Sooooo... I just tried to upgrade Sexlab. I did the method of going into MCM and telling SexLab to 'clean itself'. It did that and I saved the game then installed the update. However now the game I guess still seems to think that the plugin is disabled. I tried using the matchmaker spells and I get a warning that says that a plugin is trying to access SexLab while it is disabled. So my question is, how to I re-enable SexLab?

This can happen if you do not disable all SexLab supported mods along with SexLab during the cleaning process. You need to do the cleanup steps at the original post again.

I'm having a problem with the victim mode. I'm assuming it starts when your health drops really low but nothing happens for me.  Is there a way to edit the aggressor settings beyond the positions? Like what percentage of health you need to fall under before it starts?

This is just a frame work. There is no combat rape, until a plugin is made for it.

i have a question on installation, for any new rev.,

 

If i completely start a new character for each new release, all i have to do is, replace the files with the newer released files, and run fnis right?

even if you start an new game, this not affect , you need clean the mod , the only way to install the mod without use the clean technic is to delete all the files added by the mod in the skyrim data (script/meshe/etc..) , start the game, play, save, quit, and reinstall the new version of the mod ... this make the same situation like if you never have play with the mod before (only if you start an new game, do not try to load an old save)

 

this way should be :

...delete all

...steam integrity verification (just secure^^ )

...start new game (if you start new game you shouldnt have error message about missing mod etc..)

...play a little

...save

...quit

... reinstall FNIS and the body you use (specially if you use bbp) this is a security for have functionnal FNIS and skeleton and limit the crash of this mod due to possible missing files

...reinstall the sexlab mod

...run FNIS tool

...check the mod

...go play ^^

 

its look long , but like this you are sure to have an clean version of skyrim with clean version of FNIS and clean version of sexlab compatible with the skeleton you use, shouldnt have any problem to run like this ^^

Yes, if your starting a new game with the update, just replace the files, run fnis, and go.

*) That's not totally true, at least for me.

I started a new game and, previously, I deleted all my savegames (Saves folder empty!), all my papyrus.logs, all my skse.logs and so on.

After I created my new char and I started the game, I did a savegame.

At this point, I installed SexLab Rev. 4 and some related plugins.

Entering the game I had the error message box about not cleaned upgrade from Rev 0 to Rev 4.

 

So, even with everything deleted before, there is still some reference of SexLab somewhere in the game.

I don't know where, why and how, but it is.

eeeh...yeah i see.. but at same time when you read an thread , generally you start by open the first page of the thread , specially because in all thread (can say in all website) the download,log and all information is always mentionned in the first comment of the thread and regulary updated by the autor..(well, thats what i make myself everytime i go read an thread , i look at the first message for see some update or something)

so , make like me, everytime i come here , i see the first page (favorite the page in the web browser) , then just click on the double >> and you go in the last page (not recommanded too because some information can be say in 2 or 3 last page of comment)

my point of view ^^


 

 

Theres a reason why this thread got over 150k views. Less people refreshing the page = less load on forum.

if you mean LOG , the link i have post before allow people to see the log , log= update notes right ? or...i m totally lose about this O_O

 

 

for see the log, go first page, go down and click "FILE URL : view file" , then, go down again and click "see full changelog"

 

the rev4b changelog is posted , for see the old log click on the blue letters ^^

 

 

i think peoples didnt have understand , this is the support topic.....

I wish there was a option to control the final stage of sex (the orgasm) because, in some animations the best scene is the last one, and it its the one I can't control (it last some seconds) even if I increase the duration on mod configuration... sometimes it will feel to long. Can you make a option to ''only finish when I press the ''next stage hotkey''''' or it just happens when I ''disable auto advance sex''.

I use XPMS, toggle collision for player is off. I do all my testing with default sexlab settings, unless I'm specifically testing a setting for some purpose.

