I tried the V.12 in solitude.

First, the guard told my PC she will rot in jail, and then nothing happened.

 

So, I read on this thread I should remove all previous scripts files, I did it, and Everything seems to be OK now, in Solitude!

 

I will have a look on the other cities this evening.

Good to hear that solved it.

I use the "Imps More Complex Needs", and I have a problem - being in prison 14 days without food and water for my character death))) ...

You could add to your daily diet a few bottles of water and a little more than bread and other more high-calorie food :) ...

I don't have imps installed, so I can't say what would be a good amount. How much do you need each day?

To sum up:

 

If you're upgrading or things just don't work, make sure you've checked there are no left over files from previous installations.

* Check the scripts folder. Are there any files named something with xpo in the beginning?

* Check the scripts/source folder. Same thing, files with xpo in the beginnging of the file name?

 

If you notice any of these files, do a full uninstall (remove all files you've previously added), then add the new version of PO.

You might want to add this to your first post in the topic... As many have troubles doing it right... Well they shouldn't if they are a bit smart but most people (no offense intended) are plain stupid when it comes to installing and script setups...

 

Also seeing that most things are in order now kinda... I have a few small questions

 

1. Is it intended that your PC has now been set to loose mode :P I can use camera but my girl moves in the prison by the beatings... Now I don't know why but the intention you did was good to give us camera but movement is not good... However you might want to take a look at Sanguine Debauchery... It doesn't allow her to move and she gets beaten in it :P

 

2. Did you put that little pillory in the Whiterun prison ??? Or is that another mod I missed... 

 

3. What's your future plans ???

I do not have any files from previous versions in my game folders either and I have the latest Zaz Animation pack, latest Fuz Ro Doh, and I updated FNIS after I installed the mod just in case (I update FNIS after installing new animations or any mod the interacts with non vanilla animations just to be sure).

 

Any ideas would be nice.

How high is your bounty...

 

For odd reasons if you bounty is higher than a certain treshold I don't get anything of these options either... The guards just say "wait I know you"

 

And it's indeed annoying... The mod works but something in Skyrim is not used to that system of being able to pass by the certain treshold...

I have had my bounty anywhere from 40 to 20,000 and at several points in between. The problem I get is that they will come after me and then I sheath my weapon, I get the dialogue, I submit to go to jail, they tell me "smart woman", and then nothing happens. I get the gag and I get cuffed but the guards are not taking my character to the prison, they go back to their sandboxing. 

 

I have tested this in both Riften and Whiterun with the exact same result. I have also tried getting caught while really close to the jail to help the mod but no luck, it still gets the same error.

I punched a guy in the face, got a 40 gold bounty and was marched to the jail. No problem there.

 

My problem is that they took my Anti-vampire attacks amulet http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21615

 

so when I got out one day later, vampires had killed Adrienne :( 

 

so on that note, any way i can keep jewelry? 

Or does anyone have a "No vampire attacks" mod that works with 1.9?

I had that problem, too. You can solve it by attacking the guard (don't kill them!). They'll jump into action and out of their "wait I know you" routine and throw you straight into jail, as it should be. :D

tried out riften

worked fine except for one thing. 

 

there is a locked door guarded by a guard who you either need to bribe or persuade.

The guard who arrests you dont have the key so its a point where you get stuck unless you Unlock it with Console commands

I had that problem without PO even loaded, it is a Skyrim bug. At some point though it went away, I found I could be arrested and take the jail option (I could always pay the bounty, that never broke).

What you need is a mod like that one but uses MCM to turn on or off the various types of vampire attacks instead of basing it on the wearing of a piece of jewelry which ties up a valuable slot anyway.

tried out riften

Ran into that one myself, if you haven't visited the Riften jail once already that guard will hold you there though you can also persuade him if you're quick enough.

Well, SD still moves around a bit, but it moves back into position again. I'll see what I can do, because there will be wipping in some form. =)

 

The pillory in Whiterun is new. It'll probably not stay there, but I wanted something to experiment with.

 

SO future plans is to add better punishments. Maybe some better configuration options, and so on, but that's it for the next update. The mod appears to be mostly working, so ... =)

I found the problem. A "fix" will be provided on the next update. This was an issue with the crime dialogue in skyrim, so no fault of mine. Also, it'll work if you play a male character (I just removed a gender check).

Did you follow the update instructions? Some have reported the same problems you do before upgrading. To repeat:

 

1. Uninstall the mod

2. Start skyrim, load your save, save again

3. Install the latest version of the mod

4. Play with the save you just created.

Can't see whip marks (never seen in previous too). Is there a minimum resolution limit to see it?

I can move the camera during whipping, but PC moves too at whip contact. Personally I prefer the old method, as moving PC could bring problems (like falling into open gate in Whiterun). Just a personal opion though

Sure, you can add the whips manually, then go around and beat up NPCs with them. You can undress the NPC first, by (from the console) target them, then type "unequipall". Then add a whip for yourself using "player.additem". You'll have to find the item code for your self, or you can find one in the chest in the test cell (in ZAP).

Only decals I see is blood on screen and sweat over the body. But last one should be a texture, not a decal.

I am having problems with the mod, Whiterun, Riften, where I surrender and the binds appear on my character, but the guard does not go to the prison. On top of that my character does not auto follow, seems to be more like teleport to the guard walking away, but again the guard does not go to the prison just goes back to normal behavior/patrolling.

 

I have tried to make sure there was no old scripts in the folder, installed/reinstall but to no luck. This started to happen when I updated the Zaz animation pack and now the new verison of this PO will not work correctly.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you very much, you (and some google search) solved my problem.

Just in case, I tried lifetime 9999.0000 and it works :P

Not very long, but good enough :angel:

 

BTW - a note for anyone who has the same problem

decals settings at zero are default for "low resolution"

while "fDecalLifetime=xxxx" must be added under DISPLAY in you ini file
