For the 2nd link, I know less about it, its fairly new.

Have tried it with a controller, both by just having it connected (as per the first link) and by linking it to the process via GHR. It does work, it just locks me out of using mouse and keyboard.

Each of our mods has a Conflicts article like this one, linked on each download page.

 

If you disable a mod, Survival Mode or otherwise, you are breaking the Golden Rule.

That's how you corrupt a save, so even if it worked initially, it would be broken later on.

This is my first time on AE, didn't know you could just turn Survival Mode off in settings natively.  I did, and it worked, thank you.

 

But seriously... is there any way one could otherwise keep or maintain the deer appearance?  I wound up liking it a lot more than I thought I might.  I don't even necessarily need the feet part, more the skin and antlers - those are kinda cool.

The quest repeats. Has MCM settings, so you can make it happen again sooner, or later. If you don't want to lose DeerFu, just don't complete the quest.

The deer hooves come with the package. Only the skin texture can be turned on/off.

For starters thx for this great mod. But recently i installed the AE version of skyrim, so i could try all the toy mods. The issue i am having is: When Cum is applied through Sexlab the virgin tatoo on your but disappears and when it is reapplied  the cum disappears, and vise versa. I thought this could have to do with the amount of overlays defined in the skee64.ini but no matter what values i put in there it still happens. So i dont know if the changes to the skee64.ini do anything or is there a way to check how many overlays are actually active in game? Or if it got something to do with the body i am using, wich is 3ba. Or something completely different, oh and this happens no matter where on the body (face vaginal anal) the cum is applied ?

Not sure why you went to AE - they are all for LE and SE

All the Toys Family is happy to work with the older SE.

Nothing wrong with going with AE, but was there something that made you think you needed to? Something in instructions confusing?

  • The tats & cum are working as intended, there's nothing to fix
  • Cum textures and Virgin tats use the same skyrim single texture. They are both not using any layers
  • If the Love scenes you are seeing are triggered by SLaVE, the are NOT sexlab scenes.. they are Toys&Love, love scenes. But it does not matter which animation framework played the scene, the cum similar (no layers) in both, but if its Toys&Love playing the scene, the handshaking between SLaVE and Toys&Love is integrated... they still can't have both tat and cum at the same time
  • You can turn off SLaVE tats in MCM if you don't like the way it works. Or you can turn off cum in both frameworks

AE is the newer version of SE so ... i am a bit confused here indeed.

Also turning of the tats worked fine.

Yes AE is the latest. But Toys mods, and many mods, work for LE, SE, and AE.

There's a few mods that force you to use AE, but Toys is not among them.

In fact more mods exist that force you to NOT use AE, leaving many people stuck on SE for now.

Had a little trouble with the initial Shrine Love in the Temple of Dibella, so I had a look in xEdit and found two specific incompatabilities:  Both Simpler Knock and JK's Temple of Dibella overwrite SLaVE's activator.  JK's interior series is pretty popular.  I don't have any idea why Simpler Knock would even touch the shrine in the first place, though.

I'd like to list them in Known Mod Conflicts - SLaVE. But need to find out if the solution is to place SLaVE AFTER those mods in your Load Order. Mind trying for us?

 

You could carefully make the Load Order change not save any game during the test, then put your load order back making sure its the same as before, so you don't end up corrupting your save. Or do it on a new profile using the save you have.

  • Most foot items that change height use NiOverride tech for that height
  • This added height screws animation alignment  (thus love scenes break and so do furniture)
  • But Toys&Love auto-compensates for the height, as long as the item is using NiOverride. That's how the loves scenes keep working, and most furniture in this mod

The mod you link... no clue what its using. I kinda doubt there's going to be a solution for the conflict that you will be creating

It is easy to add an attribute to the heels NIF mesh files so that NiOverride adjusts the character's height.

 

In the NIF mesh file, you go to the first node of the shoe and add a NiFloatExtraData element with attributes Name = HH_OFFSET and Float Data = numeric_height_value

Having an issue with the quest in the first time in Nocturnal's sanctuary where she tells you to go sleep with Cassida. I talk to Cassida and then nothing happens. If I open the console it says something along the lines of failed to select scene, no scenes matched filters. I have no filters set manually and the only toys I have equipped are the ones the quest put on me (excluding the torch because that blew off) and the breast torture collar that Nocturnal can give you upon almost dying (because as it turns out, trying to kill the santuary guardians at level 1 is hard. But that's a me issue not the game) This is on Aniversary edition with the latest Toys and SLAVE (both downloaded today) and both the Toys and Love self test and the previous scenes in this worked. I have tried reloading a save several times and have the same result. Also (and this may be related) whenever I would die but Nocturnal saves me, after the love self back to life part, I become unable to move and have to use reset character option in Toys to regain control. Any advice?

