I'm having some issues with the bountyhunter. The NPC does spawn (1 'bounty hunter' NPC) but all it does is follow me around. No dialog possible.

Got the settings on 1 hour and 100 bounty. Stole the horse in Whiterun 3 times to get 150 bounty. Tried it multiple times, with reset trough MCM.

 

Any thoughts on this problem? The logs only say Bounty quest started and the crime scanner keeps telling me "xpoCrimeScanner: (Scanning) OnUpdate"

 

Same problem I have, bounty hunter won't engage my character in conversation, and trying to talk to them doesn't do anything either.

 

 

Bounty Hunters haven't worked for a while now, I think it's on Xaz's list to be looked at

That's a shame, it has nice potential. But I would suggest that the vanilla bounty quest gets disabled and replaced. Had the 3 tugs spawn and the non-responsive PO NPC all at once :D

Well, darkconsole, it must be a conflict with one of your other mods.

The only thing I can come up with, and how I died from a whipping once (at low lvl), is that a collar that is locked (such as the ones from Captured Dreams) will prevent the prison collar from being equipped. And without the collar's regenerate effect you can die from the whipping.

This will certainly mess things up. Make sure you have that collar removed (removed it from console otherwise), before getting arrested. I'll add additional checks in PO to make sure the collar slot is correctly unequipped.

When i get arrested, my character will just be bound and stand still, and if i try to move i will turn around and go back, or eventually teleport to the guard that's standing still. If i get arrested inside a prison (tested whiterun), i'll move over to the jailor, where he'll take my equipment, but then just hang there. Is there anything i'm doing wrong or do i just have an incompatible mod?

I have all the requirements, and the optional ones as well. All the mods are sorted in LOOT. I can't really see what should be incompatible, as most of my non-LL mods are basicly game fixes and mechanic overhauls that do not touch prisons.

 

Same here, i have everything installed but when i test it ingame the guard escorts me to the prison and puts me next to the supposed NPC but nothing happens. I always had followers when i tryed it, might that be a proplem?

Okay now i got it to work once, i got bondaged, locked in the cell and waited there then the guard came and put me in some pillory but there is no other animation that that. What am i missing?

 

Oh yeah i get the message that my desires are satisfied but it does not play the animation.

i had that problem too, in the past... asked here and then sombody (RJLbwb) answered me this...:

 

"I was having the same problem - the fix was going into the ZAZ animation MCM menu and clicking register on the Sex Lab page of it AND making sure the Sex Lab, Deviant Devices and so on's *.esm files were on top of the load order for Skyrim."

 

after doing as suggested i never had that problem anymore... maybe it'll work for you too...

Here iis the next update of the XPO patch for anyone using PO with Devious devices - posted here by kind persmission of Xaz,

The patch adds (somewhat) immersive handling of Devious items the changes are pretty simple (as are my coding skills!).  Companion support is now included!


 


Chastity belts, chastity harnesses, Bras, Plugs, armbinders and gags are removed by the jailer at the beginning of the sentence  allowing easy access to the prisoner for guards etc..


 


On release all the items are locked back on. Also (obviously due to an "Administrative error in the Evidence chest Department") any valid player chastity keys are lost!


 


If the prisoners escape the items are "stored" and when they are next imprisoned they are "returned" on release if they were not wearing a dD item of that type when re-arrested.  It is beyond my skill to make this specific to a particular hold - so this happens wherever they are next locked up by PO (guess they are sent via UPS - "Universal Parcels Skyrim"    ;)).


 


Due to the fact that dD items on companions do not always show as equipped even when displayed companion support is unable to determine what items were equipped on arrest - therefore if the companion is carrying multiple items of the same type the first one found in the inventory will be re-equipped. 


 


There are a few simple notification messages to help explain what happens as the action takes place.


 


Basically I did this to learn some papyrus scripting and for a bit more immersion - I'm sure it could be done at lot better, but this seems to work.