 

Here's screenshots taken just now on Rev 4b, using 3 different positions, using the bed in Bannered Mare as an example:

The fact that it's a double bed instead of a single may play a part, though in my original testing I made sure to test a single bed as well, and as I recall the single bed in the Sleeping Giant Inn worked fine, though a little more off than doubles but nothing major.

I have a couple ideas for changing the way SexLab deals with beds that might help though, I'll test them now and if I find any success I'll include it with Rev 4c, which I'm hoping to release today.

Thats so odd because thats the exact bed I was in at the time when I noticed this last. I'd actually used Matchmaker to test to make sure things were working but I had to go downstairs and use the spell to pick the right target...I was about halfway up the stairs when I got the prompt and told it yes.

 

Its possible that SexLab yanking both actors up a level in the cell might have been what caused the issue, effectively if the transition to the bed is on a Z axis, then the actors continue to fight the Z axis change until the sequence is over...which may not actually be something you can fix cause I think that might be a Gamebyro problem.

 

Though now that I think about it transition from cell location to bed location on any axis with a distance more extreme than about 20 units might be a little rubber-bandy.

 

 Your not alone, Ihave the same problem, and I am using the exact same Skelly and mods.  

 

If find a clear level spot, it works fine.

 

P.s.

 

I am using version4b but the camera is still sometimes (not everytime) locked in the vertical rotation.  It seems to happen when scene is instigated by an npc rather than the player.

Animations on beds work fine for me. Using the XPMS for female but vanilla for male as without vanilla for male some animations don't seem to want to line up.

Its not the offsets, its the way the models jump up and down while in animation sequence while on a bed that is giving me vertigo. Its not "jumping" like actual jumping...its just both models constantly seem to be trying to offset up then down and its a very fast sequence in most animations.

 

I'm using XPMS-Chesko-1HDBack|Dagger as a skeleton, latest FNIS and Rev4b and every time I choose "use a bed nearby" in almost every animation sequence the offsets keep changing and to be honest I can't tell if its camera or the actual animations at this point as I haven't tested it between a room with a normal roof height and a big open room with a high roof and a bed in the middle.

 

 

 

I've got a potential fix for your bed offset problems done. I've tested it on double and single beds and it works fine for me, including with the AP and arrok 69 animations, both of which gave me some trouble before. AP still has a minor trouble with the laying animations having the male off the end of the bed just a touch, not much more I can do there though without coding specific cases on a per animation basis.

 

Bed animations have always generally worked for me though, so I make for a bad litmus test.

 

I've attached the changed scripts, just drop them in your data folder and overwrite the current ones.

If anybody mentioning or having bed alignment issues could help me out and test it asap so I can get it done in time for releasing Rev 4C tonight, I'd be grateful.

 

Let me know your results, good or bad. If you continue to have bad alignment on a bed, let me know what bed you were using, what animation, and what the message popups said when you started the animation.

about bed, i have see the dragonborn bed is not compatible , i mean, the mod not detect the bed in solstheim, idk why...do you have this problem too ? or somebody else ? its very weird O_O i have test with the INN bed :(

Tried it at the Whiterun Inn (using Lover's Comfort) and it worked. Kept getting popups though about positioning before it start the animation but it looks ok so far. Thanks Ashal

Ok, I'm having a weird problem, and I've been trying to solve it for hours with no luck. Maybe one of you in this wonderful community can help me :)

 

 

I have SKSE, FNIS, and SexLab Romance and I think they're working fine.  So the problem goes as follows: The mod seems to work, but only for a short time. I can initiate a sex act, but can only use the keys to change positions etc. for a few seconds. Then something happens (I'll call this 'The Crash'), and I can no longer use the keys, nor does the animation progress. The characters keep going with the same animation until I use the -stop all animations- thing in the MCM. After this, I can't initiate another sex act until I use -clear animations-, save, and reload. 

 

'The Crash' also sometimes happens before sex even begins, with only one of the characters getting naked and no sex, or sex being accepted but then nothing happening.

 

So... you know... any help would be appreciated since I've been at this for so long. I bet the problem will turn out to be something silly. -.-
