All ooze stages were modeled on CBBE curvy and has no clipping on my body mesh... for what that's worth, which is little. The doll suit was also modeled, or more accurately weighted to CBBE curvy as well, but back in my time was always intended as a one-piece body replacer, merely toggling off all body slots when worn to avoid clipping issues from trying to break it into its constituent parts.

Yeah, the stages were easy peasy.

 

There are however some differences between LE cbbe and SE cbbe.

 

It's super easy for any of the suits that don't require the reference body to be present. Anything transparent or combos of outfits require a lot of fiddling. Skintight and transparent is the hardest thing IMO.

 

Eg. Something like the zipsuit works fairly well but it does have a relatively significant gap between the body and the suit.

So how do you leave the facility with the

visitor gloves and get back in?  Sounds like you need to do something like that for one of the current branches.

I am getting a crash right after I say I have an appointment and get taken away. I get the restraints put on, and then it goes to a loading screen and freezes

In current testing version there is no replayability. If you get thrown out then mod is over.

Is this the first mod you have tried with Devious Devices or do the others run fine? If you play on LE then main thing helping crashes is usually making the SKSE.ini file.

I have had others run before, but I just discovered I didn't have the ini, seems to be working now

Really want to know if there will be more Ooze in future updates. The scene where my girl soaked in Ooze and got a catsuit in the current version is fascinating. btw rubber dolls are also a good idea! Would love to see a "corrupted" scene where rubber dolls turn other girls into same ?

can someone explain how to get to the Maiden or Office endings? i cant figure it out, ive tried different skill with the guard at the door to no effect, Also on a side note, What is the delta patch for?

To get the Maiden ending, just fail the three buttons for the power.

To get the Office ending, I think you just need to lie to the receptionist about having an appointment.

I don't think there's a Skill Check or at least, there wasn't one when I tried it. I just said I was the Inspector and they just let me in.

Is there any rhyme or reason as to if the facility guard will let you in or not? It seems completely random. Not being allowed to experience the mod just because of a dice roll seems really counterproductive to me.

It doesn't work with luck but by the choices you make. If you can describe some dialog paths which don't let you in but you feel they should, you could describe those.

There is a speech check, it just isn't labelled as one. If your speech skill is high enough, they believe you, if it isn't, they don't.

Yes exactly right :)
There are quite a few "Hidden" speech checks in the mod most of them at the moment are with the Guard at the entrance but we plan to add more here and there. Generally when your character talks about their skill or tries to lie you better make sure your Speech or the talked about skill is high enough. It's also worth noting that the Skill checks in the mod are not the Vanilla (Roll the dice and hope) checks. Once you go over a certain threshold you succeed no matter what. And In regards to the entrance there is always a way to get inside, either trough speech/skill or if that fails try annoying the Guard enough and eventually you'll be brought inside where you want to or not ;)

 

 

To everyone else, I haven't forgotten about the Teasers I promised but unfortunately, I am running the game and Creation Kit on a potato at the moment and nothing looks how I want it to, so that's why I haven't posted anything yet. (Everything whould look kinda ugly ?)

If you're running up against the mega transfer limit, you could wait for another week or two.. three. However here's what I'd call a BETA. The egregious clipping for most of the stuff you'd encounter in the start of 0.75 is done away with.

 

The bodypart inconsistencies remain in this version (big gaps in arms & legs) for at least the suits mentioned above. The transparent suits (prisoner, guard) are in a good place, let's say on par with how DD's own version clip. Ooze is going to need fiddling with bone weights around hands and fingers.

 

Complex geometry like the maid suit needs some love around frills - possibly scaling down to cbbe proportions if I can keep the vertices from breaking apart (this would be straight forward if I'd edit the mesh in something else than Outfit studio and nifskope.)

 

I refreshed the dd devices from dd itself, to not duplicate effort - doesn't mean I didn't fuck them up by being stupid.

 

If you do try this, feedback is welcome. Already started to refresh the 3BA conversion based on these. (I'll remove the previous post's link because there is a ton of shit to improve, especially since I've learned about some of the more intricate details of making conversions.)

 

I've kinda been distracted by things, however at the very latest when there's a new update or something I'll get back to it. The transparent outfits will probably never be 100% perfect - in some cases there's going to be z-fighting depending on the distance to the npc, short of making them look like inflatables (more separation between the reference and the outfit mesh) there's a limit to how much that can be improved.

 

It's just a tedious process of adjusting the meshes and/or the bone weighting, booting skyrim up, checking and repeat. Because the base CBBE SE bodyslides exist the additional work into 3BA isn't that much more. Feel free to ping me or this post if there's something desperately wrong with the current state of affairs that needs attention. As awlays feedback is welcome.

You can preview how it looks like in the Outfit Studio itself, just have the reference body same as the body you are using.

Yeah, it's more of a having to see it animated to catch the flaws when the geometries clip or bone weights don't match properly. Unless there's a method in OS to do that.
