.

Disable the files if they give you problems. Not sure how many experience these issues, but maybe they should be removed and added as an optional download/install?

i see, decided to download the last version and yes, those both brow.tri are included which seems odd, cause the last time i only need the femalehead.tri and mouth.tri and it works great.

talking bout this, i do tweaked my own femalehead.tri and the mouth.tri. just thought that mouth should open much wider/bigger (was thinking it for blowj*b anim). so i simply added more amount into the combatshout shapekey in femalehead and the mouth. voila it work, i just need to redo my custom gags. want to post it here but i didnt bring the file. will upload it tomorrow if anyone interested.

Must have been added in the merge, because I had those files in xazBondage. Out of curiosity, do you have anything in the faceparts subdirectory? I'm trying to find the source of the problem ...

I downloaded the new and last version of this pack, and everything looks working fine. Thanks a lot for this great package.

I'm now trying to learn how to create some quest mod in Skyrim, and I think I will use some of these great elements in it!

The Creation Kit available on Steam is the only and better way to create a quest mod?

Posted

I installed this mod as requisite for SD and... thank you both, it's simply great.

I read almost all posts here, so I don't bother you with "how I do that" but I have a couple of questions.

Can't undestand what's the effect of collars, blindfolds and belt.

Just for information, the doggiebelt merged with UNPB and "delicate" option activated.

And one request... can you give jbezorg a good animation for his punishment thing? The good guy deserved it :)

Thank you again for great work, hope you continue to update
