OK, I found out what it. was.

I first checked all mods, then disabled them all as you suggested, with a specific save for that (except DLC, Unofficials, PO and ZAZ) but the problem was still here.

 

So, I carefully look inside EVERY folder of my game\Data.

I found that I still had almost all files related to the "zaz resources" (old version) inside the Data\meshes, Data\textures and (most important) into the Data\scripts.

EVEN if the esp file was NOT active by long time.

 

I cleaned up carefully everything, then I updated the entire ZAZ pack to version 5 (with corrected esm too) that already has new zaz resources included.

I reactivated all mods, checked again the load order and started the game.

 

Now, the mining works.

 

It's clear there was a conflict with some old animations and\or animated objects from the old zaz resources package even if the related esp wasn't active.

 

I'm sorry to have wasted your time.

EDIT: I forgot to say that the "MineOreScripts.pex" file is NOT present into my Data\scripts folder. No one file with "mine" or "mining" name into it there is.

It is easy to install mods but 10 times harder to remove them... Normally though the ZAZ pack should not have messed up anything either which makes it even more weird it's a problem with that... Anyway glad it is fixed on that part...

 

As I mentioned before though... You can DISABLE a mod but the FILES remain and the SCRIPTS as well causing probably bugs and stuff in some cases... Those can be very much annoying to find things and make you have to reinstall or stuff like that

 

A few tips would be to backup your DataFolder (basic) to an external place so you can always copy the ORIGINAL files back in...

 

As for your edit... I know that for some odd reason... I tried to find it once too and did not except for a mod... I think the main reason is that it's contained in a BSA containing most of your Skyrim data in general and that the script can be deleted to use the old version of it... I'm not sure if this is correct since I never tried messing on the original files but so far I hope that's true... Meaning if you clean out most of your files it should not touch anything...

 

Anyway just as I said... Before you say it's 1 mod make sure you check twice...

Strange stuff for me now, as at the beginning, everything worked fine with this PO last update.

But, now, my PC is not cuffed anymore when she's surrending to the guard. Leading to jail and punishment still works fine, but my PD doesn't get anymore her hands cuffed in the back.

I can see the cuffs on her wrists, but nothing more happened. the gag is still there too.

 

I installed last Zaz update when I installed PO v7, and everything was fine.

But now, since I upgraded FNIS to 3.5, and SKSE to 1.6.9, I wonder if there is a problem with that.

 

I tried to play from my "security save" skyrim folder (with SKSE 1.6.6), but the problem is still there. This problem is not the end of the world for me, but I just wonder how something which worked fine before, now doesn't work. Quite odd.

Then i guess the problem would be the ZazAnimationPack. because ZazAnimationPack scripted the gag and cuffs in this mod to make player go with bound idle and open mouth.so make sure you use the latest version or reinstalled the ZazAnimationPack V5 and reinstalled the scripts from this mod.

Just test out the V.7. works great and smooth..has become essential mod to me now (oh i also blame you xaz, because i keep letting my player get caught after doing crime, which i love it :D ).

 

Alter the xazpEscortToPrison.psc a bit, for adding some food/drink for the player since i'm using TRO, after got caught when on dehydrated phase and put sentenced to 4 day. hope you can come up with better idea. Maybe something like asking for water/food dialog like jbezorg did in Sanguine's Debauchery in enslavement part, but since there are no function for calling the guard it can be tricky to do but i do notes in Riften, Whiterun, Windhelm (didnt really test the other jail) there is a chance for player can talk to the guard while they standing/walking pretty close to the player cell, take that as an attempt for survival :P .

 

I do curious on the getting punishment part where player become unable to move. thought it was setdontmove command but turn out it was only to make player not moving around while being whipped. how did you do it ?

 

The whip marks was really good addition, but since i change the punish idle into Zazapcao304 (i just love that animation) didnt really get any whip marks, guess player body part need perfectly being hit by whip for it to show. Also hoping you can force the guard to remove shield while punishment scene.

 

Trying my best learn how do you make player controlled AI from this and Player Slave, even tho after seeing your scripts makes me think this is way above my head to understand. One  thing that i had in mind is it possible if i created simple quest for this player controlled AI behaviour but i can just select/choose the random NPC/actor ingame with certain command in console for controlling the player AI ?

 

Anyway just some report.

+ Reduced NPC Greeting : compatible, since i'm using it with this.

 - SeeYouSleep : can do play along, but if you choose to sleep while in prison then you'll get the sleep menu over and over, since it also triggering the punishment scene, need to TAB it after punishment is over (no biggie to me tho).

Try to re-run FNIS generator

and/or

Try to call zaz cuffs using console and see if hand behind back is working. This one I suggest to use with a save you can loose (or a new one) and don't save after.

True. This mod needs an update now that the next ZAP is out ... I'll do that asap. Been a busy week, so that's why there's been no update yet.

Updated. Should now be compatible with the latest ZAP.

 

New stuff:

Version check against Zaz Animation Pack. Warns if mismatched.

Reduced delay during the "unequip your items" scene.

Added a scene to escort the player out of jail once sentence is completed.

Npcs should no longer greet the player in a friendly way when player is a prisoner.

Made all of the quests start from a special boot quest, because the start up seems sensitive.

Cleaned up script bindings after renaming fragments.

True. This mod needs an update now that the next ZAP is out ... I'll do that asap. Been a busy week, so that's why there's been no update yet.