Maybe you missed this requirement (copy/pasted from main page)....

Love & Music Packs: At least the Starter Love Pack or your favorite SLAL 

  • Would result in at least sometimes not finding a scene to play.
  • If its that you can add the Starter Love Pack mid-playthrough safely as it has no plugin.

 

Only other thing I can think of is that you are playing as a male player. But the scene should still, work.

Might have to test that more if this turns out to be due to male player. I would expect trying a few times would still get it to proceed in this case due to random.

 

If its not the lack of installed packs, please share your papyrus log. How to get a Papyrus Log?

We want the log to cover a game session where you... startup the game.... load a save before the problem.... run the Toys&Love MCM - Setup Tab - Installation Test... recreate the problem... Exit to desktop and attach here that log

  • Shout and Nocturnal will tank for you  .... OR
  • Use a Standing Stone Potion. You get these by using a standing stone after your first meeting with Nocturnal

Is there a safe way to remove this mod mid-save after starting the quest line? I find it a bit too obtrusive during regular gameplay and even turning the mod off via settings makes obtaining new shouts impossible and spams the topleft message log with "Busy mode is enabled"

No. Start a new game absolutely required.

No mod with a plugin can be safely removed mid-save... anyone telling you otherwise does not understand how skyrim works.

 

Busy mode is not intended to "turn it off", its to pause its interactions during another mod's long scene.

 

What are you finding obtrusive? Maybe I can tell you how to turn off the obtrusive things. Almost everything has a setting in the MCM.

I've encountered a bug during the Tallows quest, specifically after finishing "The man who cried wolf"
The follow-up, "wolf queen awakened" or something, refuses to start/show up in my journal.

Setstage ms06 and any number after does not change anything, getstage ms06 still returns 0.00 after using setstage.
No courier shows up after levelling, the quest doesn't show up in my journal, neither styrr or falk have related dialogue options.

The journal entry for Tales and Tallows says "In order to reach the statue, 'The Wolf Queen Awakened' has started and I need to talk to Styrr."

I've completed the man who cried wolf quite a while ago, so I was wondering if there's a way to fix this without loading a save way back.

 

Edit: after further testing, loading a save directly after the completion of the man who cried wolf, ignoring all nocturnal-related stuff and following the usual procedure to start the wolf queen awakened also doesn't work, so I'm at a loss

There's no bug. The quest is unchanged in 4 years, and it works for all.

One time a user had the same problem, and they could not recreate it on a new game. It was a corrupt save. The vulnerability to corruption is within the vanilla quest, not this mod. You've proven that when the courier wont even show up.

 

SLaVE alters the quest in a very small way... the quest gets started without the vanilla courier. Just triggers it for you. This saves the wait and the level requirement.

That's the only change. You can still start it the vanilla way too. I've looked very closely at this in the past and there's nothing to fix.

  • Essentially  you have a vanilla Skyrim problem. Your save is very likely corrupt. See Golden Rule   ... OR....
  • Messing with setstage has buggered it. Never use SetStage in SLaVE quests. In most cases there's more conditionally going on than just the stage, so you will break most quests using it (If you tried a save before ANY setstage usage and the courier wont even come, then this is not the problem) ... OR....
  • Your report from a while back saying you were stack dumping, and having Nemesis issues, has persisted and caused a corrupt save (in this case scripts not completing so of course things break badly). I also wonder if you are using VR somehow, since you had tried... Can't support that

I know you won't like this conclusion, but my bet is that a new game (without Nemesis / VR / stack dumping) won't recreate it.

I sort of expected it to be a vanilla issue, since I've seen the bug littering old forums and wiki entries....
Anyway, as to your suggestions I've followed the golden rule religiously, the issue also appears on saves in which I've not touched any setstage commands. The stackdumping has been fixed as far as I can see, so if it's that it's a very uncharacteristically late repercussion. I'm also not using this mod in my VR setup, it's completely seperate from my SE.

Gonna try to go back even further in my saves to see if that fixes it, cause I'd hate having to completely give up this character. I understand you can't really help beyond these tips since it has likely nothing to do with your mod, but I'll update this comment if I find a solution in case someone else has the same problem in the future.
