I'm getting a missing texture for the blood splashed on the floor/walls after a whipping scene in Whiterun, is it just me or anyone else getting this?

Same here, missing textures in the prison.  Screenshot is in the Rifton jail.

I there a way to have this effect NPCs along with the player?  So during the day you can watch a prisoner being escorted to the stocks (pillory) or cross bar?  Instead of nothing happening unless you commit a crime.

That blood should be a vanilla texture. Sounds like something is wrong with your installation...

So after making a clean save, re-installing prison overhaul the follower function actually worked and they get arrested with me. However, when it comes to the pillory, nothing happens whatsoever. I'm put in there and my follower stands just a bit away tied with his hands behind his back. No punishment event took place. So by fixing one problem, I got another. Any ideas?

I looked at it thru Skyrim Creation Kit and even downloaded a decompiler for Papyrus scripts.  Unfortunately I don't know how to mod and reverse engineering a mod with zero modding experience and no real spare time is damn near impossible.  Spent an afternoon and all I got was a headache :-)

Why are you decompiling scripts? Look in the SOURCE folder for the original sources. There are some dead-brained people who keep their source files to themselves in an attempt at showing an non-existant mental superiority (BBLS Luxury Suite is one but not the only example) but few such people exist here at LoversLab where we LIKE to encourage each other.

First, thanks for a really great mod.

 

Here is some suggestions:

- some kinda "brighten cell" option: maybe its just my graphics card or a particularily dark day in Skyrim or that particular area but my first "trip" to the cell was very dark. I couldnt see much sadly. Of cause i do understand a cell has to be dark for immersion etc. Perhaps its better to:

- add pillory on/off option & cell "action" on/off: as some probably want more of one than the other. This may also "fix" the "dark cell" if it allows you do activate it during daytime. Or somehow being able to change event sequence .. and a "random" option is always popular (and extremely immersive) too.

- pillary in cell option: or pillory in prison option. Not saying to remove the current placed pillories, but i must admit that im hitting the "fast forward" a lot. Also people who use many mods always crosses their fingers every time you have to load into a new area. Putting the pillories inside the jail or cell would cut down on troubles & cut down on travel time at the same time.

 

Anyways, these are just suggestions  :)

 

Smallish bug: well, not a bug really more like a user enforced accident. I had "event" in the pillory set to every 30 min and hit the T button for 1 hour while the current "event" person was still in action. Not really sure what happened but the second "event" person arrived and just stood there in "busy" along with the jailer in "busy" too.

Heya Xaz!

 

I'm not sure if I said this already, but great mod nevertheless :)

 

Just my two cents; why isn't there more of ZAP's tormenting furniture / animations here? it would give a ton of variety and options, my pc would stay more in prison rather than out of it that way, lol.

 

No really, I mean I get that smaller cities might be difficult to fit in some of the bigger machines but you still have Solitude, Windhelm and Whiterun to play around with that have plenty of space to parade the prisoner. You can even edit the prison cells and create doors leading to torture rooms.

 

Also a threeway with two guards is a good punishment when you're inside your cell I believe. And maybe Forcing you to hump a dog? There are a couple of dogs in some smaller town prisons I believe, if not, they can always be added.

 

All of the above could be toggle-able in case some might not like them of course.

 

One last thing, I'm using Dangerous Nights too which adds a good touch especially when you're sharing your cell with another prisoner(s), but of course I risk ruining XPO's scripts every time my pc is assaulted in her sleep; so, I thought it would be nice if someone can patch the two mods if possible, make them work in tandem instead of fighting for priority.

 

Whew... I'm sorry I went on for a bit here, it's just that I really love this mod and wish for more out of it, however, you've done your piece and I do appreciate it as is, thanks again! :)

Something may have gone haywire. Try reloading a previous save before encountering the guard (before triggering the arrest), go to an interior, preferably one with no guards inside, go to the MCM menu and hit the Reset mod button (you'll have to readjust any adjustments you've previously  made).

 

This should in most cases solve any issues you might have, otherwise a clean reinstallation of the mod is advised. Hope that helped.

Yeah, don't hit T during one of the animations. It will mess things up. You can do it between times (even use it to skip to the end of the pillories) as much as you want.

First time I've had a problem with this using latest sexlab 1.59 and latest defeat.   Too much damage is being caused by being whipped player dies on whipping scene. Never had this happen before.

Using SL1.59 and there are some problems. Forced Reset had been applied to PO

 

@Bane_Master - Patch no longer works DD items are left on the pc

1/ As reported by tarl7 the whipping is now doing a lot of damage. On my level 19 pc it took my health down to around 25% (EDIT3: This may have just been a glitch as it didn't happen in Riften)

2/ At end of pillory scene (tested in Falkreath) when the jailer takes the prisoner back to the cells as second pillory is fitted to the pc which stays attached even in the cell (so the pc is still in a pillory while in the jail cell).

 

Haven't been able to test the jail cell routines yet

 

EDIT:

 

Regarding the pillory issue, the good news is that it seems to be just a graphical artefact, if you jump then it disappears. A second pillory gets added when the Jailer releases you (see screenshot)

EDIT2:

 

The rest of it in jail plays out fine though whipping in jail does so much damage it triggers Defeat (had to set it down to 1% to stop it clashing) - see EDIT3 looks like it was just a glitch

I have just tested XPO31 with dDpatch 2.4 using SL1.59 and ZAP 562  -  everything ran fine for me.

 

I don't use any SL functions In the patch so I am not sure why your upgrading to SL1.59 would have had any effect.

 

My test script:

 

1 .Switch to SL 1.59 and ZAP 562 in NMM (direct upgrade - no clean save)

 

2. Load last save & wait for mods to finish updating

 

3. SL: Run "Clean system"

 

4. ZAP: Restart

 

5. ZAP: Rebuild base animations

 

6. ZAP: Register animations with SL

 

7. XPO: Force Restart  (to reinitialise the patch)

 

8. Test XPO/dD Patch - all good...

Same mods and process as you but items stayed on (you can see them on the screen shot). Did you test in Falkreath (in case the cell location makes a difference). I'll retest and get you a log.

Here's the log, hope it means more to you than it does to me. Just to be 100% sure I did clean and rebuild of SL, restart and register of ZAP and force restart of XPO (you'll see then in the logs no doubt)

Right after you give us your certification that you will only ask intelligent questions.  :P

 

 

Seriously, even when it works for the one who tests it there's always a chance your configuration isn't going to like it because somehow it conflicts with some other mod in a major way.

 

 

The only way you are going to know if its OK for you is to try it yourself.

how do I use this

Get arrested anywhere but markarth or winterhold. The rest will take care of itself. ;)
