xaz Posted July 28, 2013 Author Posted July 28, 2013 Not sure if this has been said already, but I'd like a little more interaction as a prisoner. I have have tried this a few times with the new version. I usually start out killing a guard, maybe two and before I get too low on health i sheathe and submit to jail. Which follows being in the cell and so far, taken to the stocks for a time and often one npc takes advantage in the stocks, then I go back to jail and usually get whipped before being released. I don't know if there are random factors, but usually two encounters for each capture even if I killed several guards. I would like to see the guards or jailer pay more visits to the cell to punish the prisoner in whatever way they see fit. Maybe more than one person approaching while in the stocks. Having whatever guards are in the jail run a train on you would be a nice addition. To sum up, I like the mod and what it does, I just want it to do more. I like someones idea of being kept in a restrained state even in the cell. More of this is coming. Also, if you're in one of the "boring" cities, there'll also be more action. @guyfreely, in the MCM configuration for Prison Overhaul you can turn up the frequency that things happen while in the pillory. Try setting it to every 1 hour, or even half hour, you'll have a lot lot more interaction that way while your character is on display in the stocks. Good point. I should also probably change the default setting, because I always find myself changing it like this.

Just chiming in to say/report that I've been using this since the update, and not having any more issues The first time I reported back I also said It was working flawlessly but I did mention I didn't test it in Riften. Well now I have, along with some other places, included a smaller town, and everything works perfectly Great work xaz! It's refreshing to see a mod work just as intended, flawlessly without seeing the author spend so many working hours just trying to fix things. That means both more time for new things and free time for you So I for one am excited. Can't wait for the next update to see what you're coming up with, and hopefully someday SexLab compatibility Cheers!

JUSSME Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 this mod is incompatible with better vampires do you think you can make a patch for this? edit i got it to work by making better vampires before this mod loaded. however you need to add the vampire fraction to be allowed to be imprisoned or at least add a feature where your executed for being a vampire in prison or perhaps cured of your vampirism by a priestiest. because vampires are not recognized by the mod the guard just walks away like nothing happened

When you submit to be taken to Jail, you should be bound and led there, then handed over to a Jailer who makes you strip and leads you to your cell... if none of that is happening then sounds like the mod is not active. Is it in your MCM menu when you hit ESC and go to Mod Configuration? Do you see Prison Overhaul in the list? Did you get zaz-animations? I believe that is required for this mod to work, and be sure to run FNIS after you install it. If what i just said sounds greek to you, let me know... good luck! Its definitely worth getting it going.

sarahlost36 Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 So you want to check in Prison Overhauls General Tab, under Punishment, see the Time Between, that is how often you get punished, make that number SMALLER to get punished MORE. I have mine set to 1 for every hour. If you want the punishment to last longer, see that Punishment Duration setting, increase that for more action. Sounds like you are close!

Where are you getting arrested ? Not all towns are compatible right now. If there's no stockade somewhere outdoor, you'll just be put in a cell, then whipped just before you're released.

It has everything. Some towns have limited features due to no available pillories for example. Also take care your bounty is high enough or not much will happen. Way to go is to enter the inn and kill someone in there, then let the guards take you.

If you read the instructions on Zaz animation pack (which is a requirement for this mod), it has instructions for playing animations on actors. Not really what you wanted, but maybe close enough?

Are you not arrested if you're a vampire?

Problem is that it was behaving that way while at rest - not in combat - so it was impossible to turn the camera around the PC anymore. That problem persisted after a save. I had to reload before jailtime to fix it.

So I don't know where to put the code to fix it. I'll try to find the discussion in SL-submit and see what I can find there.

Stealer Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Hello just tried this mod, downloaded all the needed mods launched the game with SKSE, last patch, last version of SKSE last version of FNIS but sadly it won't work for me. The script goes pretty well since the jailer comes and take me to the pillory as he should but once i'm there nothing happens, the jailer just tell me his usual sentence ( now don't move prisoner (or something) ) then skipping to the part where I have to go back to my cell, sometimes the jailer come to my character with a whip and punish me, but since my character isn't moving (while being whipped) I guess there's a problem with the animations ( most likely ) but I can't figure what I did wrong. Oh and apparently there's only two options with the jailer, the whip scene and the pillory, editing the Prison Overhaul configuration doesn't seem to change anything for me. Jeez I suck at modding but you know... The fap needs ! Shall I upload a list of used mods ?
