Install an eyeglasses mod and pre-visit each cell in every jail to leave a pair there. That way your character can give the glasses to the guard and get beaten properly instead of air-whisked.

 

Seriously, I think the higher your armor rating (even when nude) the harder it is for the guards to hit you.  It's a part of the "combat mechanics" of the game which is really frustrating when it has to be applied here.

You are naked... Armor rating does not count there... It's just the offsets are not making it easy... Practically it's not functioning like it would be...

 

1. Guard enters and pushes you around while you have no control

2. Your chained up and the guard beats from the location he stands at in hit range on you...

3. Possible clipping occures when you are in the part of the cell where the guards moves towards...

 

When you get down to it... Whiterun sucks on the torture thing as the BEST viewable place is where the guard moves making you being pushed out of alignment and causes clipping auto... (well it's not a bug as it is working but it takes away view)

Addon for Xaz's Prison Ovehaul. This time it's supposed to be compatible (don't take my word for it) with any XPO version and doesn't modify XPO files.

TL;DR: criminals get to wear heavy iron/whatever things to make them suffer when they escape. Same stuff as the previous version. Details in readme_123.txt

 

 

 

XPOMOD_A2 is for XPO v009 and older

 

 

XPOMOD_A4 & A5b are for XPO v010

 

A4: criminals w/ 100k bounty get executed. Right now the only way is crucifixion which leads to loss of blood and happens in the cell (yeah i know, lame)

You don't see the health bar b/c of disabled controls, but you can move the camera. The other way is the opposite (hp bar, but no camera) and I don't know how to turn on both atm. Death animation is default so it looks lame too.

There were no sounds in the archive in a3 lol.

 

A5b: Fixed a dupe bug in A5. Maybe fixed a bug that won't equip restraints?. Criminals get a "heretic's fork" at 13k bounty. Don't look down and keep your head up at about 40 degrees above the horizon lol.
In 3rd person view the camera direction is recorded only when you move or do something. If you were looking up while moving, then stopped and rotated the camera, the script will use the angle obtained before you stopped. Basically it points your head in the same direction where your camera is pointed.
To enable vertical head tracking type in console:
    set xpomodheadtracking to 3
to disable it (headtracking is disabled by default due to twitching!!! you've been warned) type:
    set xpomodheadtracking to 0

 

 

Note: Since the collar doesn't let you wear armor/clothes you don't have to cheat anymore by using nude/skimpy armor replacers that let you run naked(or almost naked) while having full armor rating. .....Should be fun with Frostfall XD

Earlier mentioned it's bugged by a flag not set... You can manually adjust that getting the CK... 

 

However to the guy waiting for the update... It's the mod itself and the placement is not really the thing... The thing to blame is the guard pushing... The guard moves to a certain location in the prison cell... He ALWAYS does... In ANY place... The thing is some cells have light on only a few places causing it to screw you up in a nice overview... You must position and you must have a nice lighting if you want to enjoy the torture the most... Would be quite cool however to expand his mod as he is... He's done with the basics kinda Now the expansions up to come

 

Xaz... Suggestion... Do you think it's possible from making the guard get on the whip from at the door... Then auto target player who's in the cell itself... It might actually stop any clipping... And REMOVE that shield as it's the biggest clipping bastard of them all... (so when you switch them remove shield from the guard... Since it ALWAYS equips on the left hand it's even easy to re-equip it)

 

And I'm kinda curious... Seeing the only bugs are some flags not set atm... What are you up to next ?

I don't think I saw anything with the issue I'm having but I have everything up to date and the actual issue is once I'm arrested and bound, getting to the prison never happens. Like once I'm bound the guard will go in different direction from the prison and then as soon as I walk the other my character freezes. and then like say I try to wait it brings me to a completely different area in that hold.

Basically, I'm in a bug fixing phase right now, because RL is taking a lot of time from me. It's easier to focus on small changes when that happens.