 

Take your time... I rather have a stable release with working things than a quickly put together bunch where things go missing

 

As so far ... I like this mod and I'm sure you are gonna make some lovely stuff out of this

Similar to what NicoleDragoness did in her message above, I've been blaming this mod for the freezes I get on the quest journal but it seems PO has nothing to do with them, so first of all, my apologies. Apparently, having too many quests on the journal and spamming the journal button 'J' too much makes the game freeze. I still don't know if that is a bug in the vanilla game or has something to do with SKSE+SkyUI+MCM combination though.

 

FYI, I started a new game without any LL mod and got lots of quests started on the journal and then started spamming the J button and then the game froze, that's how I tested it. You can probably check that out yourself in your game, actually I'd appreciate your feedback on this.

hi i have just installed V008,and have a problem when i start the game it reports that it expected to find zaz animation pack V005,but found V1.000000, yesterday i installed the latest zaz animation pack,also no matter how many people i kill i get 0 days jail time,so no punishment,and when the gaurd comes to release me he just stays by the jail door,so any ideas welcom,could it be an old script lurking some where? I did notice after i installed zaz animation pack v5 and i still had po v7,when my character was arested she wore the shackles but her hands where by her side not bound behind her back,apart from that the mod ran fine

For my main savegame (which I admit probably has a bunch of old scripts in it but used to work just fine) V.08 is telling me I have Zaz 1.0 when I have 5 - I've scoured my skyrim install for all traces of ZazResources (the old version) and reinstalled ZazAnimations 5.0 but it still tells me I have the wrong version. I've also found that guards won't take me to prison - if I submit I get gagged and cuffed and will follow them, but they don't take me anywhere, they just do their regular patrol.

 

I tried starting a new character (with the exact same mods installed) and it's not giving me the warning anymore and the guards are correctly jailing me, but always for 0 days, no punishments.

A quick fix until a stable version comes out, which I am sure wont be long, is just to open v7 PO in Creation Kit and change the Enchanting on the xpoCuffs: Instructions Follow

 

 

 

Step 1: Open zaxPrisonOverhaul.esp in Creation Kit, this should be the only file selected and make sure to set as the active file

 

 

Step 2: When the error messages appear just click 'Yes to all'

 

 

Step 3: In the 'Object Window' expand the items tree on the left, then expand armor, then click on 'ZaZ - Accessories' Items will appear on the right, and you'll want to DOUBLE click on 'xpoCuffsIronBlack'

 

 

Step 4: Change the 'Enchanting' value to 'zbfEnchantmentBondage'

 

 

Step 5: Hit 'ok' on the 'Armor' Window then save the file (File->save in the main creation kit window) Then UNLOAD PO from your game, start playing any save and create a new save, then close skyrim, load the plugin now and play as normal. Cuff anims should now work with the newest ZAP.

 

 

 

Sorry if this is frowned upon, I'm new here (2 posts, obviously) and I don't know if we are supposed to encourage changing other people's mods. Feel Free to edit, I won't be insulted.

Same problem here. Bounty is always 0, no matter what, even setting playercrimegold with console.

Okay let me see if I can give you a little helping hand... I had kinda the same thing as you in another way...

You said you use SKSE and SkyUI which I do as well... Also I have changed my inventory system icons in that way... When I played the game first time I was testing mod items... So my scripts and such all ran out in general... As I mentioned before... Putting mods in is easy but getting them out is hard to do... (Bethesda should learn what Bioware did with DO1 for modding)... Anyway... From all those mods I kept adding items to my inventory and I upped my carryweight to like 10000 which means I had shitloads of space... However... Every time I hit the inventory button my game froze up... It locked a few seconds than showed my inventory... It kinda pissed me off... Then I actually dumped all my items in a chest except a few and the effect was the freeze was gone... Similar to your journal...

 

However I kept looking on and the thing I did was turning off some options... I turned off the graphic option of Aliassing and I lowered the filtering...

Why did I do this... I used FRAPS because my game somehow lagged too... (I thought it was the install of the textures and stuff) but it kept running bad... Now depending on how you mod your graphics settings outside and inside a game do a lot of stuff... I found out that aliassing should be done on your graphics card which works decent if you let the card decide on it... But the best thing is then turning the game version off... You do not want it double...

I figured my framerate was low and when I opened inventory it dropped down to 5...

So either you let your graphics card do aliassing or the game but not both at once... It causes lag... It still loads slower with a LOAD of items but atleast it's not freezing up on doing so...

 

So what I say.. Either turn off aliassing on your graphics card or on your game and don't have way to many or it'll lock up... (does NOT do that in vanilla but SkyUI is prone to it)

...just tested it and found following.....

 

1. versions conflict ( v005 vs 1.00000000)  -  make a cleansave  (zap and po disabled) after the activation of zap and po  the problem is solved

 

2. only 0 days imprisonment

 

3. after release.....npc `s greets me more than criminals, no other conversation options possible

 

4. boundanim  works fine

 

 

 

@jinzen  .............. have the same problem with antialias......have long tested and

found the same solution....the problems are gone when antialias "off"

First of all, thanks for your suggestions, but I never use anti-aliasing, as my graphics card is kinda low-end or at least slightly outdated and also my game never locks up on inventory screen. 

 

Anyway, after some more testing I've now realized that the freezes have something to do with SkyUI 3.1 and MCM. Without them, no matter how many quests there are in my journal, I never get any freeze, even when I spam the journal key like crazy. I think the MCM is the most likely cause of my problems as it's also tied to the same menu system. I'm pretty sure most people would get the same sort of freeze if they spam the journal key when MCM is enabled.

Just as I suspected the freezes on the journal are caused by SkyUI+MCM.

Seems like SkyUI isn't perfect by far atm... Maybe they should adjust it a bit or something ??? Probably it didn't think it needed to buff that much