 


To use install over XPO v031 - and restart PO from  the PO Debug page in MCM!!!   You should see a patch initialised message...  (NMM or Mod Organizer recommended for installation! )


 


For the avoidance of doubt, I am a rank amateur at modding and this unofficial patch is provided "as is " to use at youir own risk!


 


Xaz is currently considering adding his own dD support to PO - if he does then this series of patches will end.


 


This version takes advantage of the new generic device functions in dD and *should* work for any correctly defined dD device. Unfortunately this means that there are too many combinations for me to test - so if when you come across something that is not working let me know and I will take a look.

Got a bit of an issue here. I recently updated since I haven't played Skyrim for a few months, made a new, clean character so I wouldn't have to worry about old versions of mods conflicting. Arrests work fine, but when a guard attempts to initiate a sex animation in the cell my character will equip cuffs and a gag and become stuck in a T-pose, while the guard animates normally. Any idea what might be causing this?

I have a question- there is a bounty level limit to how sane guards and bounty hunters will be upon arrest, I believe 1000 septim's is the vanilla limit. After which guards/ bounty hunters are attack on sight. Once this behaviour is activated it can be very difficult to surrender. Putting weapons away is hit and miss. In fact go high enough and the vanilla code decides for you that you must be crazy and there's no surrender option. By all means correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I've learned from doing and wiki's

 

So assuming the above is correct, the Minor and Major crime slider's in PO MCM menu: Is it purely cosmetic, at what level you are treated more harshly in prison, or does it also make changes to the amount of septims a guard will go crazy at?

 

I ask because I had a variety of crime bounty mods to make stealing more punitive. 100 for trespass, not 5, changes along those lines. Alas they all seem to make murder 10K, and it seems there is no way to give yourself up at a 10K bounty, aforementioned crazy behaviour creeps in. So does major crime slider raise the ceiling on what point is "Crazy no surrender" or is it purely related to cosmetic/npc interaction within the prison system itself?

This mod forces you to talk all the way to a prison. There is an option to fast forward in the MCM menu but that completely breaks immersion.  This mod is still extremely buggy as well.  IMO you should just remove having to follow the guard while being gagged until you perfect it.

 

This mod is still in a early alpha state.  It's a great effort though but in its existing state it breaks immersion.

Got the same problem i've reported before were the guard takes me to windhelm from falkreath. This is a new character running the latest PO with the dd patch hes my lo pap logs from when I tried to play it out anyways altho even 4 full days later I want getting released and another attempt with a restart of the mod and a ss of the mcm menu with what I believe might be it displaying a issue.

Logs 0 is a restart attempt and 1 has my playthrough. I did not have the last dd patch installed for these so im gonna load back up and try again this mod has worked fine for my current install on another character I have no clue what went wrong.

This happens when the system can't find the right resources inside the jail. It could be very easy for a mod to overwrite them without knowing. Moving a door in the jail, or attaching a keyword is enough to break PO for that city.

 

It happens on mods that you wouldn't expect, like some mods that add Npcs and so on.....

 

Try placing Prison Overhaul last in your load order and see if that fixes things. If it does, then there's conflicting changes in some of your mods.

Two things I can think of:

 

1. Re-run FNIS

2. Make sure Zaz Animation Pack is the latest version.

It works fine. Or at least I haven't heard about anyone else experiencing what you describe.

 

If you have mods that force you to have dialogue when gagged, then I suggest you disable those mods. Prison Overhaul does not force any dialogue on you, and moving to jail does not involve talking or dialogue.

 

I suggest you start by follow the troubleshooting section on the first post.

Hi xaz. I'm loving the mod, but i have one problem. Sometimes, my character follows the jailor by herself, and sometimes i have to control her and follow him myself. But after being at the pillory, it seems like i lost all control of my character, and now the only thing working, is when she walks herself. I can't move her in any way, and when we get to the prison cell, he opens the door to the cell, and there i'm supposed to walk inside the cell myself, but my character is unable to move. Any idea what can be wrong?

Hello!

I just downloaded this mod and all of its required mods.But I cannot get animotions on punishments.Characters are just standing like this.Every other function works perfectly but I'm having problem on animations.How can I fix it?Please help.