 

Major other features, I guess, is to create some kind of "real" punishment for the player. Meaning something which isn't just whipping in a cell, but maybe also not entirely "realistic".

each time I wait for 1 hour/sleep for 1 hour, nothing happen. the guard won't come to my cell and hit me....
any help?

I don't know if you know but this question has been repeated a few times and answered with an UNSET flag in the config files... Which basically means... Either you learn CK on how to adjust scripts (I should make an attempt) OR you wait for the next update...

 

You could also roll back to the last working version but ...

 

Well as for a fact someone just adds to this mod what would be integrated if I'm remembering right so his bugs are not xaz his bugs...

 

 

And Xaz... You aint the only one with RL issues... So take your time. Fix whatever you can, think about ideas and add something in...

As for unrealistic punishment... Why do I get an Estrus feeling ???

I have got a problem that, when the guard enter room and started whipping, he is standing exactly the same place at my character.

I have no idea why, but it's not normal. Does it happen often/always or rarely? I've only seen it in my game either on older versions or when messing with the console because a guard got stuck and I decided to force move her to the player.

 

If you're good with the console, you can find the Alias (sqv xpoMain) which points to "OutsideCell", then "prid <guard id>" "moveto <outside cell id>". If that sounds like gibberish to you, then I'm not sure how you can fix the issue locally.

 

I'm updating today, so you should try the latest version.

As I'm really tied, I'm going to do some playing instead of modding. Due to RL, it's mostly small stuff changed/added, so don't be disappointed if it's kind of thin. My time has been limited at the moment.

 

Changes:

Prisoners are no longer handed clothes. They still manage to smuggle lockpicks however.

Bug: Guards now unequip their shield when picking up the cane.

Bug: Guards no longer force moveTo if they are in the same cell when a new scene starts. (Time saver which could break immersion.)

Food is handed out to the prisoner every 24h.

Player has weapons unequipped when first being arrested.

DontMove temporarily removed. You now get pushed around by the guard instead.

 

Apart from this I did a lot of cleaning up which was needed to add new stuff. Hopefully it should be way easier now ...

 

.... aaaaand, make sure, if you're installing this manually, you clean out old scripts and so on (they're all named xazp or xpo something). I've removed a lot of script files, and although I think they won't hurt your install ... if I'm wrong, it'll be messy to figure out. I really recommend WryeBash for mods that frequently update.

Bug report: In Riften prisoning does not work properly. After removing your clothes guard waits and then nothing happens.

 

However, thank you for your work. It's a very good mod. If you accept any idea for your future work, it would be good to have raping animations for female chars.

If you're in Riften jail you get teleported 3 times, each time getting closer to the chest because the AI pathing needs a lot of space. Even in Dawnstar the guard stops like 5 times while walking down the stairs.

If you're stuck on "remove clothes" for a long time then it's  a rare annoying bug that happens sometimes.

I don't get taken to prison anymore with the latest update... Tried to get myself arrested but guard never went direction the prison in whiterun... Will test on another but if not working I dunno what actually happened... I did clean up the files though might be a bug somewhere else but tried some ways and nothing worked so far

Whiterun and Dawnstar are fine w/ v010, I just tried it. The only bug I've seen is getting stuck on stripping which I think can be avoided by running away from the guard when he goes to the chest to let the ai take control of your char.

Do you see dialogue? Does the guard seem to "get stuck"? I tried Riften a few times, but maybe I got lucky...

This is kind of strange, because there's more or less no triggers on that scene anymore. It's just a sequence of events. Are you free to move about when this happens?

 

1. Move to the evidence chest (Player should be free to move about at this stage.)

2. Line of dialogue

3. Move all player's items to the evidence chest (doesn't touch quest items)

4. Move away toward the cell. (Player should be free to move about at this stage.)

Strange. Did you get any of the other arrest events (bound/gagged/weapons unequipped)?
