Setting stage 155 did the trick, but the quest immediately got stuck again in the dressing chamber. The gate didn't close behind me, and after changing into the visitor suit, nothing more happened.

 

I made numerous attempts, and one time (but only that once) the gate closed behind me after I went through (which is how I know it was supposed to do that all along), and then I got stuck.

 

I tried increasing the stage numbers to help things along, and one time someone (who I assumed to be the warden) showed up and talked to me, but then it got stuck again afterwards. But the warden never showed up again after that.

 

It's almost as if most of the time, whatever is supposed to move the quest along doesn't work properly. Every now and again I get lucky and then I get one or two stages further before it locks up again. Might be some dumb mod conflict but which of my 90 active mods is at fault? Who knows?

 

I guess I'll just have to put my hopes into the next version. Glad to know you're still working on it.

The issue is in your mod setup itself, script lag likely.

tbf, while  it's annoying to answer stuff that's been answered before, combing through over a thousand messages on every mod you want to look for updates on is also pretty annoying.

That's only the case very rarely. Prime's post is only 1 post before his question, not thousands. It's good manners to at least check last and second last page before posting. Majority of forum users don't do even that much.

I mean I get it, maybe I'm weird I don't mind reading through stuff especially when I'm bored and should probably be working. I probably came off as rude unintentionally.

I just don't see any progress, even intermediate. Or does the author plan to publish a full release version in a couple of years? Then I don't understand even more what the point was to tease people like that. Most developers at least publish bug fixes (for example, I see that the vacuum bed should work, there are scripts there, but for some reason this bed does not respond to interaction at all, I’m already silent about the fact that in the same room where there are a lot of vacuum beds, you can open the door to narnia)

First mod, taken a mouth full that's too big to swallow. Getting that bite down is sloooow. Add real life, add computer problems.

What is currently available? An almost complete facility ... I also penetrated into the inaccessible areas via tcl


I simply put the already existing quests in relation to the possible quests from my point of view (as a story writer) -> 1:10 to 1:20

That means ... without expanding the buildings, the 10-20 times higher "content" would be feasible


and of course I know - that it's one thing - to make up a story and write it down...but quite another to program a sequence of quests out of it

especially when those quests are sure to involve some heavy scripting sequences


how tricky is this one sequence at the end of the generator room quest ... you can find about 20 pages full of posts here in the tread


Ultimately, there is a fundamental dilemma here:

In the setup, you as a player are initially in a purely passive role - so the player avatar is controlled by the mod - your own abilities to act are blocked

as a player you are ... just a spectator ... um - is that really the point of a mod???


and that's exactly what the "engine" of this game is really not well suited for


I can't and won't give any advice to the mod authors... I have my own projects - which are hard enough to implement

?Most of what was written in the previous messages is true, but all I wanted to add is that this mod is mainly a project that me and Prime are carrying on for our own amusement and that we decided to share, so really, there shouldn't be as much hype as a triple A game release.

Yet we appreciate it. ?

our intention is to give players a lot more agency by giving some kind of questing HQ ("Missives" style, if you will, but more "Jobs of Skyrim" oriented and DD themed).
Anyways, yes, there will be scenes, but usually nothing longer than a couple of minutes ?

After first scene (fake inspector or volunteer) I have the message about ending of this mod. Interrogation does not occur either (after the first sentence girl is run out). How to fix it?

So Ive got no idea why or how but everytime I enter the facility skyrim LE just seems to start sucking up all the FPS and turns it into a slide show and it gets worse and worse the further I get in. Only seems to happen with this mod for some reason. Not sure if Ive set up Skyrim incorrectly or theres some sort of weird setting I need to enable or its some sort of mod I need (like FO4 Buffout) to fix it.

Chances are there is something wrong with your HDT setup.

Probably going to sound like an idiot but how do I check/reinstall HDT correctly? Last time I modded Skyrim LE was back in 2016 so its all new to me.

Check if you have this installed:

HDT Physics Extension (it was also needed in 2016 ^^)

 

and after that you might have overwritten it with specific HDT presets from your body mod like

AIO HDT Pussy

Naturalistic HDT

some bodies come with HDT presets too

or any other source of a HDT modification you installed

I have HDT Physics Extension installed and CBBE from Nexus as body so idk if it comes with a preset. Skeleton is the ol XP32 Maximum Skeleton and the HDT Breast and Butt Physics by Loremaster. So not sure where Ive gone wrong or if I should just do a clean reinstall and start again. I mean I also did install SKSE form Nexus and I feel its missing ini in it somewhere.

 

I also blame vortex and me being lazy as well and not using MO2. I got a feeling its load order and LOOT fucking with it.

  • Create a SKSE.ini, because SKSE doesn't create one automatically.
  • The SKSE.ini is also activates the Memory Block Fix.
  • SKSE is also essential part of memory management, more details here:  2020 Skyrim LE Stability Guide
  • With a simple SKSE.ini you can already create a more stable Skyrim thanks to better memory management. If you need to provide your setup with more memory then check out the next chapter about ENBoost.

I got the lazy user ini so that fixed that, changed the memory from default to 1024 so it seems more stable so far Ill try again but I got a feeling something somewhere is going to be borked.

One day I hope Todd will just sell us a version of skyrim that is stable with millions of weird sex mods. And Im not touching SE even if it probably will fix all my problems and more.

You would get more memory from using ENBoost, either standalone or as ENB.

IIRC you just changed the size of memory blocks.

Please be specific. XP32 Maximum Skeleton is different compared to the recommended Extended version
