Decals seem to get removed as son as my character gets her clothes back anyway

 

But yeah, I had to fix the decal settings so they'd show more than a pitiful few and fade fast.

I am having problems with the mod, Whiterun, Riften, where I surrender and the binds appear on my character, but the guard does not go to the prison. On top of that my character does not auto follow, seems to be more like teleport to the guard walking away, but again the guard does not go to the prison just goes back to normal behavior/patrolling.

 

I have tried to make sure there was no old scripts in the folder, installed/reinstall but to no luck. This started to happen when I updated the Zaz animation pack and now the new verison of this PO will not work correctly.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Scripts are called something starting with "xazp" or "xpo", if there are none of those, you're ok script wise.

 

Can you find anything in the log which indicates an error? Search for "xpo" in the log and if you find anything interesting post it here. Alternatively, post your log in a pm to me, and I'll go through it and see if I can find out what's not working.

Well so far I only see 'xbf' and 'zbf' towards the bottom of the script and source folders. I am kind of new, but learn quickly but where do I run 'the log' to make sure no 'xpo' files are existing somewhere?

Installation

After downloading and installing the official Prison Overhaul mod, make a backup of xazPrisonOverhaul.bsa and xazPrisonOverhaul.esp in your skyrim Data folder and overwrite them with the ones contained in the .rar

Change #1 - Whipping

• In the original mod you are whipped every day and you can "cheat" by going back to sleep right after you wake up until it's time for your release, potentially never being punished. When not "cheating" for long prison sentences the whipping can take a prohibitive amount of real life time.
• In my mod you are whipped only once, shortly before your release.
• There is no way to cheat it: you won't be released if you haven't been whipped. If you sleep past your release time, you will be whipped when you stop going immediately to sleep and release shortly after (~1 skyrim hour).
• This also allows for better RP. A guard whipping every single day is a bit strange.

Change #2 - Different Punishments

• In the original mod every crime consisted in the same punishment, the only difference is the length of time you spend in jail. You will be whipped even for stealing an apple.
• In my mod there are different crimes.
• Misdemeanor vs Felony: If your bounty is less than 240 you will spend less than 24 Skyrim hours in jail and the crime is considered a misdemeanor; you will not be whipped. If it's more than 240 it's a felony, and you will be whipped.
• Violent vs Non-Violent: If none of your crimes were violent you will not be forced to wear the gag during transporation (but you will still be bound). The guard will be sympathetic and won't strip search you; you will find yourself wearing the vanilla prison outfit with a lockpick in the backpack. If any of your crimes were violent or you previously escaped from jail you will be strip searched and put in your cell naked, without even the lockpick.
• If you were not strip searched and you escape the next time you are caught you will be stripped completely naked and the guard will comment trusting you was a mistake. [This feature does not always work 100% in that the guards won't always attack you on sight until you commit further crimes after your escape.. If someone wants to help fix this, please do]

Change #3 - More Dialogues

• There is a lot more text from the guards explaining to the player what's going on, for better RP.

I hope you enjoy it. The original mod author is welcome to incorporate the changes into the official addon and expand on them if he wishes to do so.

No, if you escape then you are not punished unless they catch you again

Probably not going to happen with this mod but what would also be fun is to be able to bribe the guard captain into making you a guard so you could arrest (frame) Naveen or some of the other annoying characters and be the guard who gets to apply their punishment.

Even if that were to happen, I wouldn't want it. I'd be concerned that could have repercussions on certain in-game NPC's either in relation to their hostility levels to the player or you accidentally killing them.

 Yeah I've checked, cause I tried it with a vanilla installation too. There also the whipping does not proceed.

 

For the problem with the copy of the character, in a previous version the copy apperas right after the first loading screen, entering a city, for example. With this version it can only occur, after entering a jail. It also didn't appear every time, I couldn't figure out what conditions must match to get the copy, yet.

Discovered an interesting bug with Sex Addict: Working Girl.

 

When you are taken the prison if you sleep on the bed or wait out with T, the Orcish Pimp from Riften shows up and stares at you when the guard opens the cell to whip you. He just teleports in and does so between the guard and you. You get locked into the punishment chained to the ceiling pose but the guard's pathing fails as he comes into contact with the pimp and he or she just stops everything and stares at the pimp. Then nothing happens. Forever.

 

Also, there doesn't seem to be a gag or bindings on if you get arrested as an Argonian.

You may want to try "set xpoFastForward to 1" in the console, just to see if there's some obstacle on your way there. Sometimes guards can't path past locked doors and so on.

Still bug in Skyrim, not this mod. Wish I could tell you how to get past it but I don't know. I couldn't get arrested for a long time and then suddenly I could. I even started a new game and that player couldn't get arrested.

 

It must have been caused by one of the mods I stopped using but I can't tell you which one.

Your slave mod did create new actors for me (on the last version you have posted) but I never had this occuring with PO in general... This is what confuses me... 

And mostly people forget they need to delete parts from 2 folders in scripts... 

 

If your mod fails make SURE all files are gone or you have bugs... I did...

Skyrim.ini is mainly camera stances and such... If you want to adjust your camera to be different moving over the shoulder and such... Can be a bit of a hassle changing that and such as I have a better aim at bows but I really don't get the right hits on sword hits on dead bodies XD

Skyrim.ini is mainly camera stances and such... If you want to adjust your camera to be different moving over the shoulder and such... Can be a bit of a hassle changing that and such as I have a better aim at bows but I really don't get the right hits on sword hits on dead bodies XD

 

i have a problemi IDK if its a body cause im using a CBBE with sweety beauty pack i didnt see any blood on my char when i got hit i have already remove all the armors on my previous save (january already deleted) i see some of it BTW im using EBT any help on this?

First of all do you have ANY blood mods installed ???

Second question do you see ANY decalls (like whipmarks)

And finally your graphics settings right now are ???

If your settings are to low it might actually stop any blood from functioning...

I use Enhanced Blood mod so ... I got lots of effects... To much sometimes that bloody mess

i see some of blood on the my enemy but i didnt some on my character also didnt see any whipmarks im using EBT for b lood and also im using more blood and gore

 

and also if i have my decal setting on none will i would see some blood on my enemies but not of my characteR?

 

 

Edit already see the whip marks it is located on the leg and also i need to turn on my decals about the blood of my character body i found what is causing it its the crimson tide mod whenever you character gets hit blood pool on you characters body its a shame that the owner abandoned it i think it would be more realistic  when the master is whiping and blood on you character body i wish someone would make that blood pool mod

I changed SexiS defeated plugin to trigger with the highest possible health threshold, and after a few whips the guard punished me in other way  , however it got stuck after that, the guard remained on the whip ready pose and my PC remained on the ground to never stand up even when the health was almost at 100%  , it was a funny experiment though, wish I  the rest of PO had continued, that would have completed this mod for me , just sharing
